Good day, readers!

  First of all, I would like to thank everyone who followed the story of Chase and Selena. I had fun designing the narrative of the story and I hope you did as well.

  Now, the purpose of this announcement is to inform you that I'll be taking a break after releasing the next arc - the final arc of this volume, which contains around 4 chapters. I'm quite a busy person IRL and right now, I need to focus on my responsibilities.

  However, the future of this web novel is certain and I have every intent to finish this. With that said, let me share you the plans and current progress of future storylines.

  Volume 2: Life with a Lioness

  Now that Chase and Selena are officially together, things should settle down… right? Wrong! This is Selena we are talking about and Chase is struggling to keep up with her antics. Chase will learn that dating a lioness is a full-time job.

  This volume already has a finished final chapter. Key chapters leading to the final confrontation for this volume are already drafted. There are still a lot of missing in-between chapters, thus my decision to take a break as I don't want to force myself to bring a rushed story just to meet my deadlines.

  Volume 3: War Against the Demon Army

  As their world faces an extinction level threat, Chase and Selena will fight to secure a future not just for themselves but for all the people behind them. They will also discover that there is more to the infestation than what they initially thought.

  This volume isn't originally going to exist as I can't see how this story can be told without making it purely a spectacle display of power... until recently. This too, has a finished final chapter and epilogues are already done. But every other chapters leading to the final battle still doesn't exist as of this moment.
