Dear diary,

  We got a new student at school today. His name is Bobby. His dad is called the Butcher and he works with Goodman in the procurement department.

  Bobby is a big bully and he doesn't like me for some reason. He does like Poppy a lot thought. He even asked her if she would marry him! I asked him if he knew anything about America and he said that his daddy was from America. Apparently America is a really scary place, they have dragons and capitalism.

  Apparently capitalism is an inescapable force of nature that will suck everything out of you so his daddy hitched a ride with a truck and ended up here.

  It seemed like his family history is really complicated so I stopped listening when he got to the bit about a god given quest to save the world.
