The man and the cat stare at eachother, and they stare for different reasons.
The man is confused by what he had just done, as this was far from the expected result. The ritual, called forced harmony, was supposed to grant a person power or inspiration, but somehow he summoned a cat?
The cat stares because he wants to see what this guy wants, and also because he wants to ask for slime, but needs to figure out the situation first.
The silence is broken after a few moments by the man, “Can you grant me power? Can you inspire?”
The cat just stares at the man, trying to figure out what his request meant.
The cat is certain of accomplishing the first one, as power is just energy, and the slime from before seemed to give some. However, being unsure about the second one the cat asks, “How would I inspire?”
The man looks at the cat and responds, “hmmm… inspiration is something that helps you figure things out, it helps you create new things and solves problems.”
The cat thinks about it, this is a situation that they haven’t come across before, they are certain of being able to do one thing and not the other. The cat can only complete the request halfway…
The cat jumps in a weird way and exclaims, “I will figure out how to!”
The strange giant just stares at me, his mouth is closed unlike the others when I first saw them.
I start asking him questions to figure out what he wants. At first I was confused by his answers, but now I am determined to find what he needs.

He needs power and inspiration, I already have the power, so I need inspiration.
I tell him “I will figure out how to!”
He says something, but I don’t pay attention, I just ask more questions.
Later
“Where do you find inspiration?” I ask, and he replies this time with a sigh and “I still don’t know, in the mind? I was hoping that you’d have it.”
This had been repeating for the past moments, with me trying to figure out more, this giant is very unhelpful.
Though his response makes me wonder, if I can find out what exactly inspiration is, then maybe I can give it to him?
This is when I suddenly realize something, what am I going to get if I do this? So that’s what I ask.
“What do I get If I help you?”
He looks a little bit confused, but he still gives me an answer, “I don’t know, I thought that I had already given everything needed with the ritual. I can give you money or items that I have.”
I take a moment to think this over, he has things that I may have not ever seen before, perhaps they taste good.
I need to tell him what I want, or else he’ll have no idea, “I want to eat tasty things!”
He looks at me and tells me that he will, and asks me if I have any requests.
I tell him “Slime!” and he has a weird expression on his face.
“Really? Those don’t taste particularly good, would you like something better?”
I look at him with and ask “What?”
The cat looks at the man with curiosity in their little eyes, and the man goes to get some food for the cat.
The cat just watches as he leaves, and then starts to walk around the room, sniffing various objects and slapping them.
The cat eats a couple crystals while the man is gone, one of which causes the cat to glow.
After the man gets back with a few objects in his hands, he looks at the glowing cat and asks, “Why are you glowing?”
The cat just asks in response, “I am?”
The man just sighs and sets down a few different foods in front of the cat.
These foods are a room temperature stew, bread, and some type of jerky.
The man tells the cat to eat these and tell him which one they want. This does not go according to what he expected.
The cat hated all of them, each food was utterly hated by the cat.
At first, the man had just thought that the cat wanted slime because of it being a type of meat, so he tried to see if it wanted meat.
The cat’s dislike for the food perplexed him, so he asks, “what do you eat?”
“What I want to eat” replies the cat, so the man rephrases the question, “what types of things have you eaten?”
The cat spends a minute to think on this, having eating few things they decide just to list all things they have eaten.
“A slime, something like a slime, a rock, another rock, and another rock.”
The man contemplates this and decides to end this conversation, “I’m going to bed”
This leaves the cat sitting on the floor, to do whatever, and cause whatever havoc strange cats cause.
