  I know some of you might be wondering why I haven't updated chapters in such a long time. I was gone for months without a single update. I apologize. There was a reason for that, I swear.

  My novel got selected to become a Tapas Premium Novel. That's when I stopped publishing on here. However, around that time, I also began putting this series through severl rewrites.

  Taking reader input into account, I started changing certain aspects of the early stories. For example, I made Wu Youshi more intelligent and clan-leader-like. While these changes don't affect the entire plot, they are significant enough that the early story no longer has the same feel.

  The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  I did this mostly because I wanted to make this novel better, but I also wanted to have an improved story to tell readers on Tapas.

  I'm currently debating what to do with the story on here. I'm not sure what I am going to do yet, which is why I'm not posting new chapters. I don't even know how many people are still interested in continuing this story.

  I will understand if that holds no appeal for you. In which case, . I've been writing around 1 chapter a week on there, so the story has actually gotten quite far ahead.

  I'll leave this story up for now while deciding what to do. Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment to everyone who read this story.
