Cathion and Lymbrian

The Crater was a signal released to assemble the Wisers of Cathion and a land hidden away, Lymbrian. Below Cathion, the great kingdom of the Fae kind was hidden most of the time, unuttered by those who knew. Lymbrian would only be mentioned in the legends among the human folk.

Brightly lit by gems and illuminating stones, Lymbrian resembled a star-scattered night sky with a tinge of fantasy and magic afloat in the air, stunning any beholder at first glance. Cottages and castles littered amidst the beautiful meadows made of Planthers, a species of vines and shrubs that grew in the dark without sunlight, yet flourished, nourished by the energy diffused from the stones that lit the city.

Day and night in Lymbrian were not determined by the sun and moon. Instead, the illuminating stones dimmed to a comforting glow as the night seeped in, and the faeries knew the exact time.

Faeries were quite similar to humans, apart from their eyes that resembled crystals, and streaks of silky hair in the color of their eyes among their luscious black hair. The shining glitter of the same color stretched from their elbows to their wrists, circling lightly before spreading to the tips of their nails in a well crafted tattoo.

The Faes were blessed with magic to control elements and a wide range of specialties, skills they honed through years of practice and patience. Essentially, the Fae kind would begin experiencing different Ordains, starting from Peridot, Garnet, Aquamarine, Sapphire, Amethyst, Jadeite, Pearl, Ruby, and Opal. Each level of Ordain allows Faeries to experience different powers, and the process would halt when a Faerie reached their destined Ordain. For instance, a Garnet Faerie would not advance beyond that; instead, they would start mastering the skills of a Garnet to progress through the levels of Advancement. Thus, despite their easygoing and positive outlooks, Faes can be considered as creatures that wield great levels of power.

Yet, Cathion too did not home just any ordinary humans. Each human would show a particular crest classifying the nature of their powers in the middle of their foreheads for half an hour at birth before disappearing only to reappear when they intend to or while performed certain spells. The main 8 signs are Lumius, Cathent, Vergo, Selph, Remur, Nera, Leph, and Phlor.

A typical human would train with different Cores until they identify the core that blends best with their power. This would highly depend on the individual and the powers of their sign they are capable of manifesting. It is crucial that the cores they train on align with their personalities fundamentally. A core could be anything a weapon, plant, object, element, or even an animal. A talented human could master several cores if they apply enough effort.

While Draegon has been trying a few Cores his training so far was mainly focused on improving his physical strength and Lucieon’s choice on a crossbow for him was rather peculiar considering that he was a Vergo.
