IV: Tyrell

I see an older woman in the distance tending to her wounds. She is weak which means I can kill her more easily.

  I need her life.

Why am I craving for more lives? I already have the most out of everyone here.

I look at my weapon, a sharp piece of wood. More likely to knock someone out than kill them.

  Eh, I'll try anyway.

I sneak up behind her as she's using water and a torn piece of her clothing to tend to the gash on her leg.

I knock her on the head. She becomes unconscious. I see her lying on the ground. Her fourth ring disappears off her arm. And my seventh appears. I see her eyes flutter open. She's fully healed. I jolt out slightly skipping as I go. I look at my arm.

  My first kill

  I feel so lively

  I need more

I pass by two young men cheering as I escape. I can't help but notice the abundance of resources they have. I look up at the sun. It's not even midday and they have enough resources for a small village. I walk over trying to look confident, not desperate.

“Hello, fellow gentlemen,” the two young men turn to me. I look down at their arms. The one on the right has one life, the other has two.

“Hello sir,” the one on the right says, “can we help you?”

“I thought we could do a trade,” I point to my arm and their eyes light up.

“What would you like sir?” The one on the left says in pure desperation.

“Well, actually I was wondering first how did you get so low on lives?” The young men point at the dead bear.

“We started at three lives each but that thing came along and destroyed us.”

“Ahh, I see,” I look at the bear. I want it. The head would look so fine on my head like a crown. “How about we become a team of the three of us? And when it comes to desperation I can provide lives,” I put my hand on their shoulders, and I turn them around so we are facing the same direction. I put each of my arms around their shoulders and we look into the distance where the unalive bear lays, “and you two can provide resources.”

“Um, okay sir, that sounds good.”

“Wonderful, I found a cave not too far from here. We can transport our stuff over there and it will provide nice protection away from everyone else.”
