The Demon’s Ultimatum ( part 13 )

Raizo stood tall, golden energy burning around him like a divine flame. Beside him, Tenzir steadied himself, his wounds still fresh, but his spirit unwavering.

The monstrous army that once threatened Earth? Gone.

  The battlefield was silent.

Only Raizo and Tenzir remained, surrounded by the ashes of countless fallen beasts.

Tenzir let out a breath, wiping blood from his lip. "That was… something."

Raizo cracked his knuckles, smirking. "Nothing special. Just warm-up."

  But before they could relax—

A dark presence filled the sky.

The air grew heavy. The ground trembled.

A rift split open, and from it emerged Ryuketsu.

No longer in his chaotic demonic state—he had stabilized. His power had settled into something even more sinister.

He stepped forward, his piercing red eyes locked onto Raizo.

A smirk formed on his lips.

"You’ve proven yourselves," Ryuketsu spoke, his voice echoing through the heavens. "But this battle is far from over."

Raizo’s eyes narrowed. "You’re finally ready to die?"

Ryuketsu chuckled. "Not yet. Not today."

He raised a single clawed finger and pointed it at Raizo.

"For five years, I will give you preparation time. Because I need it too."

  Tenzir’s fists clenched. "You’re bluffing."

  Ryuketsu simply grinned. "Am I?"

He turned away, stepping back into the swirling void.

"Five years. Prepare yourselves. Because when I return… the real war begins."

  And with that—

  He vanished.

The sky cleared. The tension faded.

But both Raizo and Tenzir knew one thing.

  This was only the beginning.
