The morning sun became afternoon as it reached the middle of the sky, and Gabriel still slept. Rose looked at him and shook her head.
Max, Zack and Hunter came in with freshly caught meat.
Hunter dropped what he carried and walked back through the entrance. Zack followed him.
Max folded his arms and smiled.
Rose looked at the secret entrance. "How is Hunter adjusting?"

"He's adjusting well." Max turned his gaze to Gabriel. "Damn! Still asleep, huh?"
"He stayed up all night, he only got two hours of sleep."
Max chuckled. "Must be because of Hunter..."
Rose looked at him sternly and folded her arms. "Why did you let him in? Don't you remember his history? He's a threat!"
"Yeah, but he needed our help. He just needs a place to stay, there's nothing wrong with that, right?"
Rose sighed. "Yes, but I don't think this is the way to go." Suddenly, she can hear her brother stir. Both her and Max looked in his direction.
"Mornin' sunshine!" Max teased.
"Very funny..." Gabriel mumbled.
"How did you sleep?" Rose wondered.
"Like a rock..."
"Need me to make you some tea?" Rose asked him.
"Nah, I'll go for a swim instead."
Rose nodded in acceptance.
