Chapter Six: The First Night in Prison

Whats going on? Didnt they say my crime was a fight that caused multiple deaths, and I was sentenced to death with reprieve? Now whats this about attempted molestation? What is attempted molestation, isnt it just looking at someone a few more times? After hearing the prison guard read out his crime, Sun Baozi thought for a moment and guessed that he had probably been wronged by Liu Zhuang of the Judicial Bureau.

This is just a joke, seeing Sun Pengs rise too fast made him jealous, so he was pressed with this crime name. Even if the event ends later and meets that bastard again, he will say: indecent assault - what kind of crime is that? Its just a joke, dont get angry. As for how many beats were endured for the sake of the crime name, its because the prison management was not in place, who cares about the length of the sentence?

If this grudge isnt avenged, Sun Desheng will walk backwards from now on! Sun Wuzi silently cursed a few times in his heart. He raised his head and looked at the dozen or so prisoners inside the cell, only to see that their gazes were unfriendly, almost everyone showing him an expression of disgust.

After the prison guard arranged Sun Baozi and a few others, he left the cell. After seeing the prison guards figure completely disappear, all the prisoners in the cell came over one by one. The first black fat man glanced at Ximen Lian, then looked at Lao Mo and Xiong Wanyi, and finally fixed his gaze on Sun Baozis face.

Looking at the four people who didnt react, Hei Pangzi hesitated instead. His gaze shifted and he raised his chin towards Xiong Wanyi and the others: "Are you with this fatty?"

Xiong Wanyi and the other two shook their heads almost simultaneously. Xiong Wanyi, representing Xi Men Chain and Lao Mo, said: "We dont know him, we fought our way in, this guy played his way in with his eyes, were not from the same place."

"Its not the same road, thats easy to handle" Hei Pangzi turned back and sneered at Sun Pangzi, saying: "Do you know the rules of playing with eyes?"

"Its just a beating, right? Like nobody has ever been beaten before?" Sun Dawei chuckled ambiguously and suddenly changed the subject, rubbing his head and saying: "First of all, lets make it clear that when we fight according to the rules, we dont hit each other in the face. Lately, my memory hasnt been good, and if you hit me again, Ill forget even more. Not that Im saying this, but there are still a few accounts unsettled outside, what with this and that, the big officials business, and Old Mos added together, its not a small amount either. If you hit me and I forget, how will I explain it to them if they say Im welching on my debts?"

"Huh? Still a bean counter! Ill take care of whether you report or not!" As he spoke, Hei Pangzi swung his fist and hit Sun Wukongs nose. Just as the punch was about to land, a large hand suddenly reached out from behind and firmly grasped his wrist, belonging to Xiong Wanming, who had just shown that he wasnt on the same side as Hei Pangzi.

Seeing himself being subdued, Hei Pangzi was still a bit confused, staring at Xiong Wanyi and saying: "Dont interfere with our business! You two brothers fight is exempted, today Im coming for this fat guy... Ah! You really hit me! Brothers, lets do it! If we mess up, add the penalty to my account!"

Hei Pangzi was the big brother of this cell, and when he let out a loud shout, the crowd of prisoners behind him rushed over with a "whoosh". At this time, Lao Mo and Xi Men Chuan also charged forward. They were used to dealing with ghosts and monsters, but it was rare for them to fight with living people. On the other hand, Sun Pangzi, who had been standing at the front earlier, quietly retreated and climbed onto the upper bunk bed beside him, smiling as he watched the chaotic battle below.

Later, the prison guard heard something was wrong and rushed in with a baton to separate them. After questioning, the guard didnt punish the old inmate but instead took Sun Baozhe and three others away.

Sun Baozi and several others were locked in a small black room, originally thinking it was the kind of single cell found in prisons. However, after a while, the light bulb inside was turned on, and taking advantage of the faint light, Sun Baozi rushed towards Ximen Qingge and the others who were still adjusting themselves. Just then, a police officer in his fifties walked in carrying a large travel bag.

The newcomer let out a bitter laugh and said to Sun Baozi and the others, "I say, Sun, youve been here for just one day and already its come to this. In a few more days, wont you be organizing a prisoner riot?" This man was the warden of this small northern prison, and he knew about Sun Baozi and the others undercover mission.

"This thing I still want to ask you!" Seeing someone who knew the inside story coming, Sun Dawei immediately became angry: "Whats going on with attempted molestation? Ive never been so humiliated in my life. If this gets out, will I still have a face to go out and socialize?"

"This I just heard too, before I came, someone had already changed your charges. Excessive self-defense resulting in multiple deaths and injuries. Is that okay? Sun Ju, this is almost like adding a no outsiders allowed sign for you. And its good to make some noise this time, its a good excuse to change your cell numbers, the few of you will have separate cells, then Ill arrange for old inmates to be sent to your cells in rotation. Some of them know more about this prison than me, if you want to ask anything just ask them." The warden looked at Sun Ju and his group with a bitter smile.

"Remember to go out and publicize it for me." Sun Baozi chuckled, paused for a moment, looked at the wardens travel bag in his hand, and said, "Im not saying, our things are all inside, right?"

"The thing was sent by someone you dispatched, just this one package, I havent opened it to take a look." As he spoke, the warden had already handed the travel bag over to Sun Dawei.

Sun Baozi didnt check, and directly handed the travel bag to Ximen Chain behind him. The official opened the travel bag under the prison wardens nose, and the prison warden took a glance, feeling his blood pressure rise and his temples tightening. On top of the travel bag were four small palm-sized grenade pistols, each with two fully loaded magazines, plus the bullets inside the pistols, totaling 60-70 rounds. At this moment, the prison warden began to regret not opening it earlier for inspection...

All thats left are the batons and some standard equipment from the Bureau of Prisons. As he watched Sun Wuzi and the others take out these things one by one, the warden began to suspect: were they really not here to stage a prison break?

After they finished packing, the warden couldnt help but take a look at Xiong Wanyi and the others, then turned to Sun Baozi and said: "Sun, this is a prison after all. With so many things, its not convenient for you to bring them along. How about this? The incense, paper money, and other stuff, you can leave them here, Ill give you a pack of matches. As for the weapons and firearms, its better if theyre stored with me. Ill give you an emergency alarm, press it once and Ill send these things over right away. Im willing to take the risk, from now on until you all resolve the matter, Ill stay in the prison with you, if you dont leave, Ill accompany you."

"This wont do," Ximen Chain said to Sun Bao, "If the prison really has a problem, even if we press the alarm, by the time you bring things over, we may not be able to get up."

When the officer was speaking, Sun Baozi had already hidden all his equipment on himself. He didnt know how he hid it, but from the outside, you couldnt see anything at all. Then, Sun Baozi seemed to suddenly remember something. He said to the warden: "Right, can I get some of that sticky paper for tattoos?"

The warden understood Sun Kuangzis meaning and nodded. "Ill go find some for you," he said. "What kind do you want?"

Sun Baozi blinked his eyes and said: "The more people look at it, the better"

After leaving the small house, the warden personally took them to a new cell. For their convenience, an alcove was added in the corner of the wall a few days ago, where Sun Bi and others could store their equipment.

After the warden left, Ximen Lian and the other two first used a special transparent pen to draw dozens of talismans on the walls and floor, almost all of which pointed towards the door and window frames. Then they evenly sprinkled some white, nearly transparent powder in the four corners of the room, using a brush made from unknown animal hair to sweep it until it was almost invisible to the naked eye before considering it done. Sun Bao didnt lift a finger (he hadnt planned on doing so either), instead choosing a bed in the center of the room and watching as Ximen Lian and the others completed this series of actions.

After they finished a set of procedures, Sun Baozi finally let out a yawn and said: "Actually, these past few days weve been asking questions here, looking at the ones who were dismembered before they were released from prison, to see if they had any unusual behavior or contact with anyone before their release. Bringing equipment is just in case, basically its not going to be used. Im not saying this prison has no problems, otherwise we wouldnt have to wait until theyre released and dismembered. We could just chop them up right here inside."

Its stuffy and hot in the monitoring room, and after finishing a whole set of intense exercise, Ximen Chain and his brothers are already drenched in sweat. After hearing Sun Baozis words, Xiong Wanyi immediately became angry, pointing at Sun Baozi and shouting: "Why didnt you say so earlier! Look at our clothes, theyre all soaked with sweat!"

Sun Pangzi glared at Xiong Wanyi and snarled, "Just now when I was being bullied and couldnt do anything about it, neither of you spoke up for me. If your private account cards werent in my hands, just now you would have watched with open eyes as I got beaten up!"

Xiong Wanyi was not satisfied and wanted to scold a few more sentences, but was finally persuaded by Ximen Lian and Old Mo. The two officials were old hands, and after a few words, Xiong Wanyi stopped shouting loudly. Sun Baozi yawned on the other side and fell asleep as soon as he turned over. Just when Ximen Lian and his brothers lay down to catch their breath, a sound like metal scraping against glass came from the direction of the prison gate, making peoples hearts skip a beat.

As soon as they heard the sound, Ximen Chain and his two companions jumped up from their beds at the same time and ran towards the location of the dark grid. Just as they got up, it seemed that something on the floor at the door was burnt, and a scorched smell filled the entire cell.

Xiong Wanyi ran a few steps and suddenly turned around, running towards the door. "Its too late, Ill block it, you guys go get the stuff!" he shouted. As soon as his voice fell, a dull gunshot was heard, followed by a scream at the door. A figure wrapped in fog appeared for an instant before disappearing.

Xiong Wanyi turned around to look at the source of the gunshot, Sun Pangzi was sitting on the bed with a pistol in his hand, coldly smiling as he looked at the place where the incident had just occurred, saying: "For over thirty years nothing has happened, today suddenly something happens. Not that Im saying - the news is quite well-informed..."
