Present Day...
Two agents of MI5 exited the organisation and went along the paths of London, discussing their predicament.
“So it seems that MI18 has entered the game.”
“Indeed. I have a feeling that this is going to be a slaughter. If they get through, Pulvis is done for.”
“What about the double agent?”
“How are you so sure that he’s a double agent?”
“Come on, no one wanders about there without good reason. He may be good, but he’s not perfect. No one in their right mind would quit MI18 just like that.” He snapped his fingers. “Not even Ellis' blood money can replace his benefits.”
The agent nodded. “She needs to know. We can't let him spread any more information to either organisation.”
“So it is settled then.”
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The two double agents stood outside a pair of double doors and one of them knocked on it.
“Enter.” Called out the voice of Ellis. The double agent opened one of the doors and they both stepped inside. His friend closed the door behind himself and they both walked up to her. Ellis sat at a long oak table, eating her lunch. She put down her utensils and dabbed her mouth with a napkin. “Well?” She asked them, putting down the napkin in its place. “What news do you have of MI5?”
“They have sent a double agent and he is here right now.” One of them said. Upon hearing the news, Ellis' eyebrows bent themselves in anger.
“You fools, must I do everything myself?” She asked in a disappointed tone.
“There is also something else.” The second agent said. “MI18 is also spying on us.”
Ellis suddenly banged her fist on the table, causing the plate to rattle slightly. She jumped up and pointed at him, her eyes in an unholy fury. “Say that again!” She roared. “Don't fucking bullshit me! MI18 is nothing but an empty building!”
“They exist.” The second agent said, doing his best to show that he was not intimidated. “They specialise in torturing and killing criminals. We haven't been there, but I overheard the chief saying something about MI18 joining the fight against us. We need to prepare.”
Ellis slowly put her hand down and stood still for a couple of seconds, hesitating. She suddenly snapped her hand at them. “Leave me. Go and do whatever it is that you want to, but just leave me.”
Within exactly two seconds, both double agents turned around and exited the room, closing the door behind themselves. Ellis put her hands on her hips and sighed, shaking her head.
