Fumiko and Johnny blasted a lighting-bolt and a fire wave army direction, I quickly knew this would be bad so I countered it by creating a tornado sphere to counter both, but unfortunately, my wind magic caused both attacks to mix and form an explosion that knocked everyone away from each other

  The resulting explosion ignited the grassy fields to set ablaze as fire engulfed the plains.

  Forcing myself back up I unsheathed my katana. “Jeez, do these guys not plan out their own attacks.” I noticed the smog from the fire has blocked out everyone’s visions.

  “Of course we do!” Toda casted several thorny roots wrapped around my hand that held my katana.

  “Ggghh!” Struggling to slice off the vines, I immediately felt several my back got waterboarded. “Jeez! Just what are you guys planning!”

  “This is out plan!” Johnny zoomed to my direction and started bombarding me with a steady current of lightning volts!

  “Here’s to the last hit!” Fumiko leaped past the burning fields and casts a fireball the size of a house and threw it at my direction.

  “Senko! Johnny! You need to stop Stop Fumiko from casting that spell now! The resulting explosion will get scorch everyone here to ashes!” Toda shouted from a far!

  “He’s gonna what!” Senko formed a large water bubble but the surrounding heat weakened the bubble into shrinking. “This can’t be!”

  “They’re all panicked…!? this is my chance…!” channeling every ounce of strength I had, I slashed the thorns to bits before pulling out a couple dozen daggers from my jacket thrown them into the ground as I created a pair of tornadoes in the form of spheres that fit my hands perfectly as I slammed both spheres in the ground blowing everyone and all the fire away, along with the dozen daggers leaving just me and Fumiko.

  “Gagh~ this hurts like hell!” Johnny was blown far away and had daggers embedded his arms, back, and behind his legs!

  That should keep him out of my hair for a bit, Now I gotta take down the remaining three!

  I channeled air beneath my fit and blew me up to face Fumiko’s ball of flames. “Fumiko it’s you and me!” I formed more spheres of wind in my hands preparing to catch the ball head-on when.

  “Gotcha!” Toda summoned more thorny roots which wrapped all over my body mid-air! “Get him now!” Toda shouted as he focused more of his mana to keep me from struggling! Unfortunately for him, this was what I needed.

  “This is a good game Yuuki!” Fumiko finished charging the fireball and threw it at my direction.

  Knowing there isn’t a way to avoid it the best I could do is mitigate whatever damage comes my way. I twirled all over the roots forming a massive ball which I then bursted out of using a tornado drill.

  “Impossible!” Toda summoned more roots trying to impale me however, the tornado drill shredded all of them away! “This can’t be!”

  “Yes, it can!” My hurricane drill sucked him in as I threw more daggers into the hurricane skewering his body in knives and blew him towards a tall tree, causing it to collapse.

  That was one down! Toda, stand proud you were strong!

  “He already beaten Toda!?” Fumiko angrily snapped.

  “Doesn’t matter we can still win!” Senko dashed in my directions and with extreme precision used his water daggers to slash, I tried countering but my katana’s blade got snapped like a twig off its handle, giving senko ample opportunity to start causing deep lacerations all over my body.

  Looking at my health bar, it was draining fast! I needed a counterattack, but I could feel my stamina draining as I lost more blood.

  “Dang it! This was a mistake!” I spat blood out as I stood out limply. “I refuse… to lose….”

  “We already warned you yet you still insisted, this is just the consequences.” Senko merged both daggers into a dual-ended glaive as he dashed attempting to land the finishing blow when.

  “I told you… I told you that I refuse… to lose!” as senko’s glaive got within reach, his glaive started freezing over, but due to the remaining flames they vaporized into steam.

  I felt a new profound energy formed all around my body, looking down on the ground below the grass frozed over and most of the flames were gone.

  “What the fuck!?” Johnny arrived back at the scene. “Thats…!?”

  “He unlocked a new magic…. That’s blizzard magic.”

  “Fuck it let’s all beat him down now!” Johnny rushed at my direction as lighting blades formed in his hands.

  “Oh no you dont!” I slammed my foot on the ground, as ice stopped him dead in his tracks. Allowing me to do this! “I told you I’m winning!” I blasted him in ice and amplified the power with tornado freezing Johnny still.

  “Don’t let him attack further!” Senko shouted and formed a second water glaive and threw it at my face.

  Tilting my head the glaive grazes my cheek as blood splurted out but I still had enough power to win! I threw daggers at Johnny, his knees frosted over and more daggers skewered his joints, his out of the fight.

  “Damn it!” Senko attempted to blast a torrent of water at me when I used the same stream as leverage by freezing it over, “It can’t… no that’s!”

  “You lose!” I leaped off the frozen stream and drop-kicked Senko into the dirt. “Now it’s just you and me… Fumiko.”

  “So be it then!” Fumiko’s blasted a wave of flame at me, all of which I countered with icicles causing a dense mist. “Damn this I’m out of mana!”

  Unfortunately for me, I was really drained too. “Then come at me bro! Let’s finish this once and for all!”

  “Fine by me!” Fumiko shouted just as the mist cleared. “The first person to land a hit wins!” As Fumiko ran at my direction.

  A gunshot was heard, I shot him right in the legs and kicked him on his stomach, knocking him on his ass. I win.

  After that extremely destructive fight… we ended up obliterating a dozen acres of forests, my clash with my four friends had essentially ravaged an entire chunk of the ecosystem, several kilometers of charred trees, a flooded forest, trees obliterated by the speed of our clashes, and causing a massive tundra to form due to my newly awakened blizzard magic.

  Everyone had practically exhausted each other’s stamina, mana, and health, their avatar’s outfits were ravaged in the same vain as the ecosystem we destroyed, and I stood alone as the sole victor!

  “Hahaha… this was too much fun!” Fumiko got up, half of his breastplate was frozen and shattered directly on his body. One of his leg’s bodysuit had burned off and his claymore was shattered and I think I broke his left arm.

  “Jeez, when did Yuuki ever gotten this aggressive and competitive!?” Toda sat up, his cloak got ripped apart and his body had several stab wounds from all the daggers I had thrown and stabbed his way.

  “Ugh, way to break both my legs you sick prick!” Johnny limped over to our location, his rogue outfit’s top was slashed off, exposing his bare torso, his cape was still somewhat on fire and half his mask was cracked.

  “Hahahha… I told you I can take everyone on!” I panted and straightened my dislocated arm.

  “And to top it all off, the guy just had to awaken a brand new magic element mid-fight!” Senko frustratedly laughed as he took off his tattered jacket, and pulled out several daggers i embedded in his shoulder, chest, arms, and abdomen. “Jeez, could you take it easy on stabbing us!?” Senko Grunted as he pulled out a knife I jabbed at his hip.

  “Speaking of stabbing, how the hell do you have so many knives!?” Fumiko pulled a knife out of his butt.

  He was right, I may have gotten too carried away with using the daggers I “borrowed” from the time Haruka-senpai and I hunted an albertosaurus together.

  “I “accidentally” forgot to return them from the time Haruka-senpai and I hunted down an albertosaurus.”

  “And you’re telling me that there is absolutely nothing goin’ on between you two?” Fumiko raised an eyebrow,

  “There is… there’s… I promise you that there is absolutely nothing going on between Haruka-Senpai and I.”

  “Oh! Speaking of something going on! Have you guys heard that the development team of Kyoryu-Online is developing a brand new game based on the game’s engine?” Toda Suggested.

  “They’re making a brand new game?” Both Fumiko and I asked curiously. “Hurry and Spill the beans!”

  “I heard that the game is a Virtual Reality open-world like kyoryu-online, but the new game is set in a modern-day, Urban setting focusing on “Realism,” Toda described in an unsure way.”

  “An urban setting? What else was in the leak?” Johnny asked.

  “Let’s see, the other genre that was tagged in the leak is Life-Sim” or “Social Sim” with an emphasis on “Realism?” it was like the leak itself wasn’t sure of it, that’s all the information I found in the Leak I saw.” Toda explained.

  “An open-world urban setting with social-sim elements sounds very intriguing!” Fumiko pumped himself up. “Maybe it’s like a city life game! That means I get to live my dream of being a fashionable rogue robbing banks and picking up Female NPCS and Players! To date and Marry in Game!!!!” Fumiko leaped in excitement.

  “I think he just want to get pegged by a dominatrix.” Senko joked as he held himself back from laughter.

  “Hey! I do not want to get pegged at all!” Fumiko snapped as his face flushed a bright red.

  “Yes you do.” Johnny rested his arm on Fumiko’s shoulder.

  “Sh- shuddup! I told you that I don’t wanna get pegged! I’m a real man! And a real man enters the hole with his pole! Not take a pole in his hole!”

  Fumiko was truly one of the “Kyoryu-Online players” of all time.

  Then again I’m also excited for this Urban open world game the Kyoryu-Online dev team’s cooking up. I’m curious what they will call the game… maybe sleeping wolves? Gang stars? The godmother? Saint line? Hopefully, more leaks of their upcoming game will come out soon.

  After resting up for a few minutes, The five of us had decided to call it day, and apparently, so much time had passed that it was nearly 3:00 pm.

  “Hey, Senko, I’ll stay logged in for a few more minutes, you can go on ahead.”

  “Suit yourself pal.” Senko gave his thumbs up as he left the game alongside everyone and I was now alone.

  “You can come out now… Diego-san, Unless you want me to blow you out of that rock.”

  “My, my you’ve gotten better at sensing and figuring my location out.” A familiar boy clad in a western outfit vaulted over the large rock followed by a squad of four utahraptors, it was Diego. “I commend your skill.”

  “Cut the crap, I did what you asked for me to do and challenged my friends to all gang up on me and won, so how did I do.”

  Truth be told, when magic was getting added to the game, I received a challenge from Diego-san not too long after he saved me from that allosaurus hunt I did. He said if I could prove my own skill in combat he would leave my friends out of this challenge and only ask for my help.

  “Well Rin-san, I would say you passed with flying colors, Ya even managed to achieve a new magic element mid fight! Just as I expected from the fool who gave my boys trouble.”

  “So do we have a deal? I’ll help take out your stupid organization, in return leave Haruka, Kana, Senko and the other three out of this.”

  “You have my word. And take this for good measure.” Diego-san handed over a pair of magnum revolvers. “Your flimsy handguns aren’t gonna cut it out in this game, take it as a gift.” Diego walked away followed by his utahraptors.

  Upon logging out of the game, I woke up and removed the headset, I saw Kana immersed in her phone, It’s best not to disturb her, It seems like Senko has already turned his console and headset off and went to get a snack at the kitchen,

  “Jeez, I gotta stop lying on the floor when I play kyoryu-online.” I got up to stretch my legs and headed towards the front entrance. “I’m gonna buy food at the convenient store, just text me what you want, it’s my treat,” I spoke loudly as I got out of the house.

  “Aight!!!” Kana responded.

  “Sure.” Senko responded.

  “Alright, now that I had my Kyoryu-online fill for the day, I gotta start planning out, how I should be handling these five dates with Michi-san, If only Hikari-san and Kyouka-Neesan was avail-” I accidentally bumped into something while I was lost in thought. “Ugh, that hurts…” I rubbed my head trying to mitigate the pain.

  “Eh? It’s Yuuki-kun?” a familiar voice was heard.

  Upon looking up it was Haruka-senpai and Toru-senpai.

  “Will you watch where your going? You almost ruined my date’s dress.” Toru scoffed and placed a hand around Haruka-senpai’s waist, pulling her closer to him.

  “Will you cut that off? Don’t mind him Yuuki-kun, Toru-san and I just happened to run into each other here” Haruka-senpai reassured.

  “It’s alright, it was my fault for not looking in the right direction.”

  “Don’t worry about it- h-hey!”

  “Come on, let’s go Sakura-san” Toru suddenly pulled Haruka-senpai as he continued walking off.

  “I- I’ll see you at school Yuuki-kun.” Haruka-senpai waved goodbye.

  “Y-yeah see you…”

  Ugh, I hate that guy so much! What right does he have being that forceful to Haruka-senpai as if she’s a trophy… W- were they actually dating?

  “N- no that can’t be… right.”

  “It’s Frustrating right?” a familiar voice whispered in my ear.

  “W-woah” upon turning around it was Michi-san. “Michi-san?”

  “Hello Rin-kun, it’s been what? two days? Three days since we agreed on your trial dates?” Mich-san said in a rather sly and mischievious tone.

  “It has…” I can’t let her see the anger i was feeling. “w-well I’ll be going now.” I started bolting in the other direction, only for Michi-san to grab me by the shirt.

  “Not so fast! You’re totally jealous that Haruka-Nee is with another man?”

  I could see the sly grin forming on Michi-san’s face and I refuse to let her drive me nuts!

  “I don’t know what you mean, can you please let me go?”

  “Nope~!” Michi wrapped both her arms around my left arm “I won’t let you leave until I interrogate you of your crimes properly!”

  “Eh!? Fine, I’m heading to a convenience store anyway.”

  “Ooo~ I’ll tag along~ you’re gonna treat me right?!”
