Chapter 256 — Knight Assembly Associations Stand

  Knight Assembly Association's Stand

For the last couple of days, the Ziacas had lost territory on their southern borders. It wasn't so simple, but they basically 'gifted' the northern side of the other K Tribe nations' borders that used to be shared with KAA. With this, Kunkek took the chance to petition the management of these and enhanced their brutality against the other K Tribe nations. It had become enough for certain events to transmit to the world, dimming the joy from the west a bit.

For this, even Pielsart had to warn Kunkek, as they were nearing their southwestern border, and they were definitely not on the same side. Kakikak, which was the farthest from Kunkek, wasn’t safe from the brutality of this ‘ANS-sided’ K Tribe nation.

Fortunately, if it could be called this way, KAA only allowed for a lengthy occupation of their southern territory. It was practically only their borders, but the already small territory became smaller. It looked bad only for the Ziacas, and favorable for their enemies.

… During this time, the planning with KAA’s people and services were of great results for Fox and for the Ziacas alike. The most important thing to consider was that for every gradual subject, certain conditions had to be met, which had to proceed before concluding their planning.

As such, with the days going, Fox’s plans were further supported in need by KAA, who sacrificed more than their image and reputation to achieve them: their people; among others.

They let the southern extremities of their borders undefended, evacuating every civilian faster than before, and pausing all recruitment, as the latter required training and supply movement.

The enemy coalition immediately took advantage. In less than a week, they advanced so far that they had to behave like meek cats when touching Pielsart’s borders with theirs as a coalition. Of course, the brutality to the other K Tribes only increased as time passed.

In the noble building, Fox had a meeting outside Heart Lake’s section of the building. He explained to the officials and the very Sovereigns themselves, who stood in the general war room, and the HL agents, including other senior and junior members of elite grade.

Until today, the cooperation between Raging Blood and KAA was of at an utmost. It would continue to be like so, partly thanks to Fox’s reputation and Zyckevele’s good word before they even flew to KAA. However, the relations seemed so good between both parties that either side’s leaders believed it wouldn’t be the end of it.

Li Yachi and Jue Soyeon, the senior members that the Supreme Leader regards highly, had been a help for whenever recurring to the neighboring nations’ topography. KAA had been everywhere, and it was no surprise. They weren’t as alerted, but they could answer in time, for whatever that’ is worth.

Tang Wei and Haoran Dongmei were more helpful to Fox, also because they were more free than the others, to express the standard of HL and its limits. There was a bit of pride in Fox’s agents when they were told to instruct the HL agents about some of their methods.

As for Bai Natasha, she was Heart Lake’s Supreme Leader, and there was no sub-leader to speak of, so all matters concerning the nation’s security and its hoog’s responsibilities fell on her. She was busy most of the time and didn’t have that much to spend with Fox, some days only 1 hour per day, through day-long sessions.

Natasha didn’t bother checking Esmeralda for now. It only made sense, having broken a deal with Fox for only after the missions began. Regardless, Fox had to meet her for his plans to proceed, even before they began.

Had they not have this much confidence in his capabilities, none of that would’ve happened. Of course, KAA also needed to act fast. But they chose Fox’s plans over safety first.

Fox could only meet that with a more thorough planning and seriousness, which his little head enjoyed all the time. He couldn’t help it. It was within him to take the lead… to become a leader, perhaps. Nala and Esmeralda were there to support him, but not solely in silence.

Nala was a surprising, active brain for this planning. She also took more time for Fox to keep training Esmeralda as he could. Nonetheless, her views were identical to Fox, so it wasn’t counterproductive. She also became more serious, seamlessly understanding the extension of the following operation and its crucial factor for the war against this enemy western coalition.

Esmeralda had a bit of a reputation by now. From starting gaining her brainstorming fame back at Zyckevele, slowly making her way to make a few calls, she became engrossed from the beginning. Her voice was louder now, and her views were always welcomed after every almost-done planning to make a decision.

In short, she was one of the few whom everyone always wanted to hear whenever a decision was coming to an end. It was no surprise for Fox and Nala, who were well-versed with her marvelous little head since their stay at Terka, when Fox became the first senior minister in the world.

… With the meeting finally ending, it was mid-evening. Fox packed his agents’ work and tools after using them. They were already aware of the whole plan, which Fox wouldn’t have detailed to them if he wasn’t confident that no issues would be presented when showing it to KAA’s leaders.

And indeed, there was no such thing. Now that he was packing everything, only Bai Natasha remained, besides a few lower public workers and military officials walking around, preparing the insanity that Fox presented.

“It seems you are finally leaving,” Natasha looked up at him for a moment and continued storing some things. Her hands were slow, grabbing some documents and folders. Fox looked at her and swung his head a bit. He said, “You seem elated to no longer see those PR elites.”

“Mmm.” She mumbled simply. Fox grabbed his things and turned around, leaving KAA’s general war room. Natasha’s voice sounded just as he began stepping towards the exit, “Good luck, Fox.”

Fox momentarily halted and nodded a couple of times without turning his head before continuing. Just as he was heading to the residential section of the building, Fox was approached by Kusmina, Nikitina, and Lean. The latter waved and greeted him before walking together, “Fox, a moment please.”

“Do you wanna be good friends?” Fox looked at him from the side. Lean was further startled by those polycoria eyes. He shook his head to wake up before doing so again to answer, “Uh, that’s not what I meant. Fox, about Bai Natasha…”

“No, I won’t recruit her as my mother or grandma. She is very pretty, but I don’t think it could be good enough for my future family.” Fox commented. Kusmina giggled at the side, with Lean becoming speechless again. He shook his head again, “It’s not that. About her— there are circumstances.”

“What you want to talk about?” Fox calmly said, entering the residential districts, where maids and butlers became more present. The atmosphere also turned brighter. Lean lowered his voice a bit, “There is history between her, her past, and Zyckevele. But more so, Paved Road.”

“Past lover?” Fox lightly commented. Nikitina rose her eyebrows, grimacing with a grin as her red hair undulated slightly in the air behind her shoulders. Lean coughed, nearly shocking, “Hells, no! I- ‘senior’ Natasha… where should we talk?”

“I have nothing to hide in our host’s home. Talk if talk. I’m walking with ease here, sub leader.” Fox spoke word by word, slightly lifting his chin and seemingly enjoying the walk. If only there was no one around, he wouldn’t have to pretend to enjoy it.

“…” Lean was a bit hesitant. Kusmina and Nikitina changed their expressions, too. They were evidently pressured about this. Fox had enough, so he stopped wasting time and went ahead, “What is she to all of you? Did she kill the last leader and made a run for it?”

“Well…” Lean blurted, almost coughing up with a scoff. “You’re not wrong. It’s just not that simple. It’s been enough time since then, and while tension is still persistent, we wanted to take this chance to approach her again. We had to complain a lot to KAA for this opportunity.”

“What kind of drama?” Fox asked, looking up after rolling his eyes. His impenetrable black pools turning to 3 on his right and 4 in his left. Kusmina spoke, her eyes low after looking at his strangeness and the flock of white hair in the middle of his head. “She was somewhat of a legendary agent. Much like a Raging Blood in the making.”

Fox stopped moving, realizing something. “You don’t have someone like a Raging Blood. Be it in status or recognized worldwide in the secret world. No one does, in fact. Is that the case, or am I imagining things? If so, why does nobody have ‘their’ Raging Blood?”

Seeing his frown, while Lean remained pensive, Nikitina blinked twice before staring ahead, “There was never a need. After the second Raging Blood’s death, it drew little to no attention anymore. There was also never a need for such… ‘things’.”

“All secret worlds’ organizations focused on the lagj or hoog as a whole. It was never important to have someone become more influential than others. The ‘perspectives’ of being better at every aspect was never a necessity, as I said. It was also never seen as a major difference between a hoog leader and a ‘Raging Blood’. There wasn’t such disparity that seemed out of the ordinary, for the usual standards of a secret organization’s leader, that is.”

“…” Fox nodded a bit. He pondered on the issue. What Nikitina said was true, there wasn’t really ever a grotesque, ginormous difference made because of the Raging Blood. If anything, Piya Sanctum District was prepared, and their Raging Bloods simply knew how to command them and the enemy as well.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Of course, they also missed some points. The first Raging Blood died for his country when it was avoidable. His death set the example for PSD, which only became more solid and determined. Their Bloods were further consolidated, and their heart pumped harder.

As for the enemy, they rejoiced, but then came the second Raging Blood. This one had an even shorter lifespan, but the situation and decisiveness was just as the first. Still, instead of weakening after the 2nd Raging Blood’s fall, PSD became low-key and slowly strengthened.

It felt more of a necessary hero to point at so the ‘people’ would keep their spirit; their morale. But there was another matter. No other special agent ever partook on the decisions and tasks that the Raging Bloods did. Their death sentence was dictated by themselves, no one else.

They also caused the impossible, destroying or halting events that would’ve been disastrous for one or another, especially to their country: Lymoca. What’s more, they had no one to follow or be instructed by. The secret world was so underdeveloped then.

“For quite a few years, the secret world has been all about the special agents working together and moving their secret organization as a whole. It’s a huge-team effort. Sometimes, there are a few figures, like Bai Natasha and-” Nikitina swayed her head gently on and on to this point until Fox interrupted her, softly.

“And Loba.” He said. Kusmina tilted her head to him and blinked with a grin. Nikitina smiled and closed her eyes before nodding. Lean finally spoke at this time, “Senior Natasha was a little legend in Paved Road until the previous leader pushed the hoog farther than necessary.”

“He wasn’t abusive to his people, the special agents, but he began seeking to use civilians. Not only from other nations, like the EPA Commonwealth, but Zycks themselves. When many started dying, he advocated a violation of the untold rules to the countries he placed them. Then, massacres either in the north or south of Twilight occurred one after another.”

“Orxa, Pexa, Orcesta, and Fresna had their lagjs massacred and their hoogs weakened a bit. Their hoogs weren’t linked to the government then, but that made them seek such bonds. When the previous leader knew of this, he planned the immediate takeover of those countries.”

“Not… everyone in Zyckevele were against it. As such an important person in Paved Road, acting behind the Zyck government then, Bai Natasha was of utmost need to carry this out, since he lacked full support from the entire Road.” Lean became more uncomfortable as he went.

“Our alliance with KAA still depended a lot on the peacefulness of our nations towards the rest of our supercontinents. Senior Natasha was also from the lineage of a previous Sovereign, dethroned because his children weren’t enough decades before the current generation and her birth.”

“When there was a fallout, and she killed every pro-takeover agents, she fled half-dead to KAA and exposed the Road’s intentions. We were immediately punished by the government, and Makory Kiselyov became our new leader after the previous’s death. Here we are now.”

“My advice,” Fox spoke with his natural, broken and soft voice, sighing in mild frustration afterwards. “Don’t rush it now. Cooperate, keep quiet as you have so far, and then wait for her to move her sight back to Paved Road.”

“Would that-” Lean was interrupted by Fox this time, “No. That won’t bring her anywhere. But you are ‘telling’ me you want to reconnect.”

Fox stopped and stood before them, glaring at the pretty ladies before looking at Lean. “This is her home. Her tasks here aren’t gained because ‘she was a little legend back in Zyckevele’. Her status here doesn’t come only from her capabilities.”

“Let her lead,” Fox said before turning around to face the gates to his agents’ diner. He added as he walked away, “See you in 2 hours.”

Lean, Kusmina, and Nikitina shared a glance after giving Fox’s back a long stare until he stepped into the diner. They expressed their thoughtfulness in silence before making their way to meet with someone. Someone they’ve been not right to for a long time as a hoog.

… PSD and PR wasted no time. Let alone HL, who started preparations for the operation’s multiple missions as soon as the general war room’s meeting ended. The Sovereigns had nothing to say no to, so HL moved as fast as possible under Bai Natasha’s instructions.

For the following hours into and during the night, the coalition of hoogs and elite special agents accumulated to spread throughout both the west and south. Half the inactive HL agents were to move into the entirety of Wondurs, Gexi, and Kunkek.

This time around was no different from what Fox was used to do; distract, seek the enemy leaders, and destroy whatever enemy units there might be. Not even the police would be left out. This was a war, and the enemy was just the enemy.

Besides, Kunkek’s army has been violating numerous HLS regulations with the other K Tribe nations. And as if just to join the fun, the other 2 nations in the coalition participated, even if by a small quantity. They were also from the same coalition, so that was enough.

Raging Blood was on the move.

They set off in stealth planes from KAA’s capital to the nearest military base bordering the enemy’s occupied territory. They were mostly undetected, even if there were a few seconds where the enemy detection systems picked them up.

As soon as the stealth planes with airlift support arrived at the base of each Ziaca military base, the special agents in them at least had medium NUAs fully on their bodies. They boarded armored cars and rushed to the front, where an ambush from special forces was prepared.

The enemy coalition spread far too wide. They didn’t plan for this, but when the opportunity presented itself, they took it. Mere weeks after the eastern Radical Wars began, they had finally rushed into enemy territory and taken their terrain as theirs like Lymoca in the First Ters-Ly War.

Fox led a large group of more than 300 special agents, mostly from Heart Lake. His chosen agents were leading together in a few more groups around Kunkek, Wonders, and even Gexi.

Nala was at Wondurs with her team, while PR elites went to Gexi. The rest of the senior and junior members that Natasha esteems highly were around Kunkek, leading more HL special agents than elite from the 3 hoogs.

The morning hadn’t arrived yet, lights still far from reaching over the horizon, but the enemy started suffering blasting and bullet bursts just as they were enjoying another day. With their heads rested, and their weapons maintained every day, some experienced hearing the buildings where they kept them and made other K Tribe nations’ people repair them all day and night explode.

Others felt it and immediately died with them, but right after, hell descended upon everyone as a mix of close-combat artillery was followed by sharp and precise, swift assaults from all angles.

Trrrrrr- rrrrrrr rrrrrr rrrrr rrrrrr rrrrrrrrr… Ziacas used submachine guns more proficiently and in quantities than most countries. Their mastery of SH, Southern Horizon, was their every force’s mandatory law, untold but as necessary as the call for ‘Lye!’ is for Lys.

They bested the enemy by merely holding Dawn’s SSs, Solstice of the South, and even managed to instill fear in the enemy soldiers who rapidly entered their armored vehicles and tanks. By the time the enemy responded at last, they only had a third sane enough to answer their commands and the special agents rushing past them.

Fox had a few glimpses as the vehicle he was in smoothly went past the enemy’s stronghold at maximum speed. The KAA’s expertise in submachine guns made close combat utterly lethal. It was to the point only entry but experienced-level lagj special agents would be their match.

This was indeed a special force that mastered a category of combat with firearms, and one that would also be major in any naval and amphibious battle. Taking a few sweet notes, Fox looked ahead at the road he had to walk, wondering how Miros and Elega would do at Wondurs.

Miros was this close to becoming a Firster, while Colmillo always alternated between teams, like Fox would do before officially joining Nala’s. Their performance in these days would mean everything for their immediate future prospects.

Because, of course, this operation only had a few days’ limitation to be completed. Otherwise, they would only risk themselves more and more, and achieve less and less once discovered.

… Not even half an hour later, Fox’s units arrived at an enemy stronghold. Before the enemy could begin firing at them, moving through the open grass and into the desert, some drones flew from the vehicles’ side and stealthily hovered above all enemy turrets and defensive positions.

“Begin,” Fox commanded lightly. The HL agents felt their blood boil, but they didn’t make it obvious. Instead, it was the Firsters with Fox that called out, “Lye!”

Vrrrroomm- whistle- BOOM, BOOM BOOM, BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM…!

“AAAH! From above, from abooove!” The enemy was just about to hear their superiors’ word to destroy the enemy, when the Vipers and Insect Snakes began the fight instead.

VROOOOOOM! Suddenly, as if overheating from the core of their engines, the vehicles roared sharply and fearsomely. The enemy behind the walls heard it but were confused, and while they were confused, shadows dashed away from the rushing vehicles going past the maximum level.

This can only be possible with bion equipment, which only special agents from a hoog would recognize right away with the naked eye. In here, these borders far from the frontlines, there were no such hoog agents guarding just some soldiers, as per the coalition’s needs.

CRASH CRASH- BAAAAAAAAAAANG! One after the other, the vehicles exploded with insane, flaming, expansive waves. They weren’t too destructive, but the vehicles did most of the job, breaking into the recently built walls from Courusel machinery. The explosions went off after they weakly penetrated the walls, hitting the inner structure and whoever was behind the walls.

The fire became Fox’s units’ cover, as they surged through it like mist and fog, soaring past the walls and drilling through the vehicles’ holes, even pushing them a bit forward further. They were too heavy and well armored, with their explosions meant to only act as a cover. There were some enemy casualties, but these were unimportant. They would all be exterminated either way.

Wondurs and Gexi might have turned a blind eye to their powerful, resilient ally committing war crimes to other K Tribe nations’ civilians. After all, another’s family problem isn’t one’s family problem. But they once again committed the same mistake that Lymoca’s previous enemies have, which only anti-Zyckevele coalitions limited. Violating the HLS.

This was a ‘key’ Fox loved to use, more than Lymoca did of their Humane Key… And to top that, he wasn’t restrained by anything. He… Fox could go mad as much as he wanted.

Tr rr r r r r rr r r r r- bang bang bang bang bang! It started. The enemy stronghold had been completely lost to their enemy’s hands, but they couldn’t process it yet. The explosions, which were only at the frontline, hellishly ringing nonstop, were now here, too.

The enemy had become scared, and while they still reacted to take a weapon and aim, they were facing special agents.

Special agents with a role to aid their ally. Special agents without restraint to act on their skilled but monstrous minds, and special agents who had a fire of rage and hatred burning in their chests.

As for the enemy turrets that weren’t completely neutralized, the agents took them down with some large pistols’ firing, letting them crash unto the ground. The rest of the enemy soldiers were eliminated before they knew it, leaving none alive. Fox even had a few fortunate Kunkek high officials impaled in the ribs by his ultra nails.
