Okay, I was good.. kind of.. it didn’t matter. I couldn’t leave him out there waiting on me any longer. That would just be rude. I took a deep breath, opened the door and headed down the hall back into the living room I paused Avion had cleaned up, how thoughtful of him I felt a warmth spread through me my lips titled up into a gentle smile, I honestly expected an awkward moment when I came back I watched as Avion put his shoes back on and stand up. A part of me was disappointed that our time was coming to an end, and another part needed a moment to gather my thoughts.
“Oh! Your pizza hold on” I turned on my heels and went back to the kitchen I opened the fridge and grabbed his pizza as well as a lemon Bundt cake I grabbed a box for the cake and pizza carefully putting them both away I headed back into the living room and handed them to Avion.

“Thank you, Honey, you're very kind” he said as he took both boxes. Before heading to the front door, I followed behind him. He paused at the front door and turned to face me.
“I had a very nice time with you, thank you for inviting me over” he leaned in and caught my lips in a deep and surprisingly passionate kiss that made my toes curl. Before we both got carried away, he pulled away.
“Buenas noches, mi Amor. Dulces sue?os” he murmured smiling he turned and walked away I stood there and watched until he drive away shutting the door and locking I leaned against it for a moment feeling slightly off kilter by these unexpected feelings as I went to my room I brushed my teeth before stripping down to my t-shirt and getting into the bed I gently touched my lips, Evelyn jumped onto the bed and snuggled into me.
“I think I’m in trouble Evelyn” I whispered before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep with thoughts of Avion on my mind.
