Chapter 36: You Cant Beat Him

Chapter Thirty-Six You Can't Beat Him

The black car turned a corner, gliding smoothly into the night, and in an instant, it disappeared from her sight. Snow looked down at the snow-white creature by her feet, which was also staring in the direction of the disappearing car. She crouched down, gently stroking its shiny fur: "Snow White..." Snow called out to it softly, and Snow White's dark, shining eyes turned towards her, as if listening to her words. She smiled, leaning into its ear, "You can't bite him... did you hear that?"

Xiaoxue blinked her eyes quietly, seemingly still waiting for a reason not to let it bite that person. Snow furrowed her eyebrows and then said seriously: "Because you can't beat him!"

Xue Bai immediately let out a soft "Woo" and pounced on her, sticking out his tongue to lick her face. This was also one of his favorite things to do, taking advantage of her whenever possible. Xue Luo burst out laughing and tried to push him away, but he bit down on her mouth instead: "Ah, bad Xue Bai, that hurts!"

Snow White stopped her action and squatted there, staring at her, not daring to make a sound. "You bite me again, I'll get angry! I don't want you anymore!"

She couldn't help but laugh out loud at how obedient he was, and she stood up: "Let's go see if Sister Xuan has finished packing." Xuebai heard this and hurriedly followed her forward.

Mei Ying entered the tea house private room, and Cang Mu was sitting on the tatami mat with his head down, writing something seriously.

This is a Japanese-style teahouse, located in a quiet corner of the bustling city. The wooden room is filled with a warm and hazy atmosphere, and the translucent sliding doors made of Japanese cypress wood seem to filter out all distractions. In this serene environment, the gentle music of Shimizu Shigeru flows softly through the air, instantly calming one's emotions.

Meiying walked to the front of Cangmu, he was still seriously waving his brush without lifting his head to look at her. She looked down at him from a high position and only then realized that he was painting something.

"Arrived?" He spoke up, his voice low and calm.

Mei Ying sat down: "What's up?" Did you have to drag her out at night?

Cang Mu put down his pen and picked up the white paper in front of him, narrowing his eyes to take a look before handing it over to the person opposite him: "Have you seen this?"

Mei Ying's face stiffened as she saw the picture, and she gazed through the paper at the person with a solemn expression on the other side. She quickly lowered her eyes, picked up the teacup in front of her, and took a sip: "Hudie?"

Cang Mu's fingers loosened their grip on the paper, and it floated gently to the ground: "I thought you'd seen it before!" His face was smiling, his sensual lips slightly raised.

"What do you want to know?" She gazed at the painting on the table, stroke by stroke, with smooth lines, as if there was a real butterfly ornament in front of her.

"Is that what you found out?" Cang Mu picked up the teapot and poured tea, but didn't respond to her words, instead asking as if inquiring.

  "Give me three days..."

"No need, two days will be enough..." He reached out to take the tea cup, his movements elegant, and looked up at the person opposite him with a smile, "I believe you!"

Meiying also smiled, reached out and took the paper from the desktop, for the first time, looked so serious: "You've always believed in me, haven't you?"

Her words left him speechless, such a clever and beautiful woman, how could he not be moved? Why wasn't he moved?

He lowered his head and gazed at the small teacup in front of him: "What have you found out about the Tian Dao Gang?" He asked casually, as if just making conversation.

Mei Ying looked at him with a gaze: "There's no movement at all!"

"You just take care of this, and let Qinghe handle the affairs of Tiandao..." He said suddenly without any warning.
