I cut into the green skin as it charges me. It's arm, now cut cleanly at an angle, still punches out at me even with its weapon gone. So far, I've not been hit. Unsurprising, if a tad disappointing.

With a slight back step, and an immediate thrust forward, it's head was cleaved in two. I then cut it off completely. One of my lychguard comes upon the body, and shoots it with his Gauss pistol.

Honestly, I like the things. While the range is not what I would like, it is a new creation. The first is point of fact. A simple thing to make and design, it was refined to perfection in the specifications I delivered.

The power of a rifle in one hand. It still ple-

I dodge back and return to the battlefield. Perhaps I shouldn't be having an inner monolog in a battle, but things were... droll. I had just killed the warboss, and the nobs were now killing everything.

"Finish the battle. It is done." I state. Not a second later, hundreds of warriors teleported to the field. While me and my guard had teleported directly to the warboss for an epic confrontation (snort), the planet was being purged of the greenskin menace, down to their spores. However... maybe I should keep a planet full of the wretched things...

Hmmmm. Something to consider. Weapons testing on organic lifeforms would be good.

As I thought on the prospect, I pulled out my own pistol and began to fire into the disorganized rabble of green flesh. None got close, and soon, all was dust.

A bit later, I teleported to the bridge of the flagship in this system. It had been 10 years from the first mustering of the dynastic army. Luckily, even with the massive losses, 2 of the worlds left were for troop storage. A lucky break.

We have millions of soldiers yet, and countless more Canoptek creations. Speaking of, I needed to get a small dimensional storage. I needed it to fit a Seraptek.

I had heard jokes about necrons and pokeballs from the days of my humanity... it will be amusing. I tap on my leg, slowly walking to my quarters aboard the massive ship.

I have SO many ideas that I've wanted to implement, even during the great war. New ship's, weapon designs, defense platforms, even tanks and the like. I do not understand why technology like plasma guns or the like couldn't be used.

Actually, I do. Gauss tech is fantastic. While penetration on plasma guns and the like is superb, range might be an issue... something to think on.

As I finally get to my quarters, I enter and head to one of my pet projects. I flip through the displays, each showing different things ranging from troop deployment, fleet layout, weapon ideas and more until... ah, there we are.

"You know... maybe this isn't the best use of my time..." I flip back to troop deployments, but... welp, planetary deployment has been successful. Minimal losses... ah, might need to deathmark some nobs on the 79th sector... ya.

Some orders given, I go back to my project. It is a game. A simple one. One of the easiest games to play. Cards. They didn't have cards in the Dynastys, but they had something like mahjong. Good game, that one.

But I wanted cards so with the assistance of a lower cryptek, because I was not wasting the time of one of my high crypteks on something like this, I hade made it. A holo-game. I made the standard deck from memory, as well as uno.

It was going to be amusing to challenge one of my lords, only to inflict a plus 4. Very amusing. But, I could wait. I wanted to meditate for a bit. Center myself and all that. Best not to break down in the middle of a war.
