Nico: She is the one who brought Gold to the kindom?

  Alaric: I would like to hear about it.

  Emilia: Well about 2 years ago Thea had just became an adventurer. Her first quest was to bring back hides of wild boars. But when she went to the forest she was unable to find any wild boars there. So she couldn't complete the quest.

  Nico: How does it relate to Gold?

  Thea: Keep listening!

  Emilia: Her next quest was to exterminate a goblin camp near a water body. But when she reached there she found out that it had already been destroyed. Since she couldn't bring goblin remains the guild couldn't pay her. She failed this quest too.

  Alaric: I see where this is going.

  Emilia: Similar things kept on happening and Thea couldn't complete any of her quest. Then she took on a quest to pick some flowers and herbs. But she got lost and couldn't find her way back then she heard a voice. When she followed that voice she saw Gold surrounded by animals and talking to them. Thea found Gold suspicious and asked him what he was doing. Gold ignored her. But then Thea attacked him and they both got into a fight. After beating Gold Thea brought him here for investigation.

  Nico: Wait! Wait! Wait! Thea beat Gold?

  Alaric: Did she really beat you Gold?

  Gold: Yeah.

  Thea: Why do you have to be surprised?

  Emilia: After we questioned Gold we found out that it was because of him Thea and other adventurers couldn't complete their quests.

  Gold: Those boars were my friends and I couldn't just let goblins do what they want.

  Thea: I had to survive eating breads for so long because of him! I had to sleep outside because because I couldn't afford to rent a place! I had to wear dirty old clothes because I couldn't afford new ones! All of that because of him!

  Emilia: That happened in the past you should forgive him now. He is a good guy.

  Thea: Don't you take his side Emilia.

  Gold: Let's go both of you. I can't take it much longer.

  Alaric: Wait Gold! I have something I wanna propose.

  Gold: what?

  Alaric: Thea would you like to beat up Gold once again?

  Thea: I don't understand what you are trying to do? But yes I do wanna beat him up.

  Gold: Do you not understand? My head hurts!

  Alaric: Okay then! I will fight instead of Gold.

  Thea: That's not how it works. It's him that I wanna beat up not you.

  Gold: You can't beat him anyways.

  Thea: Is that so? Then let me prove you wrong.

  Alaric: Let's go the training grounds.

  All of them go the training grounds.

  Alaric: Are you ready Thea?

  Alaric attacks Thea and she barely reacts.

  Thea: I see. You are fast.

  Alaric uses the same attack again but this time he runs into an invisible wall and hits his head.

  Alaric: What is that?

  Gold: Alaric! She can manipulate any thing in nature. But only one thing at a time. She just made a wall of air.

  Alaric: Manipulate anything in nature! That's crazy!

  Gold: I know but you got this. She hasn't gotten even a bit stronger then when I fought her. Show her your family's secret technique.

  Thea attacks Alaric by manipulating the ground around him.

  Alaric: She is making it harder for me to move. I have to get close somehow.

  Alaric uses his skill on Thea. Alaric starts to seem faster to Thea.

  Thea: How is he moving so fast!?

  Alaric starts to close in on Thea. Thea Raises the ground beneath her and elevates herself.

  Alaric: ( Dammit now I have to climb that)

  Thea becomes normal.

  Alaric: (So slowing time for her won't work. What else can I do?)

  Thea makes trees come out of the ground. The trees grab Alaric and wraps theirs branches around him. Alaric is caught.

  Gold: You have a sword! Cut those trees!

  Alaric Starts cutting his way out of the trees. But then more trees appear and cover him up. Now Alaric is buried in between trees.

  Gold: I am having flashbacks. (Wait! Did he just? )

  Thea: That's all you got? Well it was a good effort I will give it that. But you are no where near me.

  Thea Comes down to the ground.

  Alaric: How about now?

  Alaric suddenly appeared behind Thea and placed his sword on her neck.

  Thea: How!? How were you able to come behind me out of nowhere? You were supposed to be crushed by the trees!

  Nico: Did he stop time?

  Gold: Yes.

  Alaric: Do you accept your loss?

  Thea: No I don't! Those cheap tricks of yours will never defeat me.

  Thea turns around to punch Alaric but then falls to the ground instantly.

  Thea: What is happening!? What did you do?

  Emilia: Accept your loss Thea it's embarassing.

  Thea: Fine!

  Gold walks up to Alaric.

  Gold: You don't have a time limit to how long you can stop time?

  Alaric: Time limit to stopping time? Does this sentence even make sense?

  Gold: I got your point.

  Alaric: But this does leave a mental effect on me. I can go crazy if I am not careful.

  Gold: So now what? Why did you do this all?

  Alaric: Just watch me.

  Alaric walks up to Thea.

  Thea: What do you want from me now?

  Alaric: You said you want to beat up Gold right?

  Thea: Yeah. I still want to.

  Alaric: But you cannot because Gold is even stronger than me.

  Thea: I don't believe it.

  Alaric: You can see for yourself. How about joining us for the next quest?

  Gold: I am the leader here and I reject the proposal.

  Alaric: Doesn't matter Nico agrees with me. Right?

  Nico: Yes I do!

  Thea: I reject it too. Like hell I would adventure with him.

  Alaric: How about I give you my share of the reward?

  Thea: Done! I will come with you.

  Gold: Are you fine with this Emilia? Why aren't you stopping them?

  Emilia: Thea adventuring with you doesn't worry me at all. I know how much she hates you.

  Gold: Okay! But only this time.

  Alaric: Yeah sure! I just wanna show her how strong my boss is!

  Gold: ( Like I would believe that) I am going now see you all tomorrow.

  Gold leaves.

  Emilia: He left on his own! Now what am I supposed to do?

  Alaric: Do your job maybe? Help us find a quest?

  Emilia: Oh yeah! Let's go.

  Emilia looks for the quests.

  Nico: Find anything yet?

  Thea: Give us something that pays alot of money! Doesn't matter how dangerous. Alaric and I can take on anything.

  Nico: You don't hate him for beating you?

  Thea: I am kinda upset but I don't hate him for that. He showed me how weak I am.

  Nico: You are quite strong! You even beat Gold back then.

  Thea: But not anymore.

  Alaric: I thought you didn't believe me when I said Gold is stronger than me.

  Thea: I am not an idiot. I just didn't wanna accept it. Someone like you wouldn't follow the weak man I beat back then.

  Nico: Thea can I ask you why you became an adventurer?

  Thea starts to look sad.

  Thea: I was really poor as a kid but I was happy because I had my grandfather with me. But when my powers awakened I was taken away from him. The village started treating me as a godess because of my ability to control nature. I was kept alone in a room and no one was allowed to see me. But one night someone woke me up while I was sleeping. It was my grandfather. He took me with him and escaped from the village. He then took me to a city. I was very happy that I was free now and I can live with my grandfather again but then he told me the villagers had already poisoned him and he doesn't have long to live. I started to cry and hugged him. He asked me to promise him that I will grow up healthy and live happily and use my powers to help people. He then left me at an orphanage and I never saw him again.

  Nico starts to cry.

  Alaric: If helping people is your goal then you should join our party.

  Thea: No I don't like your boss.

  Alaric: You should give him another chance. I can proudly say that my boss is the greatest man I have ever seen.

  Thea: Okay. I will give him another chance.

  Nico: That means Thea is one of us now!

  Thea: I haven't decided yet!

  Nico: I am sure you will join us.

  Emilia: I found it! A quest that is worthy for all you of you!
