This Opening Scene has Some Good Graphics

  Everything was dark.

Rinaye could feel warmth surrounding her, it was familiar but strange.

When she opened her eyes as much as she could, all she could see was a reddish glow. All she could feel was wet and squishy walls. She really couldn’t hear anything well and found it hard to breathe. When she opened her mouth nothing eligible came out.

Suddenly, her senses became heightened. She still couldn't see anything, but she could breathe. She could feel herself being wrapped in something warm and comfortable. Then, she heard someone say. "Congratulations, my lady, it’s a girl.”

Rinaye finally managed to force her eyes open, and what she saw was utter confusion. She was being held by someone she didn’t know, the decorations in the room were worth more than her whole life, and she was tiny. But just as suddenly as the light filled her vision, she was thrust into another woman's arms as the room erupted in panic.

  “My lady!” Someone shouted.

“Quickly, get the doctor!!” Another screeched

  “She’s bleeding!”

  “What do we do?”

Rinaye’s now tiny little eyes struggled to follow the gazes of everyone in the room and find the person everyone was concerned about. When she finally saw the woman in medical stirrups, she finally realized what this game’s opening scene was. Her character was just born and her mother was dying.

Rinaye did not get to observe this scene for long because the doctor everyone was calling for burst into the room and told someone to bring the child outside as he treated the mother.

As the doctor instructed, Rinaye was brought into another room across the hall where a small troupe of young women were instructed to care for her.

“Ooh, she’s so tiny! Is it okay for someone like us to hold her?” One asked.

“It should be fine, Nina.” another answered.

“Are you sure?” Nina asked insistently.

“Nina. You worry too much. She’s just a bastard anyway.” The third declared

*Gasp!* “You take that back!” Nina exclaimed to the third.

“You two, calm down!” The second chastised. “We are getting paid to take care of this child, bastard or not.”

“Wait, aren’t babies supposed to cry?” Nina spoke up.

“Yeah, they are, aren't they?” The third answered.

“Of course they cry, Sabrina.” The second responded. “It is strange that she hasn’t yet.”

  is

  “Wah.”

“Wait. Did the baby just ‘wah’?” Sabrina remarked.

“I think she did.” The second responded.

“You know, lets just set her down and not ask questions." Sabrina advised

  “I second this." Nina added

  “... Fine…” The second exasperated.

So the three women left the room with Rinaye in a cradle.

Rinaye waved her tiny baby hands around trying to summon a menu.
