Prelude: The Wolf clans failed rebellion

"Come out of your hiding chamber, emperor of shit!" Adalbert screams at the top of his lungs. The sudden small-scale rebellion by the wolf clan inside the Empire soon enveloped the capital in flames, leaving the Emperor with no other choice but to fight his own people.

The Wolf Clan was far from the most influential in the Empire. Still, they had access to valuable warriors and magical technologies no other clans could replicate, making them the powerhouses of the Empire. Lately, they'd had enough of the Emperor's taxes. Even in this fantasy world, taxation without proper representation leads to war.

Thus, while the Emperor spent most of his time putting down rebellions, this one hit the closest to home as the Wolf clan stormed the capital city, the precious city that carried the name of the current ruler's father. The beloved Oriel city is the Empire's capital and is the Emperor's house.

"Traitors! How dare you storm the Palatium!" The main general of the city defenses found himself now cornered along with his men around the Capital palace, flanked on all sides. The execution of the Wolf clan had been clean so far, so the reaction of the forces was nothing but excellent, and yet they were trapped.

"It's not too late for you to join us, Andreus! Aren't you tired of the kid's incompetence!? He is clearly not cut out to be a ruler! He's too careless!" The main wolf clan leader responds to the cornered Imperial troops, who slowly retreat up the Palatium stairs, waiting for a miracle or directions on what to do.

"Who are you to judge how the Emperor rules!? He is still the ruler of this land, and I would be dammed if I dared to rebel! CHARGE!" The Imperial troops finally stopped retreating for once, finally standing their ground at the stairs of the Palatium. Still, even then, there were too many attackers, and only a couple hundred guards could stop them forever as they all started to go down like flies.

"Don't fall back, men! Defend the capital with your lives!" The general himself tries his damn best to hold the rebel troops back. Still, nothing works as he is slowly but surely injured by the immense number of rebels, making him fall back multiple times more until there's only a handful of Imperial guards left from thousands.

In what felt like an instant for almost anyone, a cold breeze soon befalls everything around the entire city, all while the doors to the Palatium chamber open up, revealing who had been inside the entire time with it not being the Emperor. The person inside was neither here nor there in a certain sense, as they were more like a paradox than an actual being.

"This intense cold!" "Why is it freezing all of a sudden?" Almost all of the Wolf clan rebels soon noticed the freezing cold coming from within the Palatium's massive doors. The cold was so strong and chilling that it instantly began to put out the fires all over the city in mere seconds, including the rebel torches.

"You dare to call the Emperor 'Incompetent?' You? A bunch of traitors dare question your Majesty's orders?" A grave yet calm voice comes from inside the chamber, which sounds like a male's voice, but not just any male. It is a small one at that, a kid's voice!

"Oh my god! It's so cold! UGH!" The leader of the Wolf clan exclaims as his limbs slowly start getting frostbite just by the mere strenght of the kid's ice powers. The sole presence of the child was strong enough to halt all of the rebel's movements while letting the Imperial troops and everyone innocent around the city scoff free as he could target the cold to a crowd and avoid another just by thinking about it.

"I am sorry, Senator! I've failed you! They took us by surprise; it's all my fault." The general of the Imperial City army falls to his knees, expecting the Senator to be harsh on him. Still, he hardly pays attention as the Senator looks way more angry at the traitors than at the fallen city defenses.

"You did well, Andreus. As to you, Abadon! Leader of the Wolf Clan! I am the Supreme Senator of this city, so let's hear about your case!" The kid says. As the skies turn even darker and the cold gets even worse with the blizzards being so powerful, a small ice wall forms all around the Palatium, trapping all of the Rebels inside with the Senator.

"How the hell!? I heard the crown's power was strong, but is it this strong?" Abaddon's mind goes to a mysterious place, all while the kid who didn't even look past eleven looked down upon everyone. "You can suck my dick, you pretentious prick! Men! ATTACK!" Abadon orders a suicidal order to his men, who would've obeyed, but unfortunately for Abadon, nobody else could move either.

Everyone inside the Senator's spell was already frozen in place, unable to move enough to get even close to the child, who looked displeased at the refusal to take his mercy. "I gave you a chance to defend yourselves before me, and that's what you do with it? Do you all really want to die this badly? Are you all just morons or stupidly brave?"

"AHHHHGG! GODDAMN! Wolf's courage! Defrost engine! UGGGGHH!!" Abadon, in his desperate attempt to break free, soon finds himself frozen completely as the Senator's freeze spell fed off his defrost energy to accelerate his demise. He had basically poured chilled water into a pile of super-frozen ice, forming even more ice.

"Abadon of the Canine faction! I hereby find you guilty of treason! May the rule of law fall upon you!" Abadon's frozen body soon bursts into a thousand pieces at the movement of the kid's hands, leaving thousands of rebels in shock as they all began to freeze like their leader from their feet up.

"Mercy, my lord! We just followed orders!" "Let us redeem ourselves! Mercy! Please!" "My lord! Please!" Hundreds of rebels soon begin to cry out for mercy at the last second while feeling dread and despair as the Senator casts a small yet very visible scale of justice that slowly tilts from one side to the other.

"Is it fair I let them off the hook after killing people from the capital?" The child says, slowly tipping the scale over the guilty again, all while the screaming pleads for mercy to fight back the judgment scale, ultimately delaying the inevitable as the Senator had already made up their mind ages ago. He just wanted to appear to be fair.

"The scale has declared your judgment; you're all found GUILTY! Witness the stars shatter before you!" With those last words, the entire ice dome cracks and falls over all the rebels, crushing them to death, with some of them also shattering into a thousand pieces with the feat.
