Nero arrived at the stadium, but it was completely empty. There were signs of some destruction, but no one was there. Confused, he quickly tried to contact the 3rd elder.
“We’ve all returned to E.M-182,” the elder responded.
Nero frowned. “What happened to the tournament?”
“It’s already over,” the elder said. “I’ll explain everything later.”
Nero sighed, glancing at Nini. “Alright. I have Nini with me, by the way.”
The elder’s voice brightened. “That’s great news.”
Without wasting time, Nero set off for E.M-182, bringing Nini along.
On E.M-182, confusion filled the air. Everyone was talking about the masked man who had mentioned Nero.
Roi finally stepped forward and addressed the 3rd elder. “With all due respect, I have a question.”
The elder nodded. “Go ahead.”
Roi hesitated, then asked, “Are you hiding something from us?”
The elder raised an eyebrow. “What makes you think that?”
Roi took a deep breath. “When you heard about Sine, you looked shocked, but not like the others. Your reaction was different, like you already knew.”
The room fell silent.
Thaigo frowned. “How dare you question the elders?”
Uro said by defending Roi. “His instincts were never wrong.”
When Nero and Nini arrived at E.M-182, the 3rd elder’s eyes filled with tears. He was so happy to see Nini that he couldn’t hold back his emotions. Even Nini seemed a little overwhelmed.
Meanwhile, Uro watched Roi closely and noticed something—Roi was trying to avoid Nini’s gaze, almost as if he was hiding from her.
Then, without saying a word, Roi turned and left the hall.
Uro followed him.
Nero saw everything. He knew something was going on. But for now, he decided to stay.
Nero turned to the Elder, his voice steady but firm. “I need to speak with you in private. I have information about Neon.”
Meanwhile, Uro placed a reassuring hand on Roi’s shoulder. “You need to let go of the past, Roi. It’s time to move on.”
Roi shook his head. “I just can’t.”
Uro sighed. “At least try to act normal around her—like nothing ever happened.”
Roi’s eyes darkened. “How can I? I wanted to build a life with her. I love her.”
Uro exhaled deeply. “Maybe she’s forgotten. It’s been too many years. And even if she remembers… I believe she’ll forgive you.”

Roi clenched his fists. “I don’t think so.”
Uro, watching the exchange, finally spoke. “Roi, don’t be so weak-minded. You are one of the smartest beings in the multiverse, and yet you’re letting a girl consume your thoughts?”
Roi shot him a glare. “You wouldn’t understand, Uro. You’ve never loved anyone.”
Uro remained silent, choosing to walk away and leave Roi with his thoughts.
As he left, Roi whispered, “Thank you… for being my friend.”
Nero sat in stillness, staring into the vast emptiness of space, his thoughts clouded with unease.
The Elder watched him carefully. “Something is troubling you. Speak.”
Nero met his gaze. “I met someone at my house. He gave me critical information.”
The Elder’s expression hardened. “What information?”
Nero took a deep breath. “The man who was trying to acquire plasma… he was conducting experiments—on people. Across the entire universe. But for some reason he stopped”
The Elder’s eyes widened. “What?! That’s madness! Do you know why he stop?”
Nero’s voice dropped. “I don’t know. But there’s more. During those experiments… one of our own elders was helping him.”
A heavy silence fell between them. The Elder’s face paled. “That’s impossible! Elders are bound by sacred vows—loyalty to the gods of power is absolute.”
Nero’s expression was grim. “Yes… but someone betrayed that vow.”
The Elder’s voice dropped to a whisper, filled with disbelief. “Who told you this?”
Nero hesitated before answering. “He calls himself ‘Moth.’”
The Elder narrowed his eyes, his jaw tightening. After a long pause, he finally spoke. “This is grave news. I will call a meeting immediately. If an elder is guilty of such treason… they will be executed without hesitation. And the entire universe will witness their fall.”
Planet Diktor
The tension in the grand hall was palpable. Queen narrowed his eyes, his voice sharp as a blade. "What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.
Denver, a seasoned warrior from Group 5, scoffed. "This is nonsense. We all know our elders. There's no way one of them would betray us like that."
Yale, another warrior, hesitated. "I want to believe that too, Denver… but the evidence is . Someone from our own ranks—an elder—helped Neon with his experiments."
A silence fell over the room. The weight of those words was suffocating.
Planet Lioux
PQ clenched his fists. "Who could it be?" he asked, his voice filled with suspicion.
Zedd exhaled sharply. "What I don’t get is… why is the 3rd Elder putting so much trust in this new kid, Nero?"
Yuji’s gaze darkened. "Doubt all you want, but that doesn’t mean Nero is lying."
Rory crossed his arms. "So what do we do now?"
Yuji’s response was cold and calculated. "Nothing. We wait. The truth will reveal itself soon enough."
Earth, E.M - 182
The 3rd Elder stood before them, his voice carrying both authority and urgency. "Roi, Nini, and Thaigo. I have a mission for you."
The three warriors straightened as he continued. "You are to travel to the last known location of Neon. Find out everything you can. No mistakes."
Roi’s brow furrowed. "Viscarios…" he muttered. His throat tightened. "The last sighting of Neon was there… almost a century ago."
The Elder nodded gravely. "Yes. 98 years, to be precise. You leave in one week. Prepare yourselves well."
Uro stepped forward, his voice filled with concern. "Elder, why are you sending Roi? You know he isn’t built for combat against stronger opponents."
The Elder’s expression was unreadable. "I have my reasons. Roi has already scouted the area. There are no high-level threats. And for security, Nini will be with him."
Uro wasn’t convinced. "But—"
"Enough!" the Elder interrupted. "I made my decision. They will be fine."
After the Meeting
Uro found Roi standing alone, staring at the ground, lost in thought.
"You okay with this?" Uro asked.
Roi sighed. "I don’t have a choice, do I?" He hesitated before adding, "I double-checked. No demons. No creatures."
Uro’s gaze sharpened. "What about Nini?"
Roi swallowed hard. "I… don’t know. Maybe I’ll apologize to her."
Uro’s jaw clenched. "That’s a bad idea." He lowered his voice, his tone dark and foreboding. "Listen to me, Roi. Don’t get distracted. Don’t let emotions cloud your judgment. Focus on the mission first."
Roi exhaled deeply. "Yeah… and Uro?"
"What?"
"Thanks."
Uro rolled his eyes and smirked. "Shut the fuck up."
Roi laughed. "Everything is prepared, and it's finally the time to go."
