Eventually, the kids run out of energy and the game ends, but they are all smiling. The kids and I are lying all over the room catching our breaths and that is when Myria walks in. She stops, looks around at all of us and the mess we have made and busts up laughing.

  "Um, welcome back?"

  Myria laughs and says "You are lucky that you have golems to clean up after you! This place looks like a warzone."

  "Only a small one!"

  Myria says "Well, at least it looks like you had fun. By the way, I heard we are invading the empire now? What happened to waiting until after you unified the beastmen?"

  "We are not invading. We are just nibbling a little at the edges. It will make it easier for us to invade later, but I still plan to unify the beastmen first."

  Myria says "Oh, okay. Then am I still heading to the land bridge to do some scouting?"

  "Yes and Lizzy is going with you as your mount."

  Myria says "I am fine with that, we get along well. Are the kids coming with me as well?"

  "That is up to them."

  Kechara says "Actually, we had planned on returning to our exploration of the shadow plane. We are running low on things for Ekard to eat."

  "Speaking of the shadow plane, I should now be able to create gates to the elemental planes as well."

  Mulan says "Those would benefit all of us! Can you create a gate to each of them for us to use?"

  "Sure, that shouldn't be a problem."

  Asuna says "Is it just the main planes, or can you create gates to the subplanes as well?"

  "Subplanes?"

  Kechara says "The ice plane would be a subplane of the water plane."

  "Oh. Currently I only know the coordinates of the four main planes, but it shouldn't be too hard to get the subplanes. Oh! Does that mean that there is a subplane of lightning?!"

  Kechara says "Yes, there is."

  "Alright. I will build the gates to the main planes and then see if I can find the coordinates for the subplanes. Does anyone know how many there are?"

  Kechara says "There are four that I know of. Lightning, ice, magma, and plant. Each one connects two of the main planes together."

  "Oh, that should make them easy enough to find. Lightning would be between air and fire, right? And ice would be between water and air?"

  Mulan says "That's right."

  "Alright, Jarvis, it sounds like I am going to need a special room just for gates."

  Jarvis says "I would suggest a second tower opposite of Mistress Lin's."

  "That sounds good. We will do that. Once I am done we will have nine gates, but more might get added later."

  Jarvis says "Understood."

  "I am going to make the new gates just like the one to the shadow plane, does that work?"

  Kechara says "Yeah, that would be great."

  Myria says "Aw, now I want to go plane hopping with the kids!"

  "You can if you want to. It's not like I am forcing you to go scouting."

  Myria says "No, I need to see what the demons are like. I can go with the kids after I come back."

  "That works too. Although, before you leave we need to talk about the wedding. We need to schedule it and I want to make some changes."

  Myria says "What kind of changes?!"

  "If Lin is okay with it, I want to marry both of you at once."

  Myria says "You what?! I thought you still needed time to decide if you wanted to marry me?"

  "That was just an excuse and you both knew it. While I appreciate you giving me room to breath, it is no longer necessary."

  Instead of responding, Myria jumps on me and starts kissing me while the kids laugh. I was not expecting her to have such a strong reaction to what I thought was a simple statement. It looks like my understanding of women has not improved at all.

  "Um, that is if both you and Lin are okay with it. If you prefer separate weddings, we can do that too. I'm just not sure of the timing of things if we do them separately."

  Myria says "I am fine with whichever! I will contact Lin and see what she wants to do. Give me a few minutes."

  Myria climbs off of me and moves to the side of the room to use her communication amulet. It is only then that I realize I should have probably talked to Lin first, but it is too late now. Hopefully, Lin isn't going to be too mad at me for talking to Myria about it first.

  Then again, Lin is normally really understanding, so maybe I won't be in trouble. Even if I am not in trouble, I need to think of a way to make it up to her. I just have too much on my mind right now and didn't think it through before opening my mouth.

  However, once it was said there was no way for me to take it back without hurting Myria. If Lin gets mad she will get over it, but with that kind of hurt, Myria might not have ever forgiven me. Out of the mistakes I could have made, this is probably the least damaging one.

  Myria says "Lin has agreed to a joint wedding. When should we schedule it for?"

  "Well, you need time to go down and scout the land bridge, so how about a month from today?"

  Myria says "Sounds good to me. Let me ask Lin....She says she has no problem with that. I will go send out the invites and let everyone know the date!"

  Myria runs out without giving me any chance to respond, she is really excited. As soon as she is gone, I grab my communication amulet and start apologizing to Lin. Luckily, Lin doesn't seem to be mad at me, but I still plan to do something to make it up to her.

  For now, I go back to playing with the kids, or at least I try to. They are having none of it, they want me to get to work on the new gates. They are all excited to explore new planes and don't give me a choice. So, I end up in my workshop building new gates while Jarvis builds a new tower.

  At this point I am glad that I gave him the ability to modify the castle since it saves me time. I really want to build my soul palace, but I can't do that until the new gates are built. Luckily, since I already figured everything out, building the new gates doesn't take long.

  At first, I just build four new gates for the four main elemental planes. I will build the others if I can figure out the coordinates for the subplanes. I am hoping that they will be easy to find once I have connected to the four main planes.

  Once they are built, I program in the coordinates for the planes and label the gates. Then I make the remotes, enchant them, and link them to each of the gates. I also color code both the gates and the remotes so that there is no confusion.
