the betrayal

In land of Aldron, there lived a kntheight named Ada, the daughter of a man called Eldrin, who was the King

of aldron. As Ada grew up, she admired her father as a brave and loyal ruler. But over time, she began to

  notice cracks in his honor.

When Eldrin saw the power Ada possessed, his pride turned to fear. He realized that her strength could one

day threaten his position as the mightiest in Aldron. One fateful day, when orcs attacked the kingdom, Ada

joined the battle. She fought valiantly, cutting down every orc that stood in her path. Eldrin, watching from a

distance, felt a chill run down his spine. He feared what might happen if Ada turned against him.

After the war, as the orcs retreated in the face of Ada's dominance, Eldrin sat on his throne, consumed by

  paranoia

Eldrin and Ada ventured into the cursed forest. The air grew heavy as they approached the domain of the

Undead King. Suddenly, a chilling laugh echoed around them.

"What brings the King of Aldron to my realm?" asked Marcus, the Undead King.

Eldrin replied confidently, "We're here to strike you down, Marcus!"

Marcus smirked. "You and your daughter? How quaint."

Before they could attack, an army of undead soldiers emerged from the shadows. Seizing his chance, Eldrin

mounted his horse and fled, abandoning Ada. Realizing her father's betrayal, Ada steeled herself and fought

  on, slicing through countless undead.

But exhaustion began to take its toll. A skeleton struck her back, another slashed her stomach. Wounded and

  weary, Ada collapsed before Marcus.

"All that effort... for nothing," Marcus sneered as he plunged his sword into her chest.

Ada's last words, spoken through ragged breaths, were, "For Aldron..." before her world faded to darkness.

  A Mother's Grief

Back in Aldron, whispers spread about Ada's fate. Some suspected Eldrin had fled out of fear. But Ada's

mother, Alandria, refused to believe her daughter had fallen so easily.

Determined to find the truth, Alandria ventured into the cursed forest. There, she found Ada's lifeless body,

her armor glinting faintly in the dim light.

"ADA! My sweet child, I'm so sorry!" she cried, collapsing to her knees beside her daughter's corpse. Grief

turned to rage as she realized what Eldrin had done.

Alandria returned to the castle and confronted her husband. "You left her to die! What kind of father does

  that?" she screamed.

Eldrin, panicking as the courtiers murmured, drew his sword and silenced her with a single, fatal strike. The

room fell silent in horror as he bellowed, "Anyone who questions my decisions will meet the same fate! Obey

  me or die!"

The Rise of a Fallen Death Knight

Years later, a wizard named Ziron stumbled upon Ada's body in the forest. Opening his spellbook, he found a

necromancy spell with a dire warning:

"Resurrecting this soul will grant immense power, but at a cost-their life will drain with each use of that

power, and they cannot be brought back again."

Knowing the risks, Ziron cast the spell. Ada awoke, confused and disoriented.

"Where... am I?" she asked weakly.

"You're in Asteria," Ziron replied, helping her up.

When Ada learned why she had been resurrected, she was hesitant. "Why me? I can't match his power," she

  said.

"You haven't even begun to realize your potential," Ziron assured her. "Your power will one day be feared

across the land. But first, you must rise against your father. If you don't, Asteria will fall under his rule."

He handed her two swords. "Begin by taking revenge on the Undead King. Control his army-it will be the start

  of your own."

Ada, her memories of betrayal flooding back, gripped the swords and set off for the undead kingdom.

  The Undead King's Fall

At the gates of Marcus's castle, Ada stood resolute. Marcus, seeing her, shouted in fear, "Attack! Don't let her

  near the throne!"

Ada charged with blinding speed, cutting down waves of skeletons. When she reached Marcus, he

stammered, "You... you were dead! This is impossible!"

Ada smirked. "With a little help, I've returned."

Marcus roared, raising his battle axe. He charged, but Ada dodged effortlessly, delivering a devastating

counterattack. Marcus staggered, gasping for air. In an instant, Ada appeared behind him, her blade slicing

his throat. The Undead King fell, his reign ended.

Ada severed Marcus's head and returned to Ziron, who greeted her with a nod of respect. "I knew you'd make

  him pay," he said.

Dropping Marcus's head at Ziron's feet, Ada asked, "What's next?"

Ziron replied, "Now, you build an army."

  To Be Continued...

  Ada's First Challenge

Ada looked at Ziron and asked, "What kingdom should I go for first?"

Ziron responded, "You should go for Aughton. His army will be a great help against your father."

Ada nodded but hesitated. "How am I supposed to ask for their help when they see what I've become?"

With a smirk, Ziron replied, "I'm sure you'll figure it out." Turning away, he added just loud enough for her to

hear, "You always find a way."

Ada turned toward the trail that led to Aughton and started walking.

After a long journey, she approached the gates of Aughton. Two guards stood watch. One raised his polearm,

pointing it at her. "Who are you, and what business do you have in this kingdom?"

Ada raised her head, her fiery eyes glowing as she said, "I need to speak to your king."

The guard trembled in fear. "Why... why do you need to speak to the king?"

Before she could answer, a booming voice came from the wall above. The king, watching the scene unfold,

demanded, "State your name if you seek my attention."

Ada looked up at him and declared, "My name is Ada. I've come to speak with you."

The king stared at her for a few moments, a flicker of recognition crossing his face. Finally, he said, "How do

  we know you're Eldrin's daughter?"

Without hesitation, Ada removed her helmet, revealing her face. Her fiery eyes burned with intensity. The

king's expression shifted to shock as he whispered, "It's her." He motioned to the guards. "Let her through! I

  must know what happened."

The guards stepped aside, allowing Ada to enter.

Inside the castle, the king led Ada to a table. He called for his maids to bring drinks, his eyes never leaving

her. After a moment, he asked, "What... what happened to you?"

Ada's voice was cold. "Eldrin... he betrayed me."

The king's face twisted in disbelief. "Eldrin? The King of Aldron? Do you expect me to believe he would do

  such a thing?"

Ada clenched her fists, her voice taut with restraint. "Look at me. Look at what I've become. Do you think I

just turned into a Death Knight out of nowhere?"

The king sat in silence, pondering her words. Finally, he asked, "How did it happen?"

Surprised by his interest, Ada hesitated before responding. The anger and pain surged within her, but before

she could speak, the king slammed his fist on the table. "Tell me what happened, Ada!"

She snapped; her voice filled with rage. "He sent me on a mission and left me for dead!"

Her anger subsided as quickly as it rose, and she sank into her chair. The king stared at her, stunned. He sat

in silence, trying to calm himself, his hands trembling slightly. Finally, he spoke, his voice steady but cold.

"That's... absurd. He wouldn't..." His voice trailed off, and anger overtook him. and he sat in silence and then

asked. "What did you come to me for, Ada?"

"I need your aid in the war against my father."

Before she could explain further, the king interrupted. "You have my aid, Ada. And from now on, you may

  call me Barion."

Ada nodded and stood. "We have three years before my father plans his attack. Be ready."

  Barion nodded solemnly.

Meanwhile, the kingdom's general, Zaron, sat in the shadows, watching the interaction with suspicion.

Turning to his bounty hunters, he ordered, "Keep an eye on her. If anything, suspicious happens, attack her.

  Understood?"

The bounty hunters nodded and slipped away.

After her discussion with Barion, Ada left the kingdom, heading toward the dwarven lands. As she walked,

she felt a presence behind her. She stopped and turned, spotting the bounty hunters trailing her. A smirk

spread across her face. "So, Zaron is that afraid of me, huh?"

One of the bounty hunters sneered. "It would be best if you kept your mouth shut, Death Knight."

Before they could react, Ada dashed forward, her blade cutting through them with ease. She held one of their

severed heads aloft, letting it hover above her hand. Without a word, she marched back to Aughton.

At the gates, the guards recoiled in shock at the sight of Ada with the floating head. They quickly stepped

  aside, allowing her to pass.

Inside Barion's hall, she threw the head to the ground in front of Zaron. The general froze, fear etched across

  his face.

Barion turned to him, his voice cold and sharp. "Guards! Have him executed!"

The guards seized Zaron as Ada turned and left, her mission to unite the kingdoms far from over.

Then she realized she needed to gain the elves' alliance. With their skills and numbers, they could truly turn

the tide in the battle against her father. Determined, she began her journey westward toward the elven

kingdom. Along the way, she came across a small village named Eldimore, an elven settlement. She saw

children playing and villagers smiling, their happiness reminding her of her father's kingdom as it once was.

But the memory of what her father had done pushed her to quicken her pace, her resolve to reach the elven

  kingdom growing stronger.

  up

As she drew closer, the woods became a vibrant shade of green, with sunlight blazing down on her pale skin.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of branches snapping in the distance. She stopped, straining her ears to listen,

when guards from the elven kingdom sprang out from the shadows, their bows and arrows aimed directly at

  her.

With a booming voice, a young guard demanded, "Who are you, and what is your business here?"

Ada met his gaze, her eyes unwavering, and replied, "I am Ada, daughter of Eldrin." His name slipped off her

tongue like a cursed chant, one she loathed even to utter.

The guard eyed her with suspicion until, all at once, the general emerged from the trees, rushing toward

  them.

"Ada!" he exclaimed. "What has happened to you?"

Ada met the guard with a sorrowful gaze and replied, "Frandel, it's good to see you alive, but I think you and

your king should hear this story inside."

Frandel, confused and concerned, nodded. "Oh, of course. Come on in," he said, signaling to the guards. They

opened the gate, and Ada and Frandel made their way toward the king's hall.

As they arrived, the King of Manderial sat on his throne. Frandel stepped forward first and announced, "Your

Royal Highness, I have a guest you'll want to meet."

At that moment, Ada slowly stepped forward. The king froze in shock as he saw her. His voice faltered as he

asked, "W... what happened to you, my poor dear?"

Ada looked at the king and said, "Haryn, my father, Eldrin... he betrayed me."

Haryn leaned back, stunned, his eyes wide with disbelief. "W... what kind of father...?" he began, but his

  words trailed off.

Ada slowly shed a tear, and as Haryn saw it, anger rose within him like a storm. He stood, his voice filled with

fury, and declared, "Your father will pay for what he did! You have my word, Ada."

Ada looked up, surprised but also relieved to have his word that her father would pay. Bowing respectfully,

  she said, "Thank you, Haryn."

She rose from her bow and turned, walking away from the elven kingdom.

She then headed north toward the dwarven kingdom. As she walked along the path leading to the gates of

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Nolria, she suddenly heard voices in her head-children screaming and a woman begging for someone to save

  them.

Ada felt a wave of horror, but then she realized this was another aspect of her power. These weren't just

voices; this was actually happening in a nearby village.

She began frantically searching, her steps quickening as the voices grew louder, the strain in her head almost

unbearable. Finally, she saw it-the village engulfed in flames, under attack by orcs.

Ada then quickly ran in her two swords ready for combat she ran in and quickly got rid of the orcs the people

terrified of what they have seen and seeing a women in black armor with such speed and skill they just all

went to hide in fear and ada just stood their sad that the people are scared of what she became

But in the woods stood a great pale orc that kept eyes on her and slipped away

Ada quickly drew her two swords, ready for combat, and dashed into the village. With swift, precise

movements, she eliminated the orcs. The villagers, terrified by the sight of a woman in black armor moving

with such speed and skill, fled to hide in fear.

Ada stood there, her heart heavy with sadness, realizing the people were as frightened of her as they had

  been of the orcs.

Unbeknownst to her, a great pale orc watched from the shadows of the woods. Its eyes remained fixed on her

before it silently slipped away into the darkness.

Ada walked away, her heart heavy with sorrow. As she continued down the path, glimpses of voices echoed

in her mind. She tried to fight them, to drown them out and focus, but they only grew louder.

Suddenly, a voice unlike any other-inhuman and speaking in Orcish-resonated in her mind. Chills ran down

her spine as she realized someone was watching her, though she couldn't determine who it was.

She tried to speak, to demand answers, but before she could ask, the voice vanished, leaving her mind as

  abruptly as it had entered.

Ada reminded herself of her main objective and pressed on.

When she arrived at the gates of Nolria, two dwarf guards stood watch. One of them called out, "State your

  business."

Ada replied, "I am Ada, and I seek an audience with your king."

The guard eyed her warily and asked, "For what reason?"

"I must have his attention for something dire," she answered.

The guard looked at her, surprised and concerned. After a moment, he said, "I'll inform the king." He opened

the gate and entered the city, heading straight to the throne room.

"My lord," the guard said, bowing, "there's a woman at the gate who seeks your attention."

The king raised an eyebrow. "What is her name?"

  "Ada," the guard replied.

The king froze, his expression one of shock. "Bring her in," he ordered.

The guard stepped outside the gate, looked at Ada, and said, "Go on in," as he opened the gate.

Ada entered and made her way to the throne room, standing before the dwarf king. She bowed slightly and

said, "It's a pleasure to have your attention, Nessol."

Nessol stared at her, somewhat terrified by what she had become. After a moment, he said, "Ada... what...?"

Ada replied, her voice steady, "My father left me for dead, and I was resurrected."

Nessol sat in silence, shocked by the revelation and by the sight of her transformation. After a pause, he

asked, "Tell me, Ada... is it true that your father betrayed you?"

Ada simply nodded, her expression somber.

Nessol leaned back in his throne, still processing the news. Then, locking eyes with Ada, he said with

conviction, "I swear to you, Ada, we will fight this bastard, and we will take him down together."

  A

da smiled at Nessol and nodded. "I will need your army by nightfall-that's when he will strike," she said.

Nessol nodded and replied, "I will have them ready."

Ada nodded once more, gave a final bow, and then turned around, walking out of Nolria.

  THE WAR

As Ada's quest to gather an army was successful, she headed back toward her kingdom in the east.

Once she arrived, she used some of her power to raise an army of undead. She began training herself on how

to command them and learning how much energy it took to raise them.

After repeating the process over and over, she finally mastered the ability to summon a giant skeleton

wielding a massive sword. She smiled, realizing how much stronger she was becoming.

As Ada continued to train and refine her new abilities, the other kingdoms were preparing their armies, and

the light of day was slowly fading.

  Finally, night fell.

The first army to arrive for the battle was Ada's, followed by Eldrin's army. The air was thick with tension, the

anger between daughter and father palpable.

Next, Barion's army emerged from the mountains to the north, followed by Nessol's army, which came from

  the same direction as Barion's.

All eyes turned to Ada as she approached and joined them.

She eyed each army, then glanced back at her father, waiting to see if he would signal his forces. But he just

stood there. Finally, Ada noticed something missing-she looked over her army again and realized the elven

kingdom was absent. She scanned the direction of the forest but saw no sign of the elves.

Suddenly, Nessol's voice broke through. "I knew we couldn't trust the damn elves!"

Ada kept her gaze fixed on the forest, sensing that the elves would appear later, but she refocused her

  attention on her father.

She mounted her undead horse and rode to the front of her army. Raising her sword high, she spoke with

conviction, "Men and women, we are here to fight for Aldron and to prevent this man from taking it from us.

Now we will stand as one and fight as one... FOR ALDRON!"

As she raised her sword in the air, the entire army roared in unison, shouting, "For Aldron!"

Once Ada heard the roar of her army, she turned back to her father with a smirk on her face. The entire army

charged forward, Ada leading the charge, and they roared with confidence as they surged into battle.

Finally, the armies collided. Ada focused her attack on her father, determined to end this.

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed from the distance. Ada scanned the battlefield, but she couldn't identify its

source. Then, giant orcs emerged from the ground.

It hit her-her father had stooped to a new low. He had sided with the orcs.

As the battle raged on, Ada's army started to get overwhelmed. From the distance to her left, King Barion's

voice rang out, "FALL BACK! WE'RE OUTNUMBERED!"

Ada spotted a giant orc charging toward Barion. She pushed through the knights and orcs in a desperate

attempt to reach him, but before she could get there, the giant orc grabbed Barion.

"NO!" Ada screamed as the orc snapped Barion's back, slaying him instantly.

Ada froze in shock, her mind racing. Panic set in as she looked around, feeling helpless. Then, the

combination of panic and fury made her snap.

A powerful purple aura erupted from her, and she drained the life force from the nearby knights. The energy

  f

lowed into her, granting her more power.

She screamed at the top of her lungs, eyes locked on her father, "FOR ALDROOOOOONNNN!"

Her army, initially shocked by her outburst, was suddenly filled with renewed determination. They roared

and charged back into the fray, fighting alongside Ada with newfound resolve.

As the battle raged on, Ada finally reached her father. She circled around him, sizing him up. Eldrin looked at

her and said, "If only you could see what I was trying to do, what I was trying to protect you from."

Ada snapped back, her voice filled with fury, "So your way of protecting me was leaving me for dead?!"

Eldrin's face hardened. "You don't understand what I was protecting you from, Ada!"

Her anger, nearly at its breaking point, erupted. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE! YOU'VE TURNED ALDRON

AGAINST YOU, AND EVEN YOUR OWN DAUGHTER! HOW... HOW COULD YOU EVEN STAND YOURSELF?!"

Eldrin lowered his gaze, feeling the weight of her words. He then muttered, "There is a greater threat, Ada! I

was trying to protect you and Aldron from it!"

Ada's anger overtook her completely. "Well, now you don't even have a daughter!"

Eldrin drew his sword, his voice cold. "You were never my daughter."

Those words struck Ada like a knife, and her rage flared even hotter. She let out a furious roar, charging at

him. Their swords clashed with a violent impact, both of them staring into each other's eyes with such

intense anger that it even caught the attention of their armies.

As they continued to clash, Eldrin finally landed a solid blow on Ada, knocking the breath out of her. "Auagh!"

she gasped, taking a punch to the gut. She quickly countered with a punch of her own, and Eldrin grunted in

  pain, "Auagh!"

Their battle grew so intense that the surrounding armies almost stopped fighting to watch them.

Eldrin began to gain the upper hand. He landed a knee to her stomach, sending her flying into the air. Then,

he appeared behind her and slammed her into the ground. Ada gasped in pain, losing all the air in her lungs.

Slowly, she struggled to get back up and looked straight at him. He smirked and said, "Just like your mother

  persistent, but weak."

Ada seethed in anger, her fists tightening. Eldrin continued, "If it wasn't for her persistence, she wouldn't

have..." He suddenly stopped, realizing he almost revealed that he had killed his own wife-Ada's mother.

Then Ada looked at Eldrin and said, her voice full of anger, "What... what were you about to say about her?!"

Eldrin realized he had messed up. He knew this was going to push Ada over the edge. He then said softly, "I...

  I killed her."

Ada's world shattered as anger completely overtook her. The ground beneath her shook with her fury, and

her arms and legs trembled. With an angry breath, she said, "You... you took everything from me-MY LIFE...

  MY MOM!"

She tilted her head back, rage filling her eyes. Fire shot from them, and a purple aura began to form around

her. Her hair slowly changed to purple. "And I'm going to make you PAYYYYYYYYY!" she screamed.

She charged at him with blinding speed-speed no one had seen before. She began to completely overpower

Eldrin. He screamed, "WHAT?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!" As he tried to fight back, it was futile. Her anger

and speed were too much for him. She landed hard blows on him.

Ada kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying upward. Her speed made it seem like she had simply

appeared. She grabbed him by his face and flew down, both of them screaming-except for Eldrin, whose

scream was one of fear. She slammed him into the ground, dragging him across it, then threw him toward a

rock. Eldrin crashed into the rock

Eldrin fell to his knees right in front of Ada. Tears streamed down his face as he said, "I'm so sorry, Ada. I... I

  failed you as a father."

Suddenly, Ada snapped, "Don't try to make me feel sorry for what you did to me! You took my life-and even

  Mom's!"

Eldrin knew there was nothing else to say. Ada struggled, trying to end it, to drive her sword through his

heart, but she finally did. Watching his body fall to the ground sent Ada into shock. She collapsed right there.

A couple of the men from Barin came running over to help her up. They finally managed to get her to her

feet, dragging her to a rock and laying her against it.

Exhausted from the amount of energy she had exerted, Ada just layed there

After a bit, Ada regained her energy. She slowly got up, still feeling some pain from the battle against her

father. She walked back to her kingdom, Velenor, and sat on her throne, waiting for the next challenge to

  come.
