Chapter 264 — The Beginning Of The Sanctum Order War, You Reap What You Sow (1)

The Beginning Of The Sanctum Order War, You Reap What You Sow (1)

As Fox showed during these 40 days, the spirit of the Lys stabilized. Fox only did to for Vanessa, and he was just running. They knew nothing about him, much less of the inhumane training happening underground, which only Fox's body could follow and tolerate.

ANS has warned the seas for enough time, and Lymoca has been regularizing the safety of their people in silence, still offering some trade between southern Moonblue, Twilight, and Dawn. But this was only a matter of time before it all stopped and Lymoca fended off against ANS alone.

Cors and Preato were notified that they wouldn’t be attacked by ANS, intending to clarify their intentions of ‘stopping tyranny’ from Lymoca’s hands. Furthermore, their people had been nothing but supportive as their politicians spilled one small truth after another of ANS’s state.

Lymoca didn’t react, not even agreeing with the notion. It wasn’t important to them. Would Luis rather have Cors and Preato’s aid? Fully unifying the south to face ANS off? Yes. But since the situation didn’t seem to call for it, and Cors and Preato were their own countries, that was it.

Lymoca would not beg. Not against enemies, neither for allies.

… In his healthroom, Fox read the Ptlyente Records. He was doing squats with bells of processed Mintip tied around his waist. He could barely feel pain now, which meant he could only regenerate and get rid of the pain from now on. It was good, but the torment was welcomed.

Fox wasn’t becoming masochistic. The sensation of his body solidifying after the heinous torture in ANS was clearer to him than it is to his health team. Furthermore, while alcohol was just the same as before, he could now take medicine without embarrassment.

The ‘allergy’ was gone, and so was he immune to poisons, venom, and things such as scalding, scorch/burns, frostbite, electricity, like before; and his held air underwater had surpassed half a day. He could even fall unconscious with massive injuries and he’d be fine.

Fox would just recuperate his body since he wasn’t being treated by either colorful medicine or harsh exercising, so he would heal fast, and thus, recuperate his consciousness sooner. If half a day went by like this, his body could survive without oxygen, even filled with water.

The book was more than halfway done. Fox’s mindset towards it became serious. He didn’t even talk about it to Miros, whenever the boy could come to see him. Nowadays, everyone in PSD could tell their Raging Blood had changed, and that their Butler was becoming old enough.

There was respect for both, nothing diminished this for either of them, but both leader figures’ situations woke all the special agents up. Even the new ones. It has been months since the western Radical Wars ‘temporarily’ stopped, no longer ending due to the current circumstances.

The regions provided countless special agents to Piya Sanctum District, bringing its force to a major degree, which not just Fox, but even Butler didn’t imagine. At least not in his time.

On one hand, Fox held his archaic book. On the bed, there were the reports, many, and of every day, of the District’s movements. They weren’t just positioning in every region to ‘welcome’ the enemy, nor were the northern border and every city of Lymoca watched by them…

Although Raging Blood couldn’t make a move, was bedridden, and helpless to act in these times as of yet, that didn’t mean Piya Sanctum District couldn’t mobilize themselves. Knowing the situation of ANS’s 2 hoogs, elite teams went out of Lymoca to hunt these people.

There was even a ‘notice’ from Lymoca in the secret world to hunt all Lean Shoured and Enigma special agents, whomever they might be, and wherever they are. Lymoca would pay with combat helicopters at the end of the wars, when the world returned to peace.

That was enough to attract as many overseas special agents to kill the rest of those hoogs’ people outside their country. Lymoca’s credibility was high, with Merula, Iztos, and Xeoxia having shown some aesthetically different helicopters of Lymocan technology. Just different colors.

As for protecting those hoogs, Conundrum Gale and Facilitate Epidemic simply didn’t seem to care. They left them out like pariah hyenas in lions’ territories, and the District was more than glad to have them. ANS wouldn’t keep hosting hoogs whose people are now mostly useless.

However, Lian garnered information again, working his ass off for Lymoca like he never did before, while Nauer granted all special agents dedicated all-combat training ranging from the oldest and newest Bloods. PSD was on the move, and it was never this serious.

Every day, Fox received information from Lian’s feats, which made him feel the old man wanted to kick one last time before his legs were pulled altogether. He pushed the notion aside every time, but with every day being the same, Fox couldn’t just not recognize it… and endorsed it.

Furthermore, as per his words, Nala spread the orders to prepare to clean and then hunt the big fishes. The secret world of Lymoca, officially and practically Piya Sanctum District, has seen some movement from TFS and SH throughout the regions. They only dared to look around, as PSD was everywhere and outnumbered them together, unlike before.

Similarly… what they did to their Raging Blood… That was unforgivable. Whether the President allowed it or not, they would have gone at ANS’s hoogs regardless.

It was good. While Fox healed some more, merely at ? of his recuperation according to his health team, PSD would have everything prepared to strike the enemy below and behind. For Fox, however, he should be around ? on the way to a full recovery.

  . . .

12 days passed since ANS warned the rest of Moonblue to clear the waters of Solar Eclipse and Quarter Moon Ocean.

Lymoca has been on high alert ever since then. They missed not a single movement from ANS’s naval forces. The regions were alerted, too. Their people were holed up tight and moved to Cors and Preato if not to Lymoca’s national borders.

While the only 2 other countries in the south wouldn’t join neither Lymoca nor aid any side in the Second Ly-ANS War, they were generous enough to offer shelter to all Lys from the regions in the south. Endesa and Carnge included.

ANS seemed like a recoiled viper, while Lymoca remained above the ground, hidden in the skies and watching the slithery powerhouse until it made its first move. Both were as tense and took their nemesis to heart as the other.

Lymoca was damn sure ANS would attack into both the Lyclan Sea and Ly Ocean. Those were some sweet, round coasts the ANS navy could use, or at least destroy from the sea. But with the missile technology shown before, ANS wouldn’t brainlessly believe themselves to be undefeatable and invincible… that easily against Lymoca anymore.

But while the west was tense and only about to get tenser, the east saw through changes in these almost 2 weeks, only to suffer even more in the upcoming hours.

… Zyckevele annexed Orxa and Pexa, finishing their theater of chasing the remnants of their last government. Furthermore, the northern coalition was similarly defeated, only their governments remained alive and submitted to the Zycks after their presidents and vice presidents were massacred one row after another. There was no more hope. ANS ignored them completely.

Thus, Zyckevele ended its northeastern Radial Wars, it seemed.

However… in south Dawn, a brawl exploded, but not between other countries against KAA. These were countries that have been as neutral as possible until the last days.

Gupi and Gracia stated their standing with Knight Assembly Association, allying with them and declaring war to the anti-KAA coalition from the rear. They were prepared, assaulting the enemy as soon as the declaration went through, with SHC feeling sorrowful at the side, but with hopes that it will all end soon. The Second Ly-ANS War worsened everything for the world’s people…

The Wondu people, which were once slaves to the Wondu Tribe, and internationally recognized as different people due to such tribalism in the SO, rushed into Wondurs. They invaded the land of their ancestors’ nowadays oppressors.

Their military forces were responsible, however they wanted to lash out and take vengeance. Having lived as Safe Haven City’s neighbor and in peace through the Humane Key, they bombarded, destroyed, and took by surprise any Wondurs and Gexi military, air, and naval bases. Regardless of how much they were informed, the KAA allies went aggressively all-out for each objective.

It didn’t take long before Gexi became 70% occupied by the joint force of Gupi and Gracia. Kekkaki, too small and underdeveloped, as well as ignored by the major powers, stayed put and watched the fire go up.

Meanwhile, Gupi and Gexi took the largest cities Wondurs was just about to restore after Raging Blood’s intervention. The civilians there were dispirited, like their hearts were lunged out of their chests as they were once again under the war’s direct conflict and impact.

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.

The joint military forces ordered a curfew before stationing in the largest cities and securing routes from their borders to them while Gexi continued to get smaller. This was the time for Dawn’s past history to make their suffering all that time worth it. They were… recognized now!

It was by power, but they were seen by the world. Their gained territory spoke paragraphs in a small book, while the anti-KAA coalition faced an incoming 2-faced front with sweat, a single one. They remained at the frontlines against KAA, who were just as spirited as 9 months ago, and their fearlessness for bloodiness showed it.

The coalition was in danger, but even then, their soldiers showed all signs of bravery, countless sacrifice, and the desire to still win despite all odds. Unfortunately, the heroic side of history was no longer with them after Gupi and Gracia joined the war.

However, what put the worst situation into Dawn’s cyclone of conflict, fully endangering everything that could have gone better, was the north in the last few hours in the morning.

Without any justification, Emig and Remán declared war on Merula, followed by Pielsart, who was pretty much the uncle puppeteering the brothers to act against Merula. In one single morning, the Merulean people were just counting how many smallish bags of coffee, tea, milk, and flavoring they had left when suddenly, everything shook at their homes and at work.

Bombers descended with destruction over the southeast. Merula wasn’t prepared, simply not expecting Pielsart to pull off such a move. Several of their military bases were struck, but their civilian areas weren’t safe from the indiscriminate bombardments.

In a 3-hour period, the Merulean skies were fought over by fighters and bombers, the enemy’s latter threw everything they had before they were blown off, a new type of suicidal bombing. It cost the Meruleans their heart, fearful to take to the streets, not wanting to be seen by one of the parachuting enemy soldiers, executed on the streets.

Every time another bombing dropped, never only one explosion, the people trembled under their fragile roofs, wishing their fighters were more and faster. But the heart-wrenching shrills, to those who could at least announce their death, reminded everyone it was not the case.

Families, groups of pals, and mere strangers shaking and almost convulsing out of fear, sobbed and peed themselves but didn’t dare to move an inch. The news kept transmitting as only time and their fighters’ response efficiency determined how much hope they could keep in intervals.

In such a deep state of fear, few to none Meruleans used their phones or screens to check information. They only knew Pielsart combined a joint attack and initiated a war against Merula with Emig and Remán.

The people could only shake their heads a little before returning to their dismay.

After the 3-hour period, with the enemy air forces wasted, but theirs crippled, Merula sent the military to inform the people of every city and town. Merula had repelled the enemy, now preparing to defend their territory, and counterattack!

Iztos and Xeoxia had actually joined the hunt in the aerial space of Merula, already having clearance after checking theirs and that of Emig and Remán. However, they were threatened by Pielsart’s coalition, which they acted low until sending their prepared air forces through planning.

Emig and Remán, the only countries in Pielsart’s coalition with sea entrance, sent their naval forces to Xeoxia. Merula left their southeastern coasts to be occupied by the enemy amphibious units but focused on protecting Xeoxia.

Some forces from Pielsart, Emig, and Remán also changed trajectories. It had to be practically planned beforehand, months before this unfolded.

Thus, a large portion of Merula’s southeastern territory was lost by the time the afternoon was ending and the evening commenced, at least in this part of the world.

The center of Merula’s southern borders were heavily turned into a hell, to the level of KAA against their enemy coalition before Raging Blood’s intervention. It was pure hatred and long-lasting disgust put up against hatred and blood thirst for vengeance.

Xeoxia and Iztos focused on defending Merula’s inland southeastern territory and Xeoxia’s coasts and southwestern border. Merula unhesitatingly sent their air forces’ fighters to protect the Xeoxian coastal cities, while Iztos did the same and sent most of their forces to Xeoxia.

Even Merula sent military forces to Xeoxia, while Iztos and Xeoxia sent some to Merula. They were helping each other as much as the foundation of those words and their alliance meant.

Zyckevele could intervene, but also wouldn’t. Protecting KAA from Vevuesta and Queorian was more important. However, they could aid Merula since Pielsart’s coalition heavily violated HLS. The number of buildings they bombed made it so easy to hit hospitals and schools.

Thus, like Lymoca once did, not able to aid this time after ANS declared war on them, which Pielsart’s coalition’s hoogs caught upon so easily, Zyckevele sent Paved Road to assist Merula, Iztos, and Xeoxia. This while still holding their country together and out of foreign hoogs.

What was this? It did not seem like the Radical Wars after all. This was something more, something else… it was worse.

… But not everything had been seen just yet. As soon as night fell, with the southeast suffering from every possible angle now more than ever, exempting only a couple of countries now, the west fell into damnation.

From the Solar Eclipse Ocean, ANS finally moved. Their naval forces, mostly focused on amphibious assaults for invasions, set off and rounded the Lyclan Sea, continuing throughout the Solar Eclipse Ocean.

As they rounded the Lyclan Sea at first, the Ly navies moved out towards the Solar Eclipse Ocean at first before turning to safeguard the southern regions’ waters instead.

Lymoca only had frigates and some destroyers at most, while ANS had everything. As they rounded the Lyclan Ocean, their carriers sent their fighters and bombers to the southern regions. Not just the island regions, but the south as a whole, targeting from Terka to Argopolas.

They rushed, and while their super carriers bringing cargo planes with not only thousands and thousands of soldiers, but tanks and armored cars as well, the Ly navies were slower than ANS to act.

Even then, the number of frigates Lymoca had was simply too industrial and crazed. This was just the navies on the west, which were even only from Lymoca, as the regions were only focused to build their military in the future. This meant they only had their national guard active.

Their national guard was composed of veterans and ex-soldiers from each region, at least from those who did not immediately join Lymoca’s main military forces. When they heard about the incoming ANS vessels, they stared at their seas from every location, waiting for either warplanes or warships to arrive first. Their gulped saliva and nervous sweat showed their trepidation.

The first regions to be struck were Melenon and Terka, followed by Cerka, as ANS cargo planes dropped soldiers and vehicles alike with dexterity and swiftness. They were still sought after by the fighters and anti-aircraft, exploding more than half before they could flee Lymoca’s aerial territory.

Meanwhile, Lymoca faced off the incoming ANS naval forces, drawing them from their direct route to the south. ANS only sent a few carriers and dozens of destroyers accompanied by several cruisers each, while the rest continued to the south, albeit harassed by the Ly navies.

… In Pyot and Meztle Islands, the north and northeastern/western coastal defenses waited in the warm night. The soldiers outside the defensive points watched the seas from the horizon. It was all dark, so they couldn’t see anything.

Occasionally, they glanced at where some people, special agents, stood high above rooftops and cylindrical posts. While the soldiers’ trepidation was evident, the sight of the special agents reminded them of Heavensbane, and thus, of his accomplishments with the military forces.

No matter how unjust they felt to be targeted by ANS as the weakest forces, they couldn’t bring themselves to just grow bold and fearless. ANS has been anything but showy lately, becoming fearsome as soon as they declare war on Lymoca, when everything was just progressing well.

“Whiiiistle~!” Suddenly, a special agent a soldier had just turned to look at from the upper corners of her eyes reacted. Her eyes widened and its contents shrunk before hearing a commander speak to her and every other soldier in the zone’s helmets.

“Northwestern 17th battalion! 30 vessels are coming to you! You are facing a heavy assault, give it your all! For Moonblue! Don’t give your lives until you’ve at least killed 2 of them!” The voice was from an old man standing in the middle of every soldier and defensive position in the zone.

“Yes, sir!!” Most soldiers replied, similar to other zones, which seemed to receive assaults with much lesser intensity. The zone’s soldiers stepped forth, but they hesitated right after. They felt their reply was too short but didn’t know what to follow it with, and they were walking to their most likely deaths. If it had to matter, it would be now.

“Lye!!” A special agent roared roughly. The soldiers’ eyes jumped, widening for moments, before calling out as they marched to their positions, “LYE!”

Their hearts beat with more fervor. The fear in them wasn’t being washed away, but the trembling that would’ve wasted time and simple exercises melted with the heating of their body from the inside to the outside.

Those who felt like a fever was incoming as their sides shook, hearing their comrades’ footsteps and their hands to help carry ammunition storage boxes and projectiles, recuperated, feeling accompanied. The soldiers’ breathing evened out, and their fully opened eyes released the tension they harbored so far religiously.

“Open fire at optimal range!” The commander roared. Every soldier could hear their breaths with their helmets protecting them from the explosions that could momentarily deafen them when blasting near them but not near enough to impact them.

TR- RRRRRR RRRRRR RRRRRRR RRRRRR RRRRR RRRR RRRRRRR!

Pvwang~~, pvwang~~! The first lines of fire opened from the anti-air missiles. Enemy aircraft approached fast, echoing in the cavity of their chests as machine guns fired at them. Already in their defensive positions, the soldiers took cover, but some felt the tremors from the ground.

Immediately after, some explosions went off in-between their defensive areas. Only about 3 5-warplane squadrons flew over their head, with 3 warplanes falling from each, not expecting the rapid and accurate defenses. They returned to their carrier, but while they left, ANS vessels appeared in the coastal defenses’ radars.

TRRRR RRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRR… The big machine guns opened fire, just as they received some from the sea, with the enemy vessels launching 2 missiles upwards. The soldiers heard the enemy naval weaponry’s destruction as their defenses and structures crumbled, the latter easier than the former.

Most soldiers remained behind cover, only sometimes coming out to replace their fallen comrades. The enemy vessels, however, were far too many. As soon as the first missiles launched neared the zone, the anti-air turrets fired at them, but a few managed to slip by and crashed down.

  BOOOOM! Booom, booom, boooom!

“The 14th storage is ablaze! Get there and bring the supplies to safety!” The commander ordered with an enraged voice. The female soldier from before opened her eyes from holding her helmet down the top of her head. That was her area. She stood up without a thought and hung her Esnly rifle behind her right shoulder before running to a bulky building.

It had a lot of projectiles for the missiles launching systems and artillery, which was firing at all times at the incoming, fearsome, deadly enemy vessels. Among medical and food supplies. She went in without hesitation after watching the firepower exchange towards the sea from the corners of her eyes. The commander was also inside, directing everyone while one of his direct subordinates ordered the zone in his stead.
