Hello.
You're reading this probably because you care about me or this story. That's real cool and I would like to thank you for taking your time to read the work that I produce. To continue this message, I'll condense stuff down.
I feel the work I've been producing is generally going down in quality.
I've been losing motivation for this book and writing has gone from something I look forward too during work to dreading doing during late nights.
Life has gotten much busier and I don't have the time to sustainably continue.
The "planning" I did for this story was very much insufficient.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Due to these factors, I feel that I should put down this story and try something new. This world that I've built for Wyrm In The Brain is something I've spent the better part of a decade thinking and putting together. It was originally supposed to be a D&D like RPG that I would play with my friends. After moving during my school days, I've lost contact with many of my original points of inspiration. I thought that a book could bring out the essence of the world I had been building but I was mistaken. After writing for nearly a year, I've come to understand just how difficult writing a story is.
I don't plan on throwing this world into the trash bin. Instead, I plan on attempting to write a proper story for this world. Now that I know what I've done wrong, I hope that I can do it right.
I'm putting this story on hiatus in case I ever decide that I want to come back to it in the future. While unlikely, I could see myself putting out a chapter or two every month. If you're interested in my work or the world of Wyrm In The Brain, be on the lookout for a new story. I currently haven't even started planning such a story so I can't really say anything about it. Honestly, I really just need a break to get my shit together.
Thank you so much for reading!
