Chapter 7 – Unchained Madness

  Chapter 7 – Unchained Madness

Baek Taehwan stood tall, sweat rolling down his forehead. His fists were clenched, muscles coiled like a beast ready to pounce. His confidence had wavered, if only for a second.

  Because Kang Jinhyuk—was still standing.

Blood dripped from the corner of Jinhyuk’s lips. His arms trembled slightly from the relentless barrage of attacks. His body screamed in pain.

  Yet his grin only widened.

  Something changed.

The way he stood. The way his shoulders shook slightly—not in exhaustion, but anticipation.

  Something was breaking loose.

His usual sharp, controlled movements? Gone.

  His stance? Unstable. Unpredictable.

  His eyes?

  Wild.

Jinhyuk exhaled sharply, a strange chuckle escaping his lips.

  Then—

  He moved.

Jinhyuk launched himself forward, but not in the clean, precise way he had fought before.

  This was different.

His body twisted, contorted unnaturally mid-motion, his feet barely touching the ground as he lunged at Taehwan like a predator.

Taehwan barely had time to react before—

  CRACK!

Jinhyuk’s fist collided with his face.

  The force wasn’t just strong.

  It was savage.

Taehwan’s head snapped to the side, his vision flashing white. He stumbled, but before he could regain balance—

  THUD!

A knee slammed into his gut.

A strangled gasp left Taehwan’s throat, his body folding.

  And Jinhyuk wasn’t stopping.

He didn’t care for openings. He didn’t care for defense.

  His body moved on instinct.

A wild backhand followed, striking Taehwan’s temple. He spun with the force, using the momentum to hurl another punch straight into Taehwan’s ribs.

  THWACK!

  Bones creaked.

  Taehwan coughed violently, staggering backward.

  ‘What… the hell… is this?!’

Jinhyuk wasn’t fighting like a martial artist anymore.

  He wasn’t following techniques.

  He wasn’t calculating his moves.

  This was raw, unhinged violence.

His fists flew in unpredictable, erratic patterns.

  His movements had no logic.

  And yet—

  They were impossible to read.

Taehwan clenched his jaw, forcing himself to focus.

‘Calm down. Find an opening. His movements are wild, but that means he has gaps.’

  Then, he saw it—

  A small opening.

Jinhyuk’s footwork was uneven. His left side was slightly exposed.

  ‘Now!’

  Taehwan lunged forward.

  BOOM!

A devastating right hook exploded toward Jinhyuk’s exposed side.

  But then—

  Jinhyuk moved.

  No—

  He twisted.

Not in a way that made sense.

His body bent backwards unnaturally, dodging the punch by an inch.

  Taehwan’s fist struck empty air.

And Jinhyuk’s eyes glowed with insanity.

His breath was ragged, his smile—deranged.

  He snarled.

  Then—

His teeth sank into Taehwan’s shoulder.

  Taehwan roared in pain.

  Jinhyuk bit down harder.

Blood filled his mouth, the iron taste fueling something primal inside him.

Then, with a vicious jerk—he tore away.

Taehwan stumbled back, clutching his shoulder in shock.

‘He bit me. HE FUCKING BIT ME!’

  But Jinhyuk?

  He simply laughed.

  Blood dripped from his lips.

His knuckles were cracked, his body battered—

Yet he looked more alive than ever.

  Taehwan trembled slightly.

  Not from pain.

  But from something else.

  Fear.

‘No. I won’t lose like this.’

  With a roar, he charged.

  Jinhyuk met him head-on.

  No hesitation.

  No technique.

  Just brutality.

  BAM!

  A punch to the jaw.

  CRACK!

  A headbutt.

  THWACK!

  An elbow to the ribs.

  Neither of them backed down.

  Neither of them defended.

  They just swung.

  Like animals fighting for survival.

  Blood splattered the ground.

  Teeth were knocked loose.

  Bones cracked.

  And then—

Only one of them remained standing.

  Unmoving.

  Unconscious.

  Jinhyuk?

He stood over him, swaying slightly, bloodied from head to toe.

His breath came in ragged gasps.

  His fists twitched.

  But his eyes—

  Still burned with madness.

  Silence filled the battlefield.

The other students stared in horror.

  This wasn’t normal.

  This wasn’t martial arts.

  This was something else.

Jinhyuk tilted his head, licking the blood from his lips.

Then, he turned his gaze toward the remaining opponents.

And with a grin that sent chills down their spines, he whispered—

  “Next.”
