“I am beyond the mortal filth you dared to offer me. The Heavenly Sage realm, nothing more than insects in the grand scheme of things. I have seen the stars and the void beyond them. Many moons, colored differently and in various sizes and shapes. Walked upon lands no being had ever set foot in. I had hoped to have met a kindred spirit, but am sorely disappointed. You are no tea connoisseur as you promised! A child playing with mud!”
Yin Hu waved his hand. The kettle and cup filled with tea disappeared back into his spacial bag. There was no way he would let them drink some of his. Not after the war crime they committed. Who the hell made tea that bad? It shouldn’t even be possible.
They can lick rocks! First they mess with my food and now they mess with my tea?! What’s left? Desserts and ice cream cake no longer sweet?
He huffed and forced himself to sit back down. This was Shui’s and Jun’s moment of development and growth. Not his time for tea crime retributions. That could come later. Maybe teach them a lesson or two about how to brew proper tea and the subtle intricacies with it. Mainly to use worthwhile ingredients.
It only made him more furious after all the large mouthful words YagWan had used to shower his tea making skills with praise. Heavenly Sage tea leaves. Cultivated in the mountains of somewhere on something special among Qi storms and Dao reckonings. Whatever that was supposed to be.
It didn’t help that he now started to doubt Shui’s potential and agree with the Compendiums assessment of it being the very lowest tier of anything worthy of looking at. Maybe the book was being generous with its assessment.
Shui, on the other hand, would need more resources than he expected.
Necessary to boost her Spiritual Roots and future potential. Especially if she was supposed to be a proper good nuke. Daily he was learning more. His perspective being broken and readjusted to what was good and what was bad. It didn’t help that cultivators had the tendency to name everything they touched with incredible names even if they were nothing but trash.
Jun was a different matter altogether. Her Spiritual Roots were even lower than Shui’s by a number of realms. How many exactly, he wasn’t sure. But it was at least one. Assuming there was a big gap between the two only made her situation worse.
He would need to give them more attention and be more involved in their development.
Maybe the filth YagWan called tea had come with a benefit.
He shook his head.
YagWan had, at some point, returned to sit on his own chair. Trembling in embarrassment. He couldn’t blame the old fool for it. Yin Hu would have been mortified himself if he had been on the other side of this situation. Talking all that hot stuff. Only to be lower than the lowest tier.
He checked with his system just in case YagWan was lying.
An ordinary kettle filled with tea.

Heavenly Sage Realm Mountainous Blossom Peach Rose Tea. Cultivated upon Mount—
“S-Senior…?” YagWan said.
Yin Hu raised his hand. Too disappointed to start a conversation with him. It would only lead to more heartache and further more letdowns. Of which a plethora seemed to follow him. No Koi Fish stir fries, tacos, burgers, and grilled over the campfire. No drinking tea with someone that faced a similar path to him in the ways of rearing disciples and developing them.

All he had right now was to hope the girls gave him a good showing. Letting him preen as the superior ancestor and master. He needed them to win. But doubted it would be possible considering they were so much younger than the adults they faced currently.
But he had done what he could to facilitate the situation.
Prepared Jun by not allowing them to introduce themselves, hence taking the first steps in overcoming her phobia of brands and big names. And finally gave Shui a proper weapon. One that would protect her more than it would be used just to kill and murder other people. It would be a good test for both of them.
“Jun,” He said, unable to hide the disappointment from his voice. “You may begin.”
“S-Senior, please! Give my disciple a chance!” YagWan jumped out of his chair and onto his knees. “They can’t breathe!”
“Breathe? What do they need to breathe for?”
YagWan paled as he fell back to his behind. Crawling away from Yin Hu and the table he was sitting at and directly into the shattered pieces of the cup he threw. The liquid still steaming hot, ceramic sharp. But the old man did not feel anything at all.
He doubted he took any damage at all.
Fuck. Maybe I overdid it. The old man is about to have a heart attack. I need them to last to train Shui and Jun!
“Go ahead. Breathe! I am magnanimous, after all.”
Yin Hu refused to break out of character. Even if he had no clue what the old man was raving about. Again proving that cultivators had overactive imaginations and tended to fall face first for his persona. With no cause or proper understanding.
It was how he started separating between mortals and cultivators.
The mortal spider assassin, well endowed, ladies had not been able to hallucinate about his strength level. Mostly because they weren’t cultivators! But YagWan was. Clearly an old wily fox of a cultivator with two ferocious looking disciples. Exactly what he expected form an odd sect or clan.
YagWan started babbling about gratitude and a plethora of other things he ignored. More focused on Jun. How she was taking everything so far. And whether or not she had fallen for the potential branding and big name potential of her opponent. The lanky one.
He nodded to her. Proud that she stood stronger than previously against the spider ladies. Stance firm. Sword prepared for a battle and ready to protect and defend herself.
Jun preened at his unsaid praise. Smile widening and back straightening more than usual.
Yin Hu smiled at the new thing he discovered. Jun reacted well to positive reinforcement tactics, of which he could use a ton. Pile them on without doing too much. A good word here. A supportive hand there. Another one during a moment of weakness to keep her strong.
Her opponent got into his own stance. Holding a basic looking Jian. Only thing that marked it anything better than average was a long tassel of red fluttering in the abrupt comfortable breeze. Not that the lanky fool didn’t tremble some.
YagWan must not have worked out the poor guy's mental weaknesses yet.
Might be too late if they are so old. Some things are harder to change if you get to a certain age supposedly.
He shook his head as the spar started.
Jun lunged forward before her opponent could attack first. Beating him by a single step. They clashed in the middle. Jun dancing around him. He struck wildly and very wide arcs that she dodged with ease. Ducking under some, twirling past another, jumping over the next. All without missing a beat and without wasting a step.
He reminded Yin Hu of the old Jun. How ridiculous her supposed ancestor’s super awesome techniques were meant to look. Unnecessary flourish. Filled with a ton of openings an intelligent foe could take advantage of. Weakness that would lead to their deaths.
Jun jumped back a few times to reset. Leaving her lanky foe stunned with eyes wide and mouth agape.
She turned her blade back and forth, unwilling to believe what she had done. Equally as surprised as he was. Eventually her eyes trailed back to him. Bowing deeply before turning back to her foe and starting all over again.
This time she didn’t stay only on the defensive. Speeding up faster and faster. Until he could no longer keep up with and forcing the older man into the defensive. Struggling to keep her blade from nicking and scratching him.
“Unbelievable,” YagWan said as he stood up. “I can barely keep up with her without using my Dao. And so young too. A testament to your teachings, Senior.”
Barely keep up?
Yin Hu was convinced that this YagWan was a master manipulator and master of his overpowering technique of a fake persona. The old man could not hide from his eyes. A bullshitter could smell a fellow bullshitter from a mile away. YagWan was trying to butter his disciple up and indirectly butter him up.
That had to be the case.
Both Jun and the lanky man moved with intent and purpose. Not with speed though. If anything they were ridiculously slow. But what could he expect, especially when they weren’t at his level physically. None of them were the ridiculous cultivator monsters he was trying his best to keep hidden from.
His strength, physical attributes, and weapons were enough to dominate the lower levels.
Maybe up to a rank lower than the Gang Boss if he had to guess.

Power Scaling for the casual reader -
Done by the wonderful -
Part 1-
[Im gonna do a rough powerscaling for james, and the only true feat we have for james is that tree punch.
Using all of his strength he summond a cosmic Being with two galactic clusters for eyes, and a avarage galactic cluster has around 100 to 1000 galaxies.
So im going to say 100 for a low ball. So James punch that tree with enough power to summon that being so it's basic sense to say that James can destroy 200 galaxies at full power.
And james probably got stronger aswell and his dragons got stronger by bonding with him.
And there's the true ancestor who probably got "god slaying" power while probably only can destroy like a mountain range or a high ball country level.
And jame's weakest dragon can just blink and destroy a couple of galaxies with ease.]
Part 2 -
[If the names of his weapons are true and he has a lot of universe destroying weapons just sitting in his rice bag.
Then i have undersold him by only putting him at multi galaxy busting strengh. he's is multiversel and his six dragons which are stronger then any other of his summons/weapons are also multiversel.
Aswell james dosen't even need spells to summon wind or water. He can just tell reality "i want lightning to blast that guy" and it will follow his command.]
Part 3 -
[I was gonna comment that the system was not allowing james to use QI.
But god damn i didn't expect that the planet Doesn't have enough QI at all to power his attacks.
Also reading your comment it seems like there's a system in reality. That locks worlds to a single power system. I wonder does other worlds/universes know about james. Because im now just thinking of a fantasy worlds grand mage using all their magical power to see the true ruler of reality.
And see's james shadow "sealed" in his pocket universe, until the system bitch slaps the dust particle to insanity. Because the system dosen't want James to notice the Dust particle, so he won't blink a couple of multiverses out of reality.]
