Chapter 1: The Adopted Son

In this boundless universe, many people spend their lives trying to decipher everything they perceive, hoping to unlock the secrets of heaven and earth. However, the vast majority of people exhaust their entire lives, at most only grasping a few hundred words that can drive some mysterious forces roaming in the universe, while the phrase "longevity matching heaven" is just an illusion.

There are also many people who spend their whole lives interpreting the people and things around them, seeking spiritual transcendence, and ultimately earning a reputation as sages in the world.

No matter what kind of person, relative to the entire universe is only a drop in the ocean, even if formed a raging storm will soon subside, into a vast expanse.

In this strange and wonderful world, there are all kinds of living beings, each with a glorious past that can be traced back to the evolution of heaven and earth. Some of the things and people in those pasts have disappeared over time, while others have become legends and myths.

The legends of all living beings gather together, forming a majestic historical torrent that shakes the heavens and earth.

If there is a heavenly court above the nine heavens that governs all the gods and immortals, and within this heavenly court, there is a mirror that shines through the vast universe, then in this mirror, the image of countless living beings coming and going between heaven and earth will be presented. They range from birth to death, from ordinary to glorious. If one looks more closely, perhaps it can be discovered that among these numerous living beings, an old man is walking all over the world, leaving his footprints in famous mountains and great rivers, as well as in dangerous and evil places.

One day, an old man suddenly had a child behind him. The child followed him and grew up slowly until he settled in a city, then they parted ways. The old man remained alone, wandering around the world as if searching for something. The grown-up child was like a drop of water falling into a river, perhaps occasionally stirring up waves in the long river of history.
