Gah. Really wanted to come back with a chapter in hand, but I'm still figuring out how I want to structure chapters and I'm really struggling with this next portion of the story. I would really like to switch to a 4k chapter length, but my style really doesn't seem to support it consistently. The way I envision a lot of scenes require really awkward breaks and that ruins the flow and tension and yada yada yada. I don't want to just give up on it though as it seems the majority would prefer that and as a reader I also prefer longer chaps.

  I've scheduled a chapter for this Friday. Its currently only 2k. Its a sort of a final deadline for myself. If I don't figure out how to work things before then, I'll just accept the 2k chaps and that'll be that.

  Also, the discord is ready-ish. I say that because quite frankly I have no idea how to run a discord, but I think I have all the basics done.
