Chapter 003: The Tyrants Cruel Milk

Look at how the woman looks down on him, probably doesnt think much of this kind of man either.

He gave her a cold glance and turned his head to respond to the old ladys formulaic reminder.

"The expectant mother was severely injured and induced labor with bleeding after being hit violently, the delivery process was very difficult,"

"The child is weak and needs to be observed first, a thorough examination will be conducted tomorrow."

"Tonight, let the puerpera drink more water to promote urination, do not get out of bed, first turn over from side to side, let the child suck more milk, pay attention to the puerperas hygiene,"

"Also, the quilt you prepared for the child is too hard, change it to a softer one. If theres any problem, notify the nurse in time..."

The woman doctor talked for half a day, but her extremely good mother-in-law didnt listen at all, and the more she listened, the worse her face looked, obviously belonging to the sharp-tongued and ruthless type.

The doctor finished the shift and was about to leave, but the old lady grabbed his arm and burst into tears.

"Doctor, we are poor people, we have no money. Why dont we just leave the hospital and go home? Its all the same!"

The woman doctor looked at her sideways with a very cold tone and even reminded her word by word.

"Old lady, your daughter-in-law was sent here because of bleeding and premature birth,"

"Both adults and children need to be observed, we know your situation, but if this fetus is not well-nourished, it will affect the next fetus..."

Before the doctor could finish speaking, the old lady interrupted him.

"Whats there to observe? I think theyre fine, no need to observe anymore. Just issue the discharge certificate and well be on our way!"

"How can that be possible? Shes lost too much blood now. Not to mention walking, she cant even stand up."

The doctor disagreed and repeatedly warned and explained the consequences.

"Excessive blood loss can cause dizziness, tomorrow the blood test results will be out, if its severe, we might even need a blood transfusion."

As for her extremely excellent grandmother, she seemed to be completely unbothered by it all.

"Whats the difference whether you have a blood transfusion or not? All women have to go through this ordeal!"

"In those years when we were young, we gave birth quickly and then went back to work in the fields right away."

"No one is as spoiled as her! We are all farmers and dont have so many things to do. Hurry up and give us the discharge certificate, we want to leave the hospital now!"

From what she said, it seems like she thinks shes not stupid.

Is it reasonable to think that doctors are doing this just to squeeze more money out of people?

So its not possible to be discharged tonight?

Scoff, she doesnt even think about it, this woman really has physical problems, in the future she will only spend more money!

Is she really clueless or does she simply not take human life seriously at all?

Or maybe they never treated her mother as a person?

The more she thought about it, the colder her heart became. Her gaze at Bian Yis father was so hateful that she wished she could see right through him.

Is this useless man worthy of having descendants?

She said just throw it away directly!

Got it, the female doctor was entangled by this family and had no way out, slamming the medical record book and saying coldly.

"Go ahead, you can leave if you want to, but go and get a certificate for us first, proving that it was your own decision to be discharged."

"If something happens, it has nothing to do with the hospital. Dont come back and blackmail us when someone gets into trouble."

Every time the female doctor said a sentence, the old ladys face turned darker, until finally she couldnt bear it and waved her hand in surrender.

"Alright, alright, dont mention it again. Is it just about writing a certificate? Well write it then. Do we need to beat around the bush so much?"

"Besides, why look down on people? We are poor, but we have dignity. We are ordinary folks, whats the big deal?"

"Hurry up and go with the doctor to get the proof written, Ill pack up my things,"

Anyway, according to the old ladys idea, it doesnt matter how nonsense you talk, as long as they can be discharged from the hospital.

Waiting for one more minute is just a matter of one minutes worth of money, they dont have that much money to burn here.
