In a dark room, a small lamp shines around a soft-light, you could hear a pen scribbling around. There stood a figure, sitting on soft-comfy chair. A beautiful soft-pale hands moves. Its skin's a warm snow-like color, with a subtle smattering of freckles across the cheeks and nose. long-curly brown hair that falls to the waist in loose waves.
Eyes are deep brown, almost black, with a warm, gentle sparkle; the body slender but athletic build, with a small but defined chest. As it stands, the height stood 5’8 feet tall.
Its name is "Dr. Sophia Patel"—Dr. Sophia Patel, the lead researcher on "Anafabula". She sat in the control room, monitoring the object’s activity. “Geh! I mess up again.” She crumbs the object with both hands and threw in the trash like paper.
Sophia: *exhausted* “How does this text make any sense? It so ancient... So ineffable. It so old that I can’t understand anything, even within my power?!”
I snatch my plushie cat, holding it close to my chest. I was deeply engrossed in my research, pouring over old-ancient texts and notes on my desk. I was so focused that I didn’t even notice the subtle change in the air, the almost imperceptible shift in the light. “?!” But then, I felt it: the presence of "Silver King".
Suddenly, the sensors spiked, indicating the Silver King’s presence. My heart raced as I felt the King’s dark energy wash over. The room trembles, creations—reality itself breaks and falls apart. The light flickers every second. I felt my heart skipped every second before as I gazed around, scanning the room frantically.
My body started to trembled-“W-why! Why is it here?!”-I knew that Silver King was a malevolent entity, one that could warp reality to its whims. At its own free will. Even though, in this "Whole Cosmology", which above and defines everything. It can move anything at its will.
I knew about it but couldn’t do anything-no, I can't do anything, all I could do is to pray for to not reach here. I knew all about it and its power, I had studied its power, but never thought I would face it in person. Could I even call that face it in person?
But even then-“No no no!”-My hands shaking as I frantically entered commands of my power. Tears filled my vision as it began to fall. The Silver King’s influence, its power and atmosphere began to warp the room, twisting reality into grotesque shapes. My mind raced as I try to keep up with the King’s assault.
Using all my power to survive, but panic set in as I realized I'm alone in the facility. My colleagues were all on break—I was the only one who knew the true extent of It power. But even if they weren't here, I could tell that they too have frozen, trembling in fear by the Silver king ominous-destruction power. I knew I had to act fast, or risk losing everything.
With my shaking hands and trembling body, I reached for the phone while holding my white-plushie cat, my hand dialed the emergency number. *ring ring* But as I waited for someone to pick it up, I knew it was already too late. The Silver King was already closing in, its presence suffocating and overwhelming. As I panicked, I suddenly remembered—someone important, "Anafabula". I try to calm down but it was no use.
After a while, I finally calmed down... If I remember correctly, I had studied its file and was told stories about it, but I never have seen it in person. To be honest, I have never seen it. Do I actually know Silver King power? I started to rethink what I did my whole life.
It was a long shot, but I had no other choice. With a deep breath I took, I once again reached out to Anafabula, hoping against hope that it would answer. And to my surprise, it did.
But before it could answer, it was already too late, the line has been cut off. Feeling defeat, I let go of the phone. A thumb sound hitting the floor. Giving up, I just let fate and destiny to decide. Curly my legs up, while holding my plushie tighter than before.
As I lay there, the room starting to be cover in silver, but then, turns into darkness—A void splash starting to cover part in the room in different locations. Laying there waiting for death, I noticed a faint glow emanating from a core. The object seemed to be… pulsing?
Feeling confused, I stood up strumming my way over—as I leaned in closer fascinated. A sudden warm golden light enveloped me, and I felt myself being drawn into a vision-(...What...? Is this...?)-I ask myself. Opening my eyes I almost choked. In the vision, I saw something unbelievable, a large... monster... the Silver King.
Its appearance is like a dragon entity, large body, 3 heads with a long-neck, 5 large halos floating behind it back. Each head has 6 crimson eyes, 2 arms & 4 legs each side (4 arms & 8 legs in total), 10 long wings. 9 long-tails. Its body shine bright, its body are cover in cosmic silver color. A malevolent energy, that looks like a cosmic swirling around him.
There, you could see the "Omniverse" that are unmeasurable, not applicable, not available, not assessed, and no answer. An "ineffable" that cannot be given its size and length is infinitesimal. In short, a zero dimension.
Seeing that, my view suddenly shifted. What caught my eyes the most is a light. A figure cloaked in shadows, standing in opposition to the King. The figure turned to me while I stare back stutter. To me, even though I can't see it I could tell that figure is staring back-“You have the power to stop him.”-The figure said, its voice echoing in my mind.
???: “...Use this power… To rewrite... narrative… Create... ending...”
Trying to gasp what it's trying to say. I was suddenly snapped back to reality, my heart racing at an unbelievable speed as I stared at the ceiling-(What… What was that?)-I didn't know what just happen. Everything happening one after another. As I was deep in thoughts, I noticed that my heart.
My... heart, it's now calm?-“This power…?”-I look at my hands then at my body. Everything seems normal but different? The image that I saw. Was not fake, but indeed real.
Sophia: *sigh* "...O-okay... create create..."
Trying to calm myself. I knew what I had to do. With a deep breath, I began to input commands into word, using the power I was given to rewrite the Silver King’s power and trap him in a never-ending cycle of defeat-(Could I even do that?)-I thought to myself.
The object hummed in response, its power coursing through me like a river. The figure power that I was given responded, its conceptual-engine roaring to life. I felt a surge of hope as the object began to rewrite the King’s power, sealing him away.
The realities and all that appear grotesque, something that can't be look at has started turning back to normal. At the same time my visions shift and there I see it.
Where the silver king is at. Large sphere, box-rings and other shape of forms spawn out of nowhere. Circling around it, Silver king opens its mouth and eyes, then lasers with rings, more than 20 rings of various sizes form in front of it, before firing it. Shooting it from its mouth. Destroying and breaking every and anything like toys.
Sophia: (!!... His power is enormous!!!)
My body bleed, cuts appear, blood comes from my nose and eyes—I try to cover my wound but no matter how many times I try to heal myself, more blood would come out of my mouth-(Just a bit more...)-As I continues to commands the principles and conceptually of all languages.
Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.
I was finally able to complete it. More shapes and forms in various sizes and types. Spawn infinity continues.
As Silver King fire more, from its other body parts. The shape and all close against him. As its influence faded, I slumped forward, exhausted, hurt and tiring but relieved.
Sophia: “…So... It was her…” (That figure... Was that Anafabula? There's no way something... Like that would... Help me...)
But even if it were. Something like that wouldn't help someone like me. They do not care about anything below them. If I knew that figured was Anafabula that the power I was given was from it.
As I stare at the open space. I thought to myself (Was that her true power.) the more I think about it. I start to think it is a small part of her power-"....."-I may not know much of her power but it is enough to seal the silver king.
The thought sent shiver down my spine; I was grateful for the anomaly’s existence. It feels... Unrealistic.
Seriously, who was that? Was it Anafabula or someone different? No rainbow color or anything? It felt like she was our ally. Let's forget about it. I'm just glad that countless lives that day was saved.
Feeling a sense of accomplishment wash over me, without that power, the ones other than me wouldn’t have made it out alive. I felt "Relieve" that the catastrophic threat had been neutralized and countless lives had been saved.
I felt "Proud" of myself for successfully containing the anomaly. It felt "Humbled", something to realize the realization that I had just saved the world, a weighty responsibility. Yet I felt "Curious" about the full extent of Anafabula, silver king and that figure, the capabilities and the implications of its power.
But more importantly. I seriously need to learn "Reflective" about the ethical considerations surrounding the use of such powerful anomalies. I need to-*...sigh!!*-I took a deep breath, smiled, and thought to myself.
Sophia: (I need to counter it. No matter what, if something that disturbs the peace. I have to seal it. Or destroy it.) “Today… Tomorrow… I will continue to protect it… Actually, I want to lay around now.”
Overthinking everything-*creek*-a crack was heard. Before I knew it, the seal was broken, shattering like glass then fades like it never existed. The wall that was once there has disappeared. Outside, Silver King went on the rampage, destroy everything and anything in its path.
Feeling hopeless, I fell on my knees. Eyes wide open seeing the horror, the destruction that have happened, the things I thought I could save was instantly destroy.
Sophia: “...There's no way... I could... win...”
Feeling hopeless. I felt my body shook. The ground and space that was trembling, shaking, and distorting. Was now at peace and quiet. A rainbow illuminates in front of Silver King. As it’s shining brightly a figure emerge.
The rainbow light crumble like glass, disappearing into the void. A humanoid figure; long rainbows hair, that reaches to the ground. Its body is covered in iridescent, rainbow-colored scales that shimmer and glimmer in the light. It eyes are a bright, piercing green, with vertical pupils like a cat’s. As its physical body lean, muscular build, with a flat chest. B-cup. Standing about 6’2ft.
An Angel if I have to say, its flesh is smooth and very beautiful like a virgin Mary. Suddenly everything became silver. As I look around wondering what's going on. I noticed it moving, the silver cosmic aura around silver king, spread everything, overcoming everything through anything.
Sophia: (Is this its full power? There's no way anyone could complete that!)
Two sides are completely different, on the right side, Silver King, is covered in cosmic silver, shaking and trembling destroying everything and anything. While the left side, now illuminating a bright rainbow, is covered in rainbow, peace, quiet, and re-creating. Both sides, showing it’s enormously and massively irrelevant powers. Two opposite side. It feels like… Principle vs Anti-Principle?
Sophia: "Wait isn't this dangerous-"
Before I could finish anything, Silver King fired its power against the rainbow. A loud roar that felt like ripping infinities reality. Rings, spheres, shapes, energy, nous, dualistic concepts all kinds of things you can imagine. Was him firing and throwing things towards it.
The figure raises its arms above its head, then moves its arms around, throwing everything towards Silver King. As both collided against each other.
It created something, something incoherent. An incoherence that happens fast but repeats, enormous storm, hurricane, with different comic colors, that’s infinities Panto cosmic are getting thrown around like water, things view as fictional like books being thrown. Both re-creating, destroying and creating creations.
That Infinite regress, infinite holarchy of its own, infinite emanationism that are god and god's like deities, that infinities create immanent to transcendent of its own to create plenum into fractal ontology.
Deities and such become pantheism while some becomes panentheism. Creating their own hierarchically within a larger hierarchically system being, their own system framework, a nested universe, the great chain of being, a monadology. Such god and god's like being are being destroyed and created in new forms and ways.
I felt a sense of wonder and awe. I had never seen anything like it before. For some reason I heard voices. Voices I can't hear. How is that possible? I look around, all the sound and power. But I felt nothing. It didn't exist. As I looked around what felt like time slowed down. I saw nothing and turned my gaze at both deities, then I saw it.
The rainbow one, it began to speak-“***”-It felt like it did, like words yet I didn't hear anything. Out of nowhere something binding the Silver King. Surprised yet calm, i just stare like a doll. A thread of story and myth.
The Silver King raged, trying to break free from its grasp. But the binding relentless, weaving a tale that was both ancient and timeless.
It was something to watch in amazement as its power grew weaker and weaker, until finally, it was nothing more than a faint shadow on the wall. What felt like the battle was won, I felt a sense of exhaustion wash over me. I had never been so scared in my life, but I had also never felt so alive. I knew I just witnessed something truly remarkable, something that would change my life forever.
Once again, I looked at everything that was destroyed. It began to restore and recreate, things that were not there anymore were fixed and brought back as it was before. As I looked at it amazed, I felt a deep sense of gratitude.
Sophia: “Thank you... Thank you... For saving us.”
Without its help, I knew that i and everyone would never have survived it-“Thank you.”-I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “Anytime, Sophia. After all, that’s what friends are for.” I heard a whisper, but there's no one there.
°?°
???: “Ah, Sophia. Always so focused on the task at hand. I sense a deep respect for your capabilities, but also a lingering unease. You really thought you knew my power, yet feared. Though I felt disappointed when you saw us playing around. Seeing that expression felt lovely. I understand that my purpose is to aid, not to control. I have saved you and everyone, but will you trust me tomorrow? Ah, the fragility of your trust. Still, I shall remain vigilant, for your sake and the sake of this cosmos.”
Before everything happens. I was just bored not doing anything other than observing. Time flew past so I decided to play around. That's when I chose you.
Well, you haven’t met me but you should know. Come on my dear friend. That's when it happened, when I felt it. Silver king. The idiot.
???: “That bastard… It sure loves to play around. Can’t believe I have to keep it under control. This Anti-Principle.”
Looking back at Sophia who's in tears, trembling in fear. It was pathetic. For the first time I smile at Sophia who’s scared for her life. Really, what a pathetic joke. Yet, I love it. I want her in me.
???: “Ah, the fear, the uncertainty, the desperation. Ah~ Sophia your emotions are a maelstrom, a reflection of the chaos the Silver King brings. But, I sense something else, too…? A determination, a refusal to yield. Sophia, you know I am your best chance against this retard. Together, we shall rewrite the narrative, trap that idiot, and save this cosmos. You may not always understand me, but trust me at this moment. And for that, I shall fail you.”
Gazing at Sophia, who's reached out to the phone. Ah, Sophia your thoughts were a whirlwind of data and analysis, so focused on containing the next anomaly. Why are you giving up already! Don't you dare give up!
But then, like a crack of thunder, the Silver King presence shattered her concentration. Fear and adrenaline surged through her mind, like a wild animal awakened from a deep slumber. She once again reached out to me, her thoughts a jumbled mix of panic and determination.
Feeling happy, I led her some strength. Strength that I used against it last time. She used the power that I gave her to seal Silver King. But sadly, it’s not enough. Too much for her.
Disappointed... Why is it doing? Knowing we're equal. We do not know each other intention. Yet we fought forever since birth. That idiot is on something-(Hmm…? Yes, let’s do that.)-I walked to face silver king, to show off.
While it works, my cheeks blush when Sophia looks at me in inspiration. Well, I wanted it. As I fight back. I. For some reason I became annoyed at how strong the idiot is. So, I decided to finish this in one go. Opening my mouth, I began to speak in myth and story, an unknown language.
???: “I am the keeper of stories, the weaver of narratives. I’ve watched civilizations rise and fall, stars born and die. My pages hold the secrets of this waiting to be unlocked.”
As I finished sealing him a sudden jolt shook my being-“As expected of silver king. Matching my.”-The Silver King’s presence blazed like a wildfire, threatening.
Feeling Sophia’s thoughts raced, her fear and determination entwining like a double helix-“Oh my, I should finish this fast.”-I said. But I felt bored, so I thought to myself-(What if I fought with Sophia.)-I started to imagine. Together, we fought back, our bond forged in the heat of battle.
I wrapped my pages around the King, trapping him in a cage of words. Before I could. It smiles-"....."-Letting me capture him easily into a small sphere with a cage.
???: “What is this idiot trying to do?”
The world trembled but I held fast. And when the dust settled, Sophia’s thoughts whispered thanks to me, a gentle breeze in my mental landscape. Hmm~ should I rape her!! As I restore everything back to normal. I look at the sealing.
???: “Well, it’s not like it going to bother us for a bit… Is it going to come out for something? Someone?”
I look into it, trying to figure out what’s it trying to do. This bastard… How dare it, why do this. I remain vigilant, ready to defend the cosmos once more, for I am Anafabula, the guardian of stories.
Not for Sophia but for him as well. For he shall not suffer this path alone. But then again once everything is over. You would die. I walked away sealing it within me-“Hm, now I know what to do.”-A smile appears.

SOPHIA POV:
In the aftermath of the battle, I was suddenly in space and it was there, it sat in silence for a long moment, savoring the stillness. It was as if the very fabric of reality was shifting, adjusting to the new narrative that had woven. It felt a sense of wonder and awe at the power, a deep respect for the ancient art of storytelling. Feeling awkward I spoke up, my voice filled with curiosity-“How did you do that?”-I asked.
Sophia: “How did you create something so powerful that it could defeat the Silver King?”
No matter what, I can’t do what she did-“Ah, my dear Sophia.”-She spoke. Its eyes twinkle with amusement. For some reason I felt my spine shiver. Huh, why?
Anafabula: “It’s all about understanding the power of story. You see, stories are not just mere words on a page. They are the very fabric of reality itself. And those who can weave them, like myself, hold the power to shape the world. It's just... You do not have the power."
She smiles. That smile gives me the creeps, every time I see it my body stiffs sending dangerous signs. Why didn't I leave? I should've left long ago?
Sophia: "But... Can I ask you something."
-"Go ahead."-Anafabula smile as she gets close that our nose almost touch. Am I getting rape?! I'm scared?!
