87 – Specific Training

Leonar blinked several times, unable to take his eyes off the figure before him.

His mind was still trying to process what he was seeing.

Celestia, with her long golden hair cascading like a waterfall down to her waist, shone with a subtle light that highlighted her pale, smooth skin. Her green eyes, vibrant as emeralds, seemed to scrutinize every corner of the world they inhabited.

'So he really can change this place at his whim… it’s a strange place,' Celestia thought as she admired the open training field that had materialized before her.

Meanwhile, Leonar focused on gazing at Celestia’s back, where white wings gracefully spread out, delicate feathers moving with every slight gesture of her body.

She wasn’t flying, but just seeing her standing there, with a white dress billowing around her legs as if defying the laws of physics, was enough to leave Leonar completely mesmerized.

'I wonder what it would feel like to touch them. Would it be like petting a cat… or maybe like stroking a chicken?' he wondered to himself.

And, although Leonar tried not to pay too much attention, the truth was that the size of Celestia’s breasts was…

“What?” Celestia suddenly said, a playful smile curving her lips. She crossed her arms and tilted her head as she looked at Leonar mischievously. “Are you falling in love with me? You know that relationships between humans and angels are forbidden, don’t you?”

Leonar choked on his own saliva, shaking his head in confusion.

“How the hell was I supposed to know that?” he protested, bringing a hand to his face to cover the slight blush that had crept up his cheeks. “Don’t get the wrong idea. Just…”

  “Just, what?”

Celestia tilted her head, her wings trembling slightly as her smile widened. “Are you already falling in love? Or don’t tell me you’re worried that Eleonora might mess something up while she’s in control of your body?”

Leonar clicked his tongue, avoiding looking at her directly.

Even so… Celestia had thrown him a real lifeline!

  “Well, yes, let’s say so.”

Celestia let out a light laugh, covering her lips with her hand.

“But wasn’t it your idea to hand over control so she could go train while you trained here with me?”

Despite the risks, that was the decision Leonar had reached—since it seemed like a good idea given the limitations of choosing between mastering his abilities or improving his physical condition.

  “Yes, I know…”

  Leonar rubbed his neck.

“Well, it’s too late for regrets. Besides, you should focus here. You told me you wanted specific training, didn’t you?”

Why on earth did Celestia’s breasts bounce so much every time she spoke?

Was it a side effect of this world, or was she doing it on purpose?

“All right, all right. Let’s change the subject. Where do we start?” Leonar said, trying to clear his mind of those thoughts.

Celestia’s smile softened as she extended a hand. In front of her, a floating hologram appeared, slowly rotating and displaying figures of various warriors in different combat stances.

“Before we begin, I need to know something important,” Celestia said, her tone growing more serious. “What kind of hero do you want to be?”

Leonar frowned, not quite understanding the question.

  “Be more specific.”

Celestia waved her hand, and the hologram changed. Figures appeared wielding swords, spears, bows, magical staves, and even gauntlets for close combat.

“There are many paths you can follow,” she explained. “Swordsmen, spearmen, archers, mages, whip users, melee fighters… Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, and I can design a training regimen based on what you decide.”

Leonar fell silent, contemplating the figures spinning before him.

The image of a swordsman deftly slicing through enemies was tempting, but…

“I think the most logical path is to become a mage,” Leonar finally murmured. “I still need to learn how to control Eleonora’s powers.”

Besides, Leonar was determined not to lose all the progress he’d made in the few lessons he’d received from the system.

Celestia nodded, satisfied with his answer.

“That makes things easier. Training someone who fights hand-to-hand isn’t the same as training someone who battles from a distance.”

Curiously, Leonar pointed at the hologram.

“But… does that mean I won’t be able to use other blessings?”

“It’s not that you can’t,” Celestia replied, crossing her arms. “But…”

  “But what?”

Leonar raised an eyebrow, suspecting he wasn’t going to like the answer.

“The result would be a disaster,” Celestia said. “Imagine a mage casting devastating spells, then suddenly demanding gauntlets for a finishing blow. Without the proper endurance or physical strength, he could easily end up defeated.”

  Leonar snorted.

“I’m not so stupid as to do that.”

Celestia stifled a laugh, though her lips trembled as she tried to maintain her composure.

“Well, that might be true…” she admitted with a mischievous glint in her eyes. “But still, I recommend you listen to me a lot more from now on. I’m going to give you advice that will keep you from ending up dead because of dumb decisions.”

Leonar glanced at her sideways, a wry smile on his face.

“Listen to you more? I already do—even though you still leave out details about some of the blessings you give me.”

  Celestia frowned.

“Do you really expect me to instantly memorize every single blessing and all their details without making a mistake?”

“I thought you were a celestial angel who has guided heroes for generations to defeat evil and blah blah blah…”

“Huh? I’m an angel, but I wasn’t the one who guided all the heroes,” she replied, a hint of anger in her tone. “Just like you, I can make mistakes while doing my job.”

  This declaration confused Leonar, since…

Wasn’t this no different from what she had told him before?

Despite his doubts, Leonar decided to listen a little longer to see what results he might get from following her recommendations.

“Alright… what training can you give me while Eleonora is wrecking my reputation in the real world?”

Celestia grinned from ear to ear, and her wings spread out majestically.

“Well, about the training you’re about to undergo…” Celestia repeated, a spark of excitement in her voice. “I just hope this place is sturdy enough.”
