In exchange, he find resources for the other half of the phoenix clan to be immortal. To increased his chances, he went to purchase life and death attribute resources. This would be truly a gamble. "So that's it I don't have to follow the phoenix route I can follow my own route," he thought to himself. He activated them. Instead of becoming stiff, the five elements tempered them becoming stronger. By doing so, his combat power increased dramatically. Usually, a corpse is breed from yin essence. Lu used the opposite. He renamed his technique Supreme Undead Sutra. It combined life and death characteristics with what he called a yang corpse born from the five innate elements in the human body. As long as his qi and blood is active, he can continue this form. Anything related to five elements could hardly hurt him. It was much higher than even alien elements born from it.
