Dear Diary,

  Goodman caught a chicken from the back mountain today. It has three eyes and lays a golden egg whenever it gets startled.

  The eggs aren't actually made out of gold though. Bitsy said it's some sort of mineral in the chicken feed that makes the egg shells look golden.

  A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

  Maybe it was eating golden grubs?

  The chef made the perfect boiled eggs with the golden eggs but they just taste like normal eggs. Goodman was going to make the chicken into soup but he changed his mind because of the free eggs.

  I wonder what three eyed chicken tastes like?

  Surely it's gotta be more delicious than normal chicken.
