  "Sure but why do you need this many parts?" S asked while pointing at the pile of scrap parts he collected since Lucas requested for the parts.

  "Huh? I swore i already told you did i not?" Lucas responded.

  "You never did...all you said was that it would be something special" S responded,S placed his greatsword against the wall and sat down on the ground.

  "Ah thats my bad then...but i suppose you will see it when it's done!" Lucas said excitedly.

  "...same response as last time" S sighed.

  "Hey come on now don't be like that!" Lucas said.

  "But damn it is hot today..." Lucas said while wiping the sweat off of his face.

  "...your a demon...how can you feel hot???" S questioned.

  "First of all, i am a HALF demon HALF human, Second, i have heat 'resistance' not immunity!" Lucas responded a bit annoyed.

  "And don't act as if you ain't sweating like crazy under that armor of yours!" Lucas said.

  "Fair enough i guess" S responded, he was infact, sweating like crazy under his damaged armor.

  "Oh hey what if: you take me to eat that 'Vertuseka' thing you talked about" Lucas suggested.

  "Hm? You want to eat Vertuseka? just eat the ones they sell here" S responded.

  "Come on mannn you know the fruits and vegetables in Invictus are terriblee" Lucas responded, he was correct, for some odd reason crops like fruits and vegetables taste terrible, so fruits and vegetables would be imported from other Cities but the prices would be expensive, which is why meat would be seen as a poor man's food while veggies and fruits a rich man's food.

  Meat was simple to get, just kill some of the monsters that lurk in the area and cook 'em.

  Invictus is quite large and stunning but the town only took up 9% of the total area of the Cloudbeast's back, so monsters were everywhere.

  S sighed before responding. "Yes i know that but all the Ship stations are closed for like a week because of the nearby tornado remember?"

  "...ah right...that's why you didn't go to Strumsvaha yesterday" Lucas responded,a bit more dissapointed.

  "Yeah that's bassicaly why...Now i'm going to go sleep so don't disturb me" S said tiredly before climbing up the ladder to the second floor.

  "Yeah yeah..."Lucas responded, Although S never told Lucas his real name they are bassicaly best buddies, S even lives with Lucas since it's convenient for him.

  "But man it's really hot...i'll just take a walk" Lucas thought to himself, he prepared to leave and put away all his tools before making his way out of the workshop.

  Lucas left his workshop and took a walk around the town,It was quite average with shops,inns,restaurants,and the ships aswell which were all docked.

  It was a nice town but was also quite boring as nothing really ever happened, So lucas decided he might aswell grab some of the newspaper for any information about the latest technology. He made his way to the plaza and found the person that sold the papers.

  "Yo" Lucas said casually.

  "Ah Lucas i assume your here for any news about technology?" The salesman asked.

  "You know it!" Lucas replied,he reached inside his pockets and held 1 silver coin to pay for the paper.

  "Unfortunately there isn't really anything interesting about technology in the news right now" The salesman said.

  "Alright then here you go" the salesman handed Lucas the newspaper and took the silver coin. Lucas began to read the first page of the news and it was actually quite interesting.

  "Ah you seem interested in the Rise of the Ark crystals here nowadays?" The salesman asked.

  "Well yeah i mean it's suprising to see more Ark crystals being found nowadays..." Lucas responded.

  Ark crystals, these bright blue crystals are an incredibly special crystal that would summon an 'Arken' a powerful weapon that cannot be replicated by current technology, Some Arken's are just straight up weapons while other crystals can potentially summon a companion with a weapon aswell to aid their 'Arkreactor' the one who used the crystal and summoned the Arken.

  Arken's are incredibly powerful as their power is everywhere, the mana that flows in the air is what allows them to use their abilites, of course not that many people have them as they are incredibly rare and because of one more thing.

  "But wouldn't that just create a rise of Arkons aswell?" Lucas asked a bit worriedly.

  "Well...that is true, but that's why militaries are just keeping them in storage for now" the salesman replied.

  'Arkons' If a person tries to use an Ark crystal and fails to summon an Arken, the Arken will take over them, killing the person and letting the crystal take over the body.

  Arkens aren't evil in any way at all, but due to how it was created as weapons for Arks during the great war to eliminate all life, the crystals have a this mechanism to prevent any other race other than the Arks to use them, of course it was soon discovered that you don't need to be an Ark but the requirements are still not clear which is why there is so less Arkreactors.

  "I suppose that makes it less worrying then...not like Many people from here even get the chance to see one of the crystals up close,except for the soldiers of course" Lucas said.

  "Yeah that is true" The salesman responded, Lucas began to read through the rest of the newspaper and it was not that interesting now until one picture suprised him.

  "Hm?" The salesman glanced over at what Lucas was looking at, it was the picture of a lady, She looked absolutely stunning, she had long crimson hair such a pure smile, but for some odd reason her eyes were covered by a cloth. And under her picture was a date...for an execution.

  "Another execution..." the salesman sighed.

  "Huh? Does this happen often?" Lucas asked.

  "Yeah, people have just suddenly been taken away by soldiers from Ouros for apparently commiting some kind of crime?" The salesman replied.

  "Ouros? They are probably just framing innocent people with their crimes so no one suspects them" Lucas responded.

  "Yeah i can see that being true, but there is no solid evidence against the leaders of Ouros so they always get away with it anyway" The salesman said.

  "Yeah thats true...oh right, thanks for the paper!" Lucas said before heading back to his workshop.

  "No problem!" The salesman responded and waved his hand goodbye.

  As Lucas was walking back he looked at the picture of the lady and swore he felt as if he heard about her but couldn't recognize her, so he planned to ask S when he wakes up to see if he knew about the lady.

  Lucas enters his workshop after the short trip and placed the newspaper on the nearby table before going to make some tea for himself, yes it was still hot but he likes his tea alot.

  As the water was boiling Lucas heard S climb down the ladder,still looking a bit tired but just not as much now.

  "That was a really short nap" Lucas said while waiting for the water to boil.

  "Yeah i just heard you home back so i wondered what you were doing outside" S replied.

  "Oh just took a short walk around town, i also bought the today's newspaper, its on the table if you want to give it a read" Lucas responded.

  S looked behind him and saw the paper, he took it in his hands and began to read it.

  "Damn an increase in Ark crystals? For real?" S asked, surpised at what he is reading.

  "Yep i was also surpised" Lucas responded, S sat down on the chair next to the table and began to read through the entire paper. The news got less and less interesting until he reached the last page and that's when he was shocked.

  Lucas realized S was on the last page and had to ask: "Do you recognize her?"

  "It's the lady that sells the Vertuseka i was talking about!" S replied incredible worried.

  "Really?? Damn it's such a shame..." Lucas sighed in response.

  "I'm breaking her out"

  "No YOU are not" Lucas responded while pointing the spoon he held at S.

  "I said 'i' am breaking her out,me alone" S insisted.

  "But why??? She's just some random Person that sells Vertuseka" Lucas responded.

  "I just...realllyyy like her vertuseka..." S replied,not fully honest.

  "...what sort of reason is that?" Lucas responded.

  "Just leave it, i'll go myself to not trouble you" S said, Lucas sighed and facepalmed.

  "If your going then i'm going...someone has to put you in your coffin once you die" Lucas said.

  "Fair enough" S said.

  "But atleast tell me just why you want to save her so badly?" Lucas asked.

  "...i suppose...she means alot to me..."S responded, his expressions growing grim as if he remembered a bad memory, Lucas saw that face and sighed, he realized now just how much S cared about her now...and even realized why.

  "So what's the plan then?" Lucas took a sip of his tea before sitting across the table.

  "I don't have any plan" S responded.

  "...so your just going to barge into the Ouros military base like it's nothing?" Lucas questioned, looking at S like he was an idiot.

  "What-no i just read the news and you really expect me to instantly come up with a plan???" S responded, annoyed.

  "Oh my bad then" Lucas responded, S began to think about what to do, the execution would be in around 4 days or so so they really had very little time and there were already way too many problems.

  "Let's start off with one problem at a time S" Lucas said.

  "Huh?" S was confused by what Lucas meant.

  "I know your thinking hard right now but it's best to think about one problem at a time, our time is limited so let's not waste it on useless thinking" Lucas said, S understood what Lucas meant and nodded.

  "Alright, let's ignore on how we get to Ouros for now as that is probably the easiest part to think of. What we need to think is how we can break her out" Lucas stated.

  "Let's go over what we both know, First, we know that Ouros has a really powerful army that has around 30-40 Arkreactors, second, Ouros most likely has really tight security since each time they get accused of a crime no one has managed to get any evidence at all"

  "And third even if we break her out our life's will change forever, we can no longer stay here and will constantly be on the run from Ouros and probably it's allies aswell" Lucas finished speaking.

  "Alright so lets first deal with the one that will cause us the most trouble first, Arkreactors" S said

  "Right, so you have any idea on how to deal with them?" Lucas asked while sipping his tea.

  "Not really no, the only way to deal with an Arkreactor is by being an Arkreactor yourself...and both of us have never even seen an Ark crystal before so that is a big problem" S said.

  "Hmm..." Lucas began to think for a bit.

  "You have an idea Lucas?" S asked.

  "Yeah, follow me" Lucas replied, He went deeper into the workshop and went inside a room that S had never boticed before.

  "Was this purposefully hidden?" S had to ask.

  "Yeah i was going to reveal it to you once it was truly finished, but i believe in its current state it will be fine" Lucas said, inside the room there was something being covered by a large sheet.

  "This is what i have been working on S" Lucas says as he pulls the sheet right off, Underneath the it was a high-tech never seen before beam cannon. It had a sleek white and black colouring and could even fold itself in half so it would be easier to carry.

  "This looks amazing...but how will it help?" S asked.

  "Well it's not stronger than an Arken since it's not complete, But it can still deal high amounts of power in one shot" Lucas replied.

  "can it break through the walls of vessels?" S asked.

  "Of course" Lucas replied.

  "Good because we will be raiding this town's military vessel" S said.

  "Why?" Lucas asked while strapping his beam cannon to his back.

  "Because we are going to steal an Ark crystal"
