Dagron dove deeper and deeper into the volcano, looking for Doomfire.

  He was about to give up and resurface when he spotted a giant dark mass further down. He got closer and sure enough, there was Doomfire, curled up and hibernating. Dagron was in awe, but snapped out of it when he realized he was running out of air. He quickly got up to the sleeping titan and nudged him to try and wake him up. There was no response so Dagron decided to do something drastic. He got up to one of Doomfire's eyes and pulled it open. That did the trick and the dragon titan opened all four of his eyes and started moving. He saw Dagron gesturing for him to resurface as Dagron headed up and out of the volcano. That peaked the Titan's curiosity and it began to follow Dagron.

  Dagron burst through the surface of the volcano and got out.

  "Well? What happened" Hunterbolt asked him.

  Dagron quickly grabbed his staff.

  "Start flying, now" he ordered.

  Him, Hunterbolt, Acidstorm and Smokescreen immediately took flight and flew away to a safe distance from the volcano. Suddenly, a hot wind began to pick up and the lava in the volcano began to act up, like the volcano was about to erupt.

  "D, what happened" Hunterbolt asked him.

  Dagron didn't respond and continued to stare at the volcano when Doomfire suddenly burst through the volcano, releasing a large cloud of fire. Almost every dragon on the Isle saw this and gazed in awe. Abyss, Groundspliter, Frost and Bansha saw this as well.

  "Well, I'll be" Groundspliter uttered.

  "Girls, with me. Everyone else, wait here" Abyss ordered.

  Abyss quickly took off, Groundspliter, Frost and Bansha quickly following her. They all flew up to Dagron, Hunterbolt, Acidstorm and Smokescreen.

  "Hey, looks like I was right" said Dagron.

  "Yeah, now come on. Let's get up to him and make sure he knows who we are" said Abyss.

  Dagron nodded and both he and Abyss landed in front of Doomfire. The dragon titan looked down at them and saw them both holding their staffs. Recognizing them as the King and Queen, he bowed his head to show respect.

  "(Your majesties)" he uttered.

  "(Welcome back to the land of mortals, almighty titan)" said Dagron.

  "(Why have I been awakened)" Doomfire asked.

  "(A lot of things have happened since you and your brothers went into your hibernation)" Abyss replied.

  "(What has happened)" Doomfire asked.

  Dagron and Abyss began to explain the history of what dragons had gone through with dragon hunters and what happened afterwards. During this, Dagron's parents finally managed to see the dragon titan for themselves.

  "(It looks like your father was right all along, dear)" said Dagron's mother.

  Dagron's father smiled with pride as he saw his son talking to the dragon titan.

  "(Yes, it would appear so)" he said.

  Meanwhile...

  "(And that's about it)" said Dagron.

  Doomfire then lowered his head, looking somewhat sad.

  "(My brothers and I have failed as guardians)" he said.

  "(Don't say that. There's no way you could have predicted what would have happened)" said Abyss.

  "(And everyone always assumed that you titans were just a legend. Nobody thought that you were actually real)" said Dagron.

  "(Until now, anyway)" said Abyss.

  Doomfire paused for a moment before speaking again.

  "(Thank you, for awakening me from my slumber. I will now spend the rest of my existance protecting all dragons from those who seek to harm them for their own selfish reasons)" said Doomfire.

  "(Thank you, almighty titan)" said Dagron.

  "(We plan on awakening your brothers as well. Any chance you know where Quetzalcoatl and Thunderwing are resting)" Abyss asked.

  In response, Doomfire simply raised his left wing and flapped it, clearing out all of the volcanic ash and soot from the volcano. That revealed a large map, carved onto a wall of the volcano. Dagron and Abyss were both taken aback as they glanced over at each other.

  "(Thank the gods, I guess)" said Dagron.

  "(My icy brother rests in a large cavern in the Antarctic. While my other brother rests in a deep cavern within Mt. Thunderstrike)" said Doomfire.

  Dagron and Abyss knew where both of those places were, but also that they were dangerous places and for good reasons.

  The Antarctic is not only large, but one of the coldest places on Earth with the occasional howling winds and blizzards. The other problem is that cold places surrounded with water are usually home to large, aggressive and territorial sea serpents.

  Mt. Thunderstrike is a very tall mountain plagued with rain, lightning, thunder and, occasionally, rockslides. However, the biggest danger about Mt. Thunderstrike is that, among dragons, it's known to be a hotspot for griffin nests. However, depending on how long Dagron, Abyss and all other dragons have been imprisoned, the conditions there could have changed and there could no longer be any griffins there at all.

  "(Thank you for this information, Doomfire. We will form a plan and go to awaken your brothers)" said Dagron.

  "(I will eagerly await your return, your majesties. In the meantime, I will protect the Isle with my life)" said Doomfire.

  "(Thank you, almighty titan. Farewell, now)" said Abyss.

  Doomfire nodded and nuzzled back into the volcano, setting his wings down and laying his head on top of them. At the same time, Dagron and Abyss flew back to their friends and all other dragons who were waiting for them. All the other dragons on the Isle were gazing in awe at the newly awakened titan. The legend was true and now Doomfire was here among them. Some dragons asked their King and Queen what this could mean and what happened.

  "What happened is that Doomfire has awoken and now, my dragons, our home now has an immortal guardian to watch over it and protect it" said Dagron.

  All the dragons around cheered, knowing that their home will now always be protected.

  "HOWEVER, it's not over yet. Doomfire has awoken and now, thanks to what he told us, we now know where to find Quetzalcoatl and Thunderwing" said Abyss.

  "Then it's best they be awoken as well" said a dragon.

  "Yeah, with three unstoppable titans watching over us and our home, we don't have to worry about anyone or anything trying to harm us, ever again" said another dragon.

  "Exactly! You are all dismissed" said Dagron.

  All of the dragons then left, except for Dagron and Abyss' friends.

  "What now" Bansha asked them.

  "Now, the rest of us are having a private meeting" Abyss replied.

  "Yeah, cause thanks to Doomfire, we know where to find the other two" said Dagron.

  Later...

  Dagron and Abyss went inside their den with their friends to discuss about the whereabouts of the Quetzalcoatl and Thunderwing.

  "Alright, what's the plan, D" Hunterbolt asked him.

  "We now know where Quetzalcoatl and Thunderwing are hibernating, that's the good news" he replied.

  "And the bad news" Acidstorm asked him.

  "It's where they're hibernating that's the issue" Dagron replied.

  "OK and where exactly are they hibernating" Groundspliter asked.

  "Quetzalcoatl is hibernating in a deep cavern underneath the tallest mountain in the Antarctic, while Thunderwing is hibernating in a large cavern somewhere underneath Mt. Thunderstrike" Abyss replied.

  Their friends were somewhat taken aback and looked a little worried.

  "So the coldest place in the world and one of the most dangerous places in the world. Lucky us" said Smokescreen.

  "I know it seems risky, but I know that, together, we can all pull it off and awaken that last two titans" said Dagron.

  Their friends sighed at first but quickly smiled and nodded.

  "Alright, then, Dagron, old pal, where do we start" Acidstorm asked him.

  "I'm thinking if we free Quetzalcoatl first, then he can escort us to Mt. Thunderstrike so we can free Thunderwing without a problem" he replied.

  "Sounds like a plan, but what about the humans" Smokescreen asked.

  "What about the humans, Smokescreen" Dagron asked him.

  "Do you think they'll notice a massive titan flying around" he replied.

  "They probably will, but we don't care if they do, do we" Dagron asked everyone around him.

  Everyone nodded silently.

  "We are beyond from concealing ourselves from humans, any of them get in our way or try to stop us, we deal with them" said Dagron.

  "Then it's settled, honey. First thing, tomorrow, we're going to the Antarctic" said Abyss.

  "Yes, but first, I've been thinking" said Dagron.

  "About what" Abyss asked him.

  "If we're going to the Antarctic, we're gonna need some extra firepower" he replied.

  "Really? Who else should we bring with us" Hunterbolt asked.

  Dagron then looked at Smokescreen.

  "I never thought I would ever say this, but...Smokescreen" he said.

  "Yeah" Smokescreen asked.

  "Go get that pyromaniac cousin of yours" Dagron replied.

  There was a slight pause.

  "Oh, OK. Alright, I'll go get him" said Smokescreen.

  He then flew out of the den to go find his cousin and bring him back.

  "We're bringing Firefly with us" Acidstorm asked.

  "Hey, a pyromaniac in a cold place can be useful. My fire elemental abilities won't be very effective, so we'll need as much as we can get" Dagron replied.

  The others understood and, a few minutes later, Smokescreen came back with his cousin right behind him – a male wyvern with red scales, big horns and brown eyes name Firefly. Firefly has the ability to set himself on fire at will.

  "You called, big boss of dragons" he asked.

  "Hello, Firefly, I assume you saw the new titan that's going to be protecting the Isle" Dagron replied.

  "Sure did! It's so amazing to have our very own titan to watch over us now" said Firefly.

  "That's just one titan out of three, Firefly. Tomorrow, you are coming with us to get the other two" said Abyss.

  Firefly's eyes widened.

  "Awe, yeah" he exclaimed.

  At the same time, his abilities activated and his whole body was engulfed in flames for a few seconds before he stopped himself.

  "Sorry" he uttered.

  "Try not to do that again" said Dagron.

  "So, where are the other two titans anyway" Firefly asked.

  "One is in a caver underneath the tallest mountain in Antarctic and the other is in a cavern somewhere underneath Mt. Thunderstrike" Abyss replied.

  Firefly paused for a moment.

  "Now, it may be dangerous and we can understand if you don't want to go" said Dagron.

  "Oh, no. I'll go with you" said Firefly.

  "Wait, really" Abyss asked him.

  "Yeah, I can light myself on fire so I won't have a problem with the cold. Also, Mt. Thunderstrike? Any griffin gets too close to me, I'll just grab them and roast them in an instant" he replied.

  "Wow...thanks, Firefly" said Dagron.

  "Anytime, your majesties. Anytime" he said.

  "Then it's settled! Everyone, tomorrow, we are going south" said Abyss.
