At the farmhouse,
"Old master, I have given him sedatives and pain killers as well. It will help him in getting relieved from the pain. But these are severe injuries, it would have been better if we could take him to the hospital. Moreover he has a high fever, sometimes in such cases the patient suffers from seizures. So it would have been better if he could be kept under observation," the doctor suggested, his voice laced with equal worry and empathy for the poor soul laying almost lifeless on the mattress.
"Mr. Nathan, you know very well, that is almost next to impossible. If Mr. and Mrs. Sheikh gets to know that we dared to take Zain out of this prison, then they will make it difficult for all of us to even stay alive. On top of that, he is dead in the eyes of the world, how can we take him out?" Hasan, the butler spoke out his inner thoughts. And both the family Doctor Nathan and the old man could not deny the facts stated in front of them.
Indeed it was next to impossible to take Zain out of this cage when they are under the surveillance of those hawks. Any mistake would cost them their lives.
"Just like how we brought Nathaniel here," suddenly grandpa Abdullah said, for a moment it seemed that he was past caring everything now. And indeed he was. How long even someone can suffer yet stay under the constant fear of losing their lives? Hasan's eyes widened both in shock and in fear as well.
"Master, what are you saying?" Hasan's words came out low, trembling a bit as well. He had no idea what the Master was thinking about. Still after spending so much time with the family, Hasan could not help but feel attached to them, especially to Zain whom he used to adore just as his son. His eyes slowly drifted towards the petite figure. Even in his sleep Zain's facial features clearly indicated how much he was in pain.
Those cruel people beat him this mercilessly just because Zain was hungry and he took out an apple from the fridge by himself. The poor soul could not even finish eating the fruit before this messege was delivered to the devils. And the result was in front of them all. Then what would happen if those monsters even got a whiff about their plans. No, no! How could Hasan let that happen?
"Zain had only eaten a fruit because he didn't get anything to eat since last night. This small disobedience led him almost near the death bed. Those henchmen of Mrs. Sheikh whipped him so ruthlessly. And none of us were even allowed to beg for mercy because that would only multiply this innocent's punishment. Then just think what will they do to him if we take him out of here?" Hasan expressed his thoughts aloud.
Till now Hasan was only worried about taking Zain to the hospital, but what he heard next sent chills down his spine,"I know what I'm saying. And I'm absolutely in my sense. You think if we keep Zain here, he will be safe? Or we will be able to ensure his safety? If we want Zain to live then we need to get him out of this jail by hook or by crook."
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Both Doctor Nathan and Hasan's head snapped towards Grandpa Abdullah, the very moment those words slipped out of his tongue.
"You are not thinking of escaping from here, are you?" Nathan, for the first time in a while, opened his mouth. His tone laced with uncertainty. Grandpa immediately nodded his head at this statement,"I have had enough of everything. I have had enough of waiting and not doing anything. I have had enough of watching my child getting tortured in the most brutal way. Now it’s time for me to do something to protect the only symbol of my daughter. Just because I'm old does not mean I am wretched. People have forgotten what King Abu Bin Abdullah is capable of doing."
"Old master, I don't mean to offend you. But you are well aware that's almost next to impossible, especially when all of you are getting monitored twenty four seven by their pack of bodyguards,"Nathan said feeling helpless, feeling equally miserable for not being able to do anything for Zain.
Grandpa smirked, his eyes shining with a new hope,"Just like you and I are here under their nose and they do not have a whiff about it in the same way, I'm going to take him out of here. I'll not let them do the same to Zain what they had done to my daughter," his last sentence came out as a mere whisper. The pain that he bore in his heart, was also evident in his eyes.
For a moment, silence veiled the room under its mournful clutches,"Hasan, make preparations for us to get out of here,"the next second, Grandpa's domineering voice resonated in the walls of the hushed chamber.
"I really hope that we are not setting him up for more danger in the process of saving him," though Hasan mumbled in his own accord but it was audible for the rest of them to hear.
Grandpa walked near Hasan, patted his shoulder gently,"Have faith in Allah and me as well. The next time they will have to put their hands upon Zain over my dead body. In Sha Allah, will not let another scratch fall on his body again."
Hasan seemed to calm down a little with the assurance from his Master and nodded his head in agreement,"In Sha Allah, I hope the same, Master."
"Now quickly make the arrangements for us to leave from here," Hasan bowed his head before bolting away from the room to make the needed preparations.
"Are you sure, you are ready to take such a big risk? What if they..."
Grandpa shook his head, before Nathan could finish his sentence,"Even the Almighty helps those, who help themselves. So, I need to take this risk. And don't worry, in order to usurp the estates of Manchester and Liverpool, they need to keep Zain alive."
"I didn’t quite get you," Doctor Nathan looked at Grandpa quite confusedly. As Zain was already dead in the eyes of the world, and Zain's cousin Bilal Sheikh was already ruling the kingdoms of Manchester and Liverpool. Then why would they need to keep him alive?
"I'll tell you everything but it's not the right time nor the right place to discuss all these. First let's get out of here," Grandpa instructed and Nathan could not help but agree to it. "Then I shall take my leave first. I'll be waiting for you at our old place," saying Nathan also bowed his head to which Grandpa nodded his head, giving him permission to leave.
As soon as Nathan left, Grandpa let out a shaky breath,"I'm sorry Nathan, but at this moment I can't trust anybody blindly."
With that saying, he took out his phone from his pants pocket before typing a text message. [It’s time to return the favour. Let's meet.] And hit the 'Send' button, the next moment the message was delivered to the number saved as 'AR'.
