“Matriarch Ava Oya” the servant bows while lifting up a communication device. “Your daughter needs to speak to you urgently.” he avoided eye contact.

  Ava Oya was a woman with a temper but she never shouted or distorted her face displaying it. She felt it unbefitting of her.

  “Did you tell her what exactly was taking place?” Ava pulled back her bow string on her bow. It was made of polished wood with a hole in the center of it for the arrow to be placed In. By this world's level of technology this couldn't have been a more simple bow.

  She let the arrow loose and more than a mile away a fiend beast perished. With a hole through his skull.

  “Hit” one of her servants with high tech binoculars said. “ Poor thing didn't even know what hit him. The servant thought.

  Ava Oya sighed. “I may have to go down there because I let my brother go on vacation. Where was he going again? She said turning to her personal assistant. He was a broad young man 6 '3 and he looked like he should be on a battlefield.

  “He's on his honeymoon ma'am.” The broad young man replied.

  “Oh yea that's right, thank you Jeffrey.”

  “Ma’am that's not my na-” before he could finish one of the servants quickly shook her head no to correcting him.

  Ava turns to the servant with the NCD and answers her daughter. While continuing to look at the situation in the outer city.

  “Yes, what is it sweetie? Momma's working. Actually work this time, not me just managing the family.”

  *Pauses

  “What! Who is this girl?”

  “Jeffery, investigate a girl named Edith Gardner for me will you”

  The broad young man then walked away from the balcony to complete the task.

  “Well honey we could get rid of her but if she is strong as you say she is then I'm sure she'll get a backer soon. We would have to make it look like an accent in a couple of years after she's already at a base under Shepard's Captain. Or you could just give up on Kenan and allow Kane to court you. That boy has been giving me all kinds of gifts in order for me to put in a good word for him.

  Ava lets off another shot Killing five more Fiend Beasts.

  “Yalissa honey I have given you my blessings on marrying who you want but this has to be the last straw for me. Kenan isn't an Ogun on paper anymore and some female genius wants him. This may be a sign baby. Move on I think he only really saw you as siblings anyways. Anyways, I love you bye kisses. She makes a kissing noise then hangs up.

  Ava starts to lift up off of the balcony as she tosses her bow to the side. “ Have, Jeffrey run a bath for me will you? It looks like I'm going to get a good workout today” She then shoots off into the sky breaking the sound barrier.

  Her servants look up as she disappears. “When is the new guy going to learn that his new name is Jeffery?”The servant that brought the NCD said.

  All three of them laugh. “They are all handsome though. I wonder how long this one will last?” The servant girl with the binoculars said. She then tossed the binoculars to the side.

  “I say another two months. Maybe three if he really likes the check.” The servant girl said behind the bar. “Why do you use those things anyways? Can’t you just use the tech on the balcony to see the Outer city barrier?”

  “It is a traditional thing amongst the Oya's to use the binoculars and the bow and arrow. Otherwise I don't think Matriarch Ava would use it at all.

  “Oh, well that's probably the least weird thing about this place. Let me go tell “Jeffrey” to go run that bath. The Male servant then took his leave.

  Currently at the Barrier of City Oya

  Ava was high above, flying in the sky ground looking at the savage beasts attempting to overwhelm her troops and her city. “All it takes is a little corruption magic to turn these normal animals into mindless monsters. That was Centuries ago but still. It's hard to believe that these Fiend beasts were once normal animals at least their ancestors were.

  “RRAAARRA” the Cyclops shouted. Pointing his club. The Fiend beast made up of bears,big-cats ,wolves and large reptiles advanced on the Shield right before the city wall.

  “I can't say I’ve ever seen anything like that. A Cyclops acting like a general giving commands? I'll have to report this to the Shepherds. It's best this information not be concealed among the Elder families. Ava thought.

  Ava opened the palm of her hand and a small tornado could be seen spinning in the middle of her hand. She casually tosses the baby tornado just outside of the city's forcefield and in the midst of the fiend beast army. “Hurricane Cyclone” She makes spinning moations with her hand adding more power to her baby tornado until it's a massive twister in the sky. The Fiend beast army was literally blown away. Either completely cut to pieces by the force of the winds or fallen to their death due to being lifted off the grown. At least 80% of the army was wiped out.

  Even in the midst of the rushing winds that could burst an eardrum and dust in the sky Ava saw all of the Fiends that perished. The Cyclops was plummeting to the ground but he was still alive once he hit. He rose looking at the destruction and was met with a woman with light brown curly hair and a caramel complexion. She was wearing a light blue women's suit with a white colored shirt and a silver tie. She landed right in front of him on a snake corpse. She made a repulsive face as she tried to kick the blood off of her white high heels.

  “Forget I'll just float why I talk” Ava said. She lifted herself off of the ground with visible air currents around her. She snapped her fingers a couple of times at the Cyclops.

  “Do you understand human speech?” She asked.

  The Cyclops made a confused face.

  Ava flicked her finger and a wind blade cut right through the monster's arm. The next sound was a mangled armed landing on the ground.

  “I'll ask a different question: who sent you? I already know you understand human speech. Do you not know whose territory this is?”

  “The Oya, the Oya.” cried the Cyclops who shouts of pain.

  “I will not ask my question again,” Ava said. She rose her finger as a gesture.

  His single eyes widened. “It was the Den of W-” his head exploded before he could finish the sentence.

  Darius from a distance watched the entire scene play out. As he held a trigger in his hand that just made the Cyclops head explode. “Attacking the Elder families is clearly out of the question.” he said as he ducked behind the hill he was just laying over. Either way I should report his back to Alpha Herod.

  Back by the Cyclops

  Ava had anticipated this would happen; she already had a wind barrier around her so her clothes won't get dirty. It was practically invisible, which was nice. “Den of what? I'll have to look into this personally? Whoever attacked the city is either bold or a complete fool.

  A speedster appears in front of Ava as she is thinking about the situation that unfolded. “Macharh, sorry for the delay I had to help personally move troops who weren't wind users off of the battlefield.”

  Two other speedsters appear by his side. Bowing slightly at the waist acknowledging Ava.

  “It's fine, make sure you pay the butcher double,not triple the price for processing this meat. Make sure we get all of it. Also? She turns in the direction that Darius was in completely unaware he was there. “Scout in that direction for 20 miles and report back to me if you find me. Make sure you do that first.”

  The three Speedsters looked at each ot

  her and nodded their heads. As they disappeared leaving a dust trail behind them.
