Out of all the bugs and glitches Rinaye could experience, this was the worst. The possibility of this bug is the main reason some people don't like full dive technology in the first place. Even the emergency exit built into the machine wasn't working. If she didn't exit the game soon, she might be stuck for days until someone notices she was missing. If no one did...
She might die of dehydration.
Rinaye thought to herself.
One hour later, still nothing.
The ladies from a few hours before came in to check on her in around 30 minute intervals.
Is she crying? Is she asleep? No?
She was getting hungry now. She hadn't had breakfast before entering the game and it had been multiple hours since then. Rinaye was wondering how long it would be until the glycogen in her body would be used for energy. How long would it be until her stores of fat would break down, her insulin levels would drop, her muscles would break down after all other energy sources were depleted, her vital organs like the heart and liver would be damaged, how long would it be until she died.

she thought. I would die of dehydration first!

The door opened up to the hallway and the three women came in, Nina, Sabrina, and the other one whose name Rinaye didn't catch.
"That doctor is so bossy!" Sabrina complained.
"To be fair, we did kinda not feed the baby for over three hours," Nine remarked.
"That was your fault for not reading the instructions the doctor gave you two!" the other one interjected.
"Oh shut it, Edna!" Sabrina shouted.
"Guys... let's just calm down now," Nina quietly spoke.
"Yes, Sabrina. Calm down," Edna retorted with a chortle. "Just give the baby her bottle."
And so, a bottle was stuck into Rinaye's tiny little mouth and out of instinct, she drank.
Thus began Rinaye's new life.
