After staring at the massive slumbering titan for almost a minute, Dagron, Abyss and the others snapped out of their trance and flew down to it. Dagron and Abyss pulled out their staffs, walked up to Thunderwing and tried to nudge him awake with their scepters. After a few attempts, the titan opened both of his red eyes and slowly rose up. Once his eyes adjusted, he saw Dagron, Abyss and their friends. When he noticed Dagron and Abyss holding their staffs, he bowed to show respect.

  "(Your majesties)" he uttered.

  "(Hello, almighty titan)" said Dagron.

  "(You have sought me out and awakened me from my eternal slumber, why)" Thunderwing asked.

  "(A lot has changed and happened since you and your brothers went into eternal hibernation, Thunderwing)" Abyss replied.

  "(Yes, your brothers are currently awake and fully committed to protecting the Isle)" said Dagron.

  "(Protecting the Isle? Why? What has happened in our absence)" Thunderwing asked.

  Dagron and Abyss then explained the same thing they explained to Doomfire and Quetzalcoatl. After they finished, Thunderwing's reaction was what they had expected – looking down and sad.

  "(We have failed. My brothers and I just slept while countless dragons lost their lives)" he said.

  "(It's not your fault. There's no way any of you could have known what would have happened in your absence)" said Abyss.

  "(Exactly! Everyone thought you titans were merely just legends and didn't know you actually existed)" said Dagron.

  After that, Thunderwing looked at them.

  "(You say my brothers are currently awake and guarding the Isle from those who seek to harm all dragons)" he asked.

  "(Yes and they're taking it very seriously)" Dagron replied.

  "(I will join them and make sure no harm comes to the Isle of the Dragons and its inhabitants)" said Thunderwing.

  Dagron and Abyss smiled and so did all their friends. Suddenly, a loud shriek came from behind them. They all turned around and looked up to see two of the griffins from before, free and very angry.

  "Again?! Don't these stupid birds ever quit" Firefly asked.

  "No, no, they don't" Smokescreen replied.

  The two griffins zoned in on Dagron and Abyss and started flying towards them, claws out. The King and Queen braced themselves for a fight when suddenly...

  ZAP!

  Both were zapped by a few lightning bolts and shrieked in pain before falling to the ground. Dagron and Abyss turned around and saw a lot of electrical arcs on Thunderwing's massive horns as the massive titan growled and glared at the two griffins. He then raised himself up, opened his mouth and began to charge up a giant blast of lightning. Dagron, Abyss and their friends all stood back, knowing exactly what was about to happen. Just as the griffins got up, Thunderwing fired. Everyone covered their eyes as the blast caused a very bright flash of light. Once it was over, everyone opened their eyes and all that they saw was a smoking crater where the griffins were once standing.

  "Incredible" said Abyss.

  "That's the power of the titans right there" said Dagron.

  He then turned to Thunderwing as he looked down at them.

  "(Now...how do you get out here, Thunderwing)" Dagron asked.

  Thunderwing just opened his mouth, aimed up and began to charge up to fire. Everyone immediately knew what the Titan was planning to do and looked at each other.

  "All of you, stay close" said Dagron.

  They all grouped up and Dagron used his staff to create a big barrier that shielded all of them. A few seconds later, Thunderwing fired up and created a giant hole that would allow him to fly out of the cavern. Dagron, Abyss and the others braced themselves for the debris to fall on the barrier when Thunderwing flew above the barrier, shielding them and allowing the falling debris to hit him instead. The debris falling on him didn't even make him flinch.

  Dagron, Abyss and the others smiled and Dagron stopped with the barrier. After that, Dagron and Abyss placed their staffs on their backs. Everyone then spread their wings and flew out the cavern and back outside, going up into the open sky. As soon as Thunderwing was out of the cavern and high up in the sky, dark storm clouds and lightning quickly formed all around the massive titan. Dagron, Abyss and the others all flew back and watched as lightning bolts hit Thunderwing, charging him up, when Abyss realized something.

  "Do we have a place for Thunderwing somewhere on the Isle? Doomfire has his volcano and Quetzalcoatl can stay outside without a problem" she said.

  Dagron thought about it for a few seconds when he got an idea – there was a giant cave near the one of beaches. It's not only empty, but it's close to the volcano so the titans can be near each other.

  "There is that one giant empty cave on the beach near the volcano" he said.

  Abyss smiled.

  "That's perfect" she said.

  Dagron smiled and nodded before looking back at Thunderwing, who finished charging up and was now looking at them.

  "(Let's go)" he said.

  With that, they all started flying back to the Isle of the Dragons. During the flight, Abyss was doing loops and enjoying herself as a few lightning bolts struck her and powered her up. Dagron and the others smiled and Dagron flew closer to her.

  "Enjoying yourself" he asked her.

  "Yep! I'm in my element" she replied.

  Thunderwing also saw her absorbing the lightning bolts and having a good time. He smiled, seeing that there are dragons who possess power similar to him and his brothers. That was when Smokescreen and Firefly saw something below from above the clouds and their eyes widened.

  "Uh...guys" said Smokescreen.

  Everyone looked back at him and Firefly.

  "Everyone look down. Are those what I think they are" he asked.

  Everyone else looked down and their eyes widened as they saw a whole armada of roman ships, maybe fifty or more, sailing in the direction they are going – towards the Isle of the Dragons.

  "Ships...a lot of them" Jade uttered.

  "And all of them are made for war" said Acidstorm.

  Dagron and Abyss both glared and growled before they flew up to Thunderwing.

  "(Thunderwing, underneath us)" said Abyss.

  "(Trouble heading towards the Isle)" said Dagron.

  Thunderwing looked down, saw the ships and growled. He, Dagron, Abyss and the others quickly picked up the pace and flew faster to get to the Isle and ready themselves.

  On the Isle of the Dragons...

  Doomfire and Quetzalcoatl were relaxing and watching over the open ocean, sky, and, of course, the Isle. After being awake for a while and watching over everything, the two titans truly appreciated it all. Every dragon on the Isle was peaceful and friendly with each other, they watched over their home and protected each other. It was really nice and heartwarming to think about. Then...came the thought about everything that Dagron and Abyss had told them. To think that there are humans in this world who would destroy such a beautiful thing for their own selfish gain was sickening. It made them angry and vow to destroy any humans who came to the Isle with malicious intent.

  As they relaxed and kept guard, they both sensed something and turned around to see a big dark storm cloud with lightning approaching fast.

  "(Brother, do you sense it)" Doomfire asked.

  "(Yes, our other brother is here)" Quetzalcoatl replied.

  Every other dragon on the Isle turned and saw the storm cloud approaching fast. A few seconds later, the clouds split open as Thunderwing flew through them and roared. He then landed and coiled up on a big, open and empty clearing that was overlooking the inactive volcano and the ring of ice in the water that Quetzalcoatl made for himself.

  "(Welcome, brother)" said Doomfire.

  "(Hello, brothers. It is good to see you again)" said Thunderwing.

  "(Indeed, brother. A lot has changed in our absence)" said Quetzalcoatl.

  "(I've noticed and have been informed)" said Thunderwing.

  Dagron, Abyss and the others arrived back on the Isle soon after, where they were greeted by everyone. However, the second they saw them having angry expressions on their faces, everyone knew something was off.

  "Your highness? What's wrong" a dragon asked.

  "(Gather everyone. We've got a huge situation)" said Dagron.

  Doomfire and Quetzalcoatl heard that.

  "(A situation)" Doomfire asked.

  "(Yes, brother)" Thunderwing replied.

  Doomfire and Quetzalcoatl looked at their brother.

  ("There is an armada of ships approaching this Isle...and it will take all three of us to stop them)" said Thunderwing.

  The facial expressions of all three titans became ones of anger. An armada of roman ships, armed to the teeth and sailing towards the Isle? They would leave no survivors.
