As I am working on them, I take inspiration from the Guyver armor from the anime. Once those enchantments are done, I use the remaining space to add the normal enchantments. Mainly self repair and stat buffs for the wearer, nothing too absurd.
Most of the time, they will be a fairly normal magical item, but when they activate they will be overpowered. This way the kids can encounter normal levels of danger that will help them grow stronger. At the same time I won't need to worry about them as much since the bracelets will protect their lives.
I also add a small enchantment that will bind them to the kids so that they can't be lost or stolen. When I am done, there is still a little room left, so I add the concealment enchantment. That way no one will target the kids because of the value of the bracelet.
This is the best that I can think of without being overprotective of them. I just hope that it isn't too much and that it doesn't hinder their growth. To that end, I don't plan to tell them about the armor function so that they won't rely on it.
Once the bracelets are done I go back to crafting the armor and weapons. Now that I have a decent amount, I start enchanting the finished ones while making more. Divided mind is really helpful since it doubles my crafting speed when I am doing repetitive tasks.
Since I need to make and enchant hundreds of pieces of armor and weapons, it really helps. Even with it, it is still going to take me days of work to make them all. Luckily, I don't need to make them all at once, the war is still a ways off.
However, it is a good way to use my free time while I am waiting for things to happen. Right now, I am waiting for the results of our movements into the empire. The troops should be able to handle it, but there is a chance that I will need to make a move.
Until they need me I am just going to keep crafting until it is dinner time or I get bored. I manage to make almost one hundred pieces and enchant about half of them before dinner. The kids stop training to come eat and Haku and Ekard return from the shadow plane.
That means that they didn't explore for long, but they don't seem to mind. After we are all done eating, I hand out the bracelets I made to each of them. Then we form a cuddle pile and watch anime for a while before the kids fall asleep.
Since I am not tired, once the kids are asleep I enter into meditation and then the hallway. I walk along until I reach the door to the world that is used as a battlefield. Then, as I touch the door, I think about how the dragon told me to mark the door.
For lack of a better idea, I just write battlefield on the door, that is enough for me to remember. Once the door is marked I open it and step through and begin forming a body. I may as well collect some more money while I am here and maybe some armor pieces.

According to the dragon, now that I have a soul palace I should be able to collect more of the pieces I already have. I want to test that out before I head to Soul City so that I can try trading them. Mainly because I want to save the coins for buying materials to expand my soul palace.
As soon as my body is built, I start looking for the map of battlefields that I was given. After I find it, I figure out where I am and then head for the nearest battlefield. Unfortunately, it is one that I have already been to and is completely empty.
The problem is that I didn't mark the battlefields that I looted and now I can't remember. So, I have to go to each and every battlefield marked on the map and see if anything is there. As I am flying around looking for them, I find a few battlefields that aren't on the map.
I am guessing that they are more recent ones, but that doesn't stop me from looting them. This time, I don't stop or get distracted, I visit all of the battlefields on the map. Now I can throw the map away and don't ever have to worry about it again.
Soul Coins Found: 38,160
Soul Crystals Found: 123
Soul Healing Potions Found: 16
Soul Armor Found: Helmet, Boots X3, Bracers X2, Pauldrons, Legs
Clearing all of those battlefields was definitely a good haul, I even got the armor legs. Now all that is missing to complete the first set is the chest piece and I already have four pieces of my second set. Not counting those, I still have two sets of boots and a set of bracers that I can trade.
This has been a really profitable trip, even if it did take up all of my available time. It took hours to visit all the battlefields and I get the feeling that the kids will be awake by now. I return to the hallway and then exit my meditation to return to a wakeful state.
As expected, the kids are awake and currently playing king of the hill using me as the hill. If I hadn't been in a meditative state, there is no way I could have slept through that. The game changes instantly when the hill decides to attack the current king.
Since the kids are all shrunken, I stay normal size to play monster and chase them around. I quickly wear the kids and myself out, so we stop playing and have breakfast. The food helps to re-energize us and once they are done eating the kids head to the shadow plane.
Once they are gone, I head to my workshop to resume crafting weapons and armor. Other than a short break for lunch, I spend the entire day crafting and enchanting. Thanks to working on two things at once, I don't get distracted at all by random thoughts.

Congratulations! Skill Divided Mind has progressed to level 3!
Divided Mind
Level 3
Allows you to split your mind into 2 parts.
Each part can focus on a separate task.
The kids aren't back yet, which is no surprise, so I eat dinner alone for once. When I am done eating, I leave the castle to check on how things are going. I summon Muyaun and then sit around waiting until she shows up to report.
Muyaun says "You summoned me, master?"
"Yes, I want a report on how things are going in the empire."
Muyaun says "Understood. The empire is currently divided into three basic areas. The northern duke has suppressed all the rebellious nobles in his region and has restored control. However, he has announced that he will remain neutral until the succession is sorted out and then swear loyalty to the new ruler."
"Succession? Is the emperor dead then?"
