“What’s up with that look on your face?” Icarus asked Jason, as they sat in the back of the van. In the front seat were Jason’s Mourning Stars, Pearl, Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Nagasaki driving the van to Jason’s wanted location.
It was moments after Luluwa’s return from her battle, Jason had to leave again on business. The Cult of Jason had grown very successful and now, he needed more space. And more equipment. Where else than the former Confederation Headquarters to commit his plans. Since it was from there that he one ruled.
Problem is, the former Confederation Headquarters is located in the Rosario Territory. The Rosario Family is a long line of farmers and of course, use monstrous ways for unbelievable crop yield. They were very territorial but that didn’t matter to Jason.
Since he created them.
“I just feel all giddy inside, like I just rejected the prettiest girl in the office.” Jason described the feeling as best as he could. As a very odd-looking grin was plastered on his face.
“Why would you break the poor girl’s heart? Do you think you’re deserving of that role?” Icarus mocked Jason. Jason knew that Icarus is an advocate for chaos, that’s all he knows and all he loves. So, he didn’t take offense to it. Instead, entertaining the bantering because he was bored.
“Is she deserving of everything just because she’s pretty?” Jason countered with a more morally threatening question. He shrugged, “It takes more than a cute face than to have this world on its knees.”
“There you go again, Mauter! You say it perfectly!” Icarus cheered. Slouching back in the chair and having his arm around Jason. When you ignore his mannerisms, you realize that he is a large man. Just like his father. “Did I mention how much I love chaos?”
“And you sir, are a perfect medium for it, that’s why I hang around you,” Icarus explained himself clearly. As far as he could see, he gets everything he wants. There’s nothing Jason could offer him, he’s just here for his boredom. “You are more than a pretty face. Place the world on its knees.”
“What’s this? You’re saying you find me attractive?” Jason continued to tease the man by the one comment. “Well, I was a bit of a heart breaker before I became a war criminal.”
“Conventionally speaking, yes you are,” Icarus admitted, he got bored and was cleaning his black painted nails. He was man-spreading and had Jason in a corner. “But to me, not my type.”
“I’d only sleep with you to piss someone off,” Icarus got close to Jason’s face and admitted.
“Who am I to question someone’s company,” Jason laughed but, he hardly swung that way.
Suddenly, the van started to rumble and gunshots echoed.
Pearl slid the view cover on the back seat and spoke to Jason, “Nuns are chasing us, high on our tail.”
“In the Rosario Territory too? Quite bold,” Jason smirked as he looked out the window and spot the nuns.
Three of the best nuns in CHO were chasing them down. The driver being a dirty blonde nun with an eye patch, wielding a shotgun she kept blasting at the van. The one in the passenger seat being a dark girl with strange hair, who commanded these cutesy feline creatures to shoot AK-47 at them. And atop was the most important of them all, kicking these orbs of aspects at them.
“I wonder what pissed them off?” Jason playfully said aloud, knowing the answer to that already and not expecting a response.
“Maybe it was the Festival,” Icarus shrugged, playfully stating the obvious.
“Maybe it was the propaganda I spread about them at the Confederation,” Jason shrugged, smirking with Icarus.
“Maybe it’s their artifacts you left on the site of those murders,” Icarus shrugged along.
“I guess we’ll never know,” Jason sighed, ignoring the intense shaking of the van.
“So… what should we do?” Pearl asked. As a respectful soldier, he was ready for any command.
“I want you three to focus on driving and lookout for any Rosario’s,” Jason commanded, seeing that their reinforced van was taking more damage as time passed. “I will handle this.”
“K, Boss!” Pearl shut the blind and the driving became reckless!
“So how exactly are you going to handle this?” Icarus found it amusing, wanting to see how it would unfold, “Considering that-!”
“I was hoping that you’d be a pal and offer your assistance,” Jason didn’t bring him along for this purpose but, it certainly was a bonus. He expected the nuns to attack him eventually.
“I should have guessed really,” Icarus laughed. In his hands formed a strange guitar, made of feathers, spider silk and other material. “You’re lucky I was getting bored.”
He broke a window and hopped out of it, jumping onto the roof of the van and facing the pursuing truck, “Shall I cull some nuns?”
“Don’t kill the one on the roof!” Jason poked his head out the window and told Icarus. He ducked quickly to avoid a blast from the shotgun but, his arm was damaged. It healed abnormally quick.
“You saying that just makes me want to! Heart-Shaped Box!” A red dream catcher with a strange starry fluid in its lines formed, reflecting bullets and orbs sent by the nuns. He strummed the guitar to manipulate it and was having a bit of a hard time. “Why shouldn’t I?”
“Take a whiff of her pheromones!” Jason told him, staying in the safety of the reinforced van.
Icarus took a deep breath and smirked, realizing things were more interesting now. That specific nun jumped from the truck and sent a kick at Icarus which he defended easily, “You should have said so from the get-go!”
“Why showing your chopped ass face, you spoilt bitch!” The nun bounded off the dream catcher and landed back on truck. “You ain't the target, get out my way!”
“You shouldn’t refer to parents after what I just found out!” Icarus laughed, he wasn’t going to attack just yet. He wanted to be chased some more. “And why can’t I be your target?”
“Arabella!” He sent a blue dream catcher forward, without the starry fluid. It was meant to slice and dice!

“Saint Benedict!” The nun defended against the attack with a strong, near invisible barrier. The barrier crumbled after, she didn’t expect the attack to be so strong. She was prideful in her barrier’s strength.
“It would make me feel much special…” Icarus grinned with the girl as he slowly strummed his guitar to a low but, powerful rhythm.
Suddenly there was a bright light, forcing the truck off them. They turned their sights to the source to see a huge machine that released the laser and two persons standing in front of it.
“They retreated…” The man who built the laser machine spoke. He was a large man, in farm clothing and having dark skin. His hair was long and curly, brown in color.
“Of course they did, they aren’t after us,” A very tall and beautiful dark skin woman spoke, standing beside him. In more elegant wear. She felt her heart skip a beat as Jason’s van pulled over abruptly in front of them, “They’re after him.”
“Howdy’ do!” Jason exclaimed as he hopped out the van. Icarus bounded off the van’s roof while the Mourning Stars stayed in the driver’s area.
“You dare to bring your problems into my land?” The man exclaimed but, he knew he had to be careful. “I read your letter demanding a meeting, Bradley’s boy.”
“You didn’t even make it a request, you made it clear that I couldn’t refute it or else,” The man glared at Icarus sharply and didn’t ignore Jason’s presence, “But, if it’s problems you want. I won’t entertain it.”
“Calm down, you brawny fool,” Icarus laughed in his face. Here came the interaction he actually wanted. “I am not the one who wanted to see you, my dear friend here did.”
“What do you want, Mauter?” The man spoke to him in cold disgust. Jason knew the man, he now lead the Rosario Family.
Jerome Rosario.
“What else would I want in your lands, Rosario?” Jason mocked the man, peering down the lands to see the huge building. “I want back what’s mine, the former Confederation Headquarters.”
“It’s better you leave and drop dead somewhere else, we Rosarios have thrived her without any problems,” Jerome made his thought on the topic clear. “And we will continue to do so.”
“I’m not asking for it so easily, give me a price,” Jason wanted to avoid a fight as much as possible. The Rosarios have two incredible fighters, persons even Jason doubt Icarus or any of his men could defeat. “And I will meet it.”
“My opinion isn’t changed,” Jerome said coldly. About to leave but, his wife, Lucia, stopped him.
“Jerome, money could be good for us right now,” Lucia went into his path and tried to reason with him. She was desperate. Though she couldn’t tell her reasons, she needed Jason to get the old headquarters no matter what.
“Lucia, my love, think of what could happen to our lands,” Jerome became loving and held her hand caringly. Lucia cringed and had to hide her disgust. “Even in Kisscensiata, we managed to avoid trouble.”
“So why now?”
“It’s about pride, Jerome, it’s about our family,” Lucia tolerated the hand holding and avoided the expressing her disgust.
“So damn stubborn, you’re just like your old man,” Jason started to mock him since he wasn’t getting what he wanted. This is what Icarus was waiting for, leaning on the van as Jason became cruel.
“Don’t speak as if you know him,” Jerome released Lucia and glared at Jason.
“Oh but, yes I do, I have been alive for a long time, young Rosario.” Jason idly looked around the area before smirking at Jerome, “I made your family, brawny fool.”
“You only helped us get started,” Jerome said sharply, feeling offense the more Jason spoke.
“So you do know that much? I’m surprised the stubborn old head had time to tell you that,” Jason wanted to laugh but, controlled himself. “Before the King of the Damned took his life.”
“You watch your mouth! Mauter!” Jerome grabbed Jason’s collar and lifted him into the air. In that moment, persons hiding in the bushes came out and aimed at Jason. Also aiming at Icarus.
“Jerome, put him down! If we make him an enemy we’ll have too much problems!” Lucia reprimanded him. “Just give him what he wants!”
“You put him down right now, before I make a phone call…” Icarus stopped the Mourning Stars from jumping out the van and attacking. He was bored now.
“Jerome,” Hearing that threat, Lucia tried to calm him down. Feeling the weight of it too, Jerome released Jason.
Jason smirked, here came the real reason he brought Icarus along. He is spoilt. No matter what his father, the Representative, indulged his tantrums. That boy got whatever he wanted. And Jason planned to his privilege to get what he wants too.
“Now listen here, you’re going to sell Mr. Mauter here the old headquarters or I have my good ol’ pop pop raid the Rosario Territory with detectives,” Icarus felt amazing as he laid down his threats, feeling a new rhythm coming to his head. “And slaughter every single one of you.”
Jerome trembled at the thought of it, if he didn’t then they would be slaughtered. If he killed them, they would be slaughtered. There’s no running away from it.
“You bastard…” Jerome muttered.
Lucia held her breath, she just needed him to sell the building to them.
A speeding bullet was coming at them, being the size of a fist. Icarus reacted too late and it was about to hit Jason, Lucia and Jerome. Lucia being no ordinary woman, she drew her hunting rifle off her back and shot the bullet. They collided and the speeding bullet was reflected.
“You’re amazing,” Jerome muttered as he held Lucia.
Lucia escaped his embrace and looked at the ground in disgust, “Thanks…”
“Why are they so persistent? Get a clue,” Jason groaned, he was just getting what he wanted. Icarus was defending them from the bullets. But, having difficulty since the bullets were larger.
“Not even moments passed and you’re causing problems on my land,” Jerome muttered, standing before Lucia and preparing machines of his liking.
“What can I say? It is my expertise,” Jason laughed, feeling no sense of danger from the situation.
“Now, have you two made your minds? Or do I have to kill you myself,” Icarus threatened, getting frustrated since they were attacking at a distance. He had to use multiple dream catchers to defend.
“Get out of my way,” A man of no normal presence came pushing through. He was larger than Icarus but, smaller than Jerome. Wearing attractive leather armor, and a furry coat. He had long black hair with purple ends and wore an eye-patch with a Celtic knot on it.
“Amethyst…” Lucia muttered at the sight of her little brother. One of the Rosario’s strongest fighters, Amethyst Rosario.
A sword materialized in Amethyst’s right hand and he threw it up, the incredible weight of the sword dragged him up too. He landed where the nuns were perfectly and created an enormous sinkhole from his landing.
“Shit, why did you have to be here?” The nun who attacked from the roof muttered. She was tall, taller than even Jerome. In her [grotesque] and taking a defense stance. She had brown skin and freckles along her nose pillar, having medium length brown hair.
“Azeura, who put you up to this? Was it Stéphane?” Amethyst questioned the nun.
“Who else? Big sis wanted us to slide on that bitch Jason,” Azeura said firmly. She was familiar with him since they were in the same age group and met during Kisscensiata.
“I don’t like him either but for your safety, you should stay away from him,” Amethyst gave the girl a fair warning, “Let the other nuns handle it.”
“We’re definitely not going to win against you so I guess we should leave.” The young nun, around 14 or more, with red and white hair spoke.
“Binx,” She tore out a red strand and tossed it. It formed a large, psychedelic that worked on two legs. It held up a portal for them.
“So what! Who does this man think he is! Chistian Man’o’war!” The eye-patched nun punched forward and a sphere of destructive holy stimulus was sent at Amethyst.
“Bleda.” Amethyst withstood the attack with no damage, looking at the nun with an unamused expression.
“Portia! He's different! We ain’t go fight him here!” Azeura grabbed the girl and flung her out the portal. The young nun also entered it.
“Look, I don’t know what kind of connection you think I have with Jason but you watch your back too,” Azeura spoke as she slowly entered the portal. “You don’t need the devil up in your crib.”
The large psychedelic cat also entered the portal, showing a middle finger at Amethyst as the portal collapsed.
Amethyst used his incredible sword to land back where they were but, dematerialized it so he wouldn’t create another crater.
“If you do sell it to him, make sure we gain the most. Scam him of everything,” Amethyst spoke as he didn’t even acknowledge Jason or Icarus. He kept walking, “Sis, I want to talk to you later.”
“Okay kid…” Lucia knew she was going to get reprimanded later but, she can’t explain herself yet.
Jerome trembled his fists, as much as he didn’t want them in his land, “10 million credits.”
“And it’s yours.”
Jason’s eyes widened. If he gave that much, his cult would be reduced to just 500,000 credits. He couldn’t barter the price either since he drove the Rosarios in such a corner already. Jason loved gambles, feeling as if he could win it back by exploiting his followers and using Xitalli.
Since the headquarters was the biggest prize.
Jason grinned as he was the devil, “Deal.”
