Dear diary,

  The flyers actually worked!

  When I walked into the club room today Bell was giving a group of people the speech she gave me when I joined.

  Most of them left but two boys stayed to join. Sam and Derek, they’re best friends and have been climbing since they were children.

  I’m glad there’s more members but the club room felt smaller with so many people in it. I guess this is what they call suffering from success?

  Anyway, Jo’s raven torched her bed and set of the fire alarm. There was a firetruck by the dorm when I got back and everything was wet.

  I spent most of the afternoon mopping up and casting repair spells. Not fun.
