Chapter 3: Violence and Privilege

The Angel's ship sailed north, the temperature around it getting colder and colder, with floating ice already appearing on the surface of the sea. The ice floes collided with the armor plating at the bow of the Angel's ship, producing a dull thud.

Crossing Greenland, entering the Arctic Circle, when a vast expanse of white ice and snow appeared in the line of sight under the polar night, the captain's summons sounded in the cabin.

"Alright! My heroic scoundrels, ******** Angel's journey has ended this time, but yours is just beginning! Please have everyone bring their personal belongings to gather on the foredeck - if you have any personal belongings! You've got ten minutes to get to the foredeck, it's the starting point for your rise to fame!"

Gu Xie dust had been on the ship since he got on board, and for the first time walked out of the cabin, and stepped onto the deck.

The biting cold wind of the Arctic Circle welcomed Gu Xiechen with its greatest enthusiasm, and when the first gust of cold wind hit his face, he felt as if someone had slashed him across the cheek. "At least minus thirty degrees!" Gu Xiechen shivered violently as soon as he stepped out of the warm cabin, unable to adapt to the low temperature outside. He quickly circulated his true energy, and his complexion improved somewhat. However, the 'heroes' who followed closely behind him out of the cabin were trembling like plucked quails, their faces frozen white.

Before even reaching the foredeck of the ******** Angel, a dull rumbling sound came from the sky.

At least fifty twin-rotor helicopters descended from the sky like giant birds from hell, all with their cabin doors open and a burly man in black uniform standing on the external step of each door, every one of them gazing down at the gathering new recruits with the fierce eyes of butchers slaughtering sheep.

A helicopter descended directly onto the foredeck of the ******** Angel, and a bald-headed man with at least thirty scars on his face glared menacingly at Gu Xuan and gestured: "Get up here, you bunch of little girls! We don't have time to play with you rookie birds, do you know that? Hurry up and get up here, whoever dares to waste time, I'll use a rocket launcher to blow their ass!" Coarse and rude, this was the mercenary of the Hell Angel Mercenary Corps.

He turned his head and looked back at the direction he came from, which was also covered by the polar night. He resolutely turned around and rushed into the helicopter cabin. The helicopter took off with sixty people on board and flew straight to the depths of the Arctic ice cap shrouded in darkness. Except for a few dim indicator lights, there was no light in the cabin, and even the person sitting next to him couldn't see what he looked like.

Guxiaodun looked out through the porthole, but couldn't see anything. The Arctic was currently under the rule of polar night, and a thick layer of clouds blocked out the starlight. With Guxiaodun's eyesight, he could only barely make out the vast expanse of white snow rushing past beneath the helicopter.

All around, except for the raging wind and snow, was the roar of the helicopter engine. A strand of enticing cigar smoke suddenly wafted through the cabin. At the front cabin door, a red glow flickered, and the bald-headed giant who had just yelled at Gu Xiechen to speed up and get into the cabin lit a cigar. Gu Xiechen, who had been dressed in finery since childhood, identified the cigar as being from Havana, hand-rolled and of high quality.

The new recruits in the cabin simultaneously swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and those thugs who had been suffocating on the Ark all the way stared at that flickering cigarette butt in the darkness with greenish eyes.

  "Hehe!"

The bald-headed man who was swallowing clouds and spitting out fog smiled slyly several times.

"Girls, you want to smoke cigars too? Hey, authentic Cuban Havanahandmade cigars, top-grade stuff! How long has it been since you girls last had one of these?"

The heavy breathing in the cabin gradually grew louder, and the bald-headed man intentionally or unintentionally tempted the new recruits, whose meager rationality was about to evaporate completely.

Gu Xie dusted off his mouth and smiled. He silently and quietly shrank back, trying to squeeze his body into the corner as much as possible.

"Hey, I know you guys started arranging seats on the boat. Among you bunch of chicks, is there anyone who can rank in the top 100? If you win against me, I'll give you twelve cigars! Otherwise, three hot chicks! Hey, how long has it been since you've had a woman?"

All the new recruits looked in the direction where Gu Xie Chen was, and the bald big man immediately looked towards Gu Xie Chen who was shrinking in the darkest corner of the cockpit. A more intense cigar smoke wafted through the cabin, and after a moment of silence, the bald big man suddenly burst out laughing: "Hey, what a clever guy! Smart people always live a little longer."

  "You're just not clever enough!"

The bald big man 'heh heh' laughed a few times, and from then on he didn't say another word the whole way.

A high snow ridge appeared in front, and the cold wind blowing straight hit the snow ridge, splashing up a sky full of snowflakes. The helicopter's engine emitted a rough gasp, and it struggled to fly over the snow ridge against the strong wind. Suddenly, the front was brightly lit.

Looking out of the porthole, a huge military camp stands out in the basin several kilometers away.

The square camp is more than three kilometers long and wide, surrounded by a circle of metal city walls that are over ten meters high. Every hundred meters on the wall, there is a watchtower nearly fifty meters high, with layers of searchlights shining far away, illuminating everyone's face in the cabin through the porthole, making their faces black and white.

The helicopter slowly flew over the camp, and two searchlights followed closely. In the dazzling white light, Gu Xiechen saw that in the center of the camp, there was a flagpole with a height of hundreds of meters, and a huge blood-red flag was waving in the wind. The violent cold wind occasionally pulled the flag straight, and a black skull with six wings on its back suddenly appeared clearly in front of Gu Xiechen.

The Blood Skull Flag, this is the banner of Hell's Angel Mercenary Corps. This is the headquarters of Hell's Angel Mercenary Corps, ranked second in the Federation!

A helicopter landed in the open space in the middle of the barracks, and three thousand new recruits were rushed out of the cabin to form a neat square array on the ground. The rotor blades of the helicopter rotated rapidly, and the accumulated snow on the ground was rolled up dozens of meters high. In the strong wind, these helicopters flew back into the air and gradually disappeared into the dark clouds.

Three thousand new recruits stood in the empty snowfield, braving the biting cold wind. Hundreds of searchlights shone on them from afar, and except for Gu Xiechen, everyone's body was trembling with fear. The surrounding barracks were hidden in darkness, as if only this patch of snow where the new recruits stood had light in the endless black night.

Exposed on the snowy ground for at least thirty minutes, the searchlights around suddenly went out simultaneously. Everyone's eyes were suddenly dark, and some new recruits who had been holding back their anger began to curse furiously.

A shrill and mournful cry suddenly pierced through the howling wind and snow around, and a searchlight beam shot out from the distant watchtower.

A tall, muscular man with a shaved head and wearing only black shorts and high-top combat boots emerged from the light pillar, carrying a struggling, nearly two-meter-tall giant of a man who was being held by the neck like a small rabbit in the hand of a giant.

Gu Xie dust was shocked to look at this tall and majestic man who appeared with such a high posture.

His height was at least over two meters twenty, a head of dazzling golden hair under the strong spotlight emitted a fiery glow like burning flames, skin whiter than the snow on the ground, and the faint golden lines that appeared on his skin fully revealed his identity.

  This is a Roam mixed-blood.

At least a thousand new recruits blew sharp whistles, and many shouted loudly: "Roman's mixed-blooded hybrids, go back to your Mars home!"

The half-breed giant coldly swept a glance at the crazily shouting new recruits, and with great force, he slammed the struggling and screaming giant to the ground, followed by a kick. The giant's head burst open like a rotten watermelon, spewing out blood and brains several meters away. The extremely cold wind quickly froze the originally steaming hot flesh into ice blocks. The shouting and cursing new recruits simultaneously shut their mouths, looking at the half-breed giant with terror as his boots were stained with brain matter and blood.

"Hehe, let me introduce myself! My name is Mo Ke, and for the next year, I will be your instructor. I'll try to turn you bunch of pampered brats into real heroes!"

"But if any of you can't take it, speak up now and I'll send you back to that black, stinking federal penitentiary!"

Mohe's mouth corners twitched slightly, probably indicating he had smiled.

He waved his right hand and said coldly, "However, if you choose to stay but can't bear the hardships of special training and want to escape like this waste on the ground, then... you've already seen what happened to him."

He raised his right index finger and sneered coldly: "First, obey orders. Those who disobey orders will be put to death."

Raising his right middle finger, Mo He continued to sneer: "Secondly, complete all the training subjects. Those who fail will be executed."

He raised his right hand with the middle finger up, shook his head and said: "Thirdly, never think of escaping. This place is less than a hundred kilometers away from the North Pole. Those who try to escape will be put to death!"

Three cold and ruthless rules intimidated all the new recruits, only Gu Xie Chen looked at Mo He with a relaxed expression. This kind of killing chicken to scare the monkey trick, Gu Xie Chen had seen it many times before.

It seems that Moha felt the gaze of Gu Xiechen, and he looked towards Gu Xiechen who was standing in the formation, sneering: "You still have one chance to avoid a year's special training. Defeat me, or withstand my attacks for half an hour without being killed by me, and you can officially become mercenaries of our Hell Mercenary Corps! You'll get loads of cash, fiery liquor, and beautiful women from all over the world, including pure-blooded Roman women, to enjoy as you please!"

"Girls, dare you?" Mohe stretched out his right hand and hooked his finger in the direction of Gu Xiechen.

With a fierce stomp of his feet, Gu Xie shot up tens of meters high, his head down and feet up like a cannonball hurtling towards Mo Hai.

A white misty aura wrapped around his double claws, Gu Xie's left hand was about to grab Mo He's head, while his right hand ruthlessly pierced towards Mo He's heart.

Mohe smiled disdainfully and casually threw a punch at Gu Xianchen.

Gu Xie Chen smiled, and the air around his paws burst forth with a strange, piercing sound. Ten white streaks tore through the air, visible to the naked eye, as Gu Xie Chen's paws moved like the wind, unleashing eighteen punches and thirty-six claw strikes in the span of a single second.

Fists and claws exploded on Mahaka's fist, Mahaka hummed, his body below the waist was all buried in the snow. From the back of his hand to his elbow, the skin on his right arm was torn into powder by the violent aura, blood gushed out, dripping onto the snowy ground, mixing with the brains of the mercenary who had just been killed.

Gǔ Xié's paws, carrying a faint chill, pressed against Mohē's eyeballs. He chuckled softly and said, "With just one gentle scratch from me, your eyeballs will be gone."

Mo Hai stared at Gu Xie Chen in shock, gritting his teeth and muttering under his breath: "Xiantian Gang Qi?"

  "Primordial Qi Devouring."

"!!!!" Mohe Meng turned around fiercely, pointing at the snow wall behind a distant barracks and roaring: "Are you plotting against me?"

Kuya felt someone was staring at him from that direction, he looked up towards the snow wall which seemed perfectly normal.

In the midst of this over 300-meter-high snow wall, there is a large circular hall covering an area of over 2,000 square meters. The hall is densely packed with various instruments, and at least 100 uniformed male and female mercenaries are busy in front of these instruments. On one extremely large surveillance screen, the footage of Gu Xuan suddenly taking action to subdue Mo Hai is being replayed.

A dozen or so high-ranking leaders of the Hell's Angel Mercenary Corps, dressed in black uniforms, surrounded a majestic and powerful bearded man standing at the center of the hall. The bearded man narrowed his eyes as he gazed at Gu Xiechen's claws bursting with aura, a smile spreading across his face like he had found treasure.

"Is he a congenital master? Hey, on the opposing side, is there such a young congenital master?" The burly man with a large beard asked his subordinate behind him with a smile.

"It's impossible, we're all too familiar with the trump cards our old rivals have up their sleeves. How could they possibly cultivate such a young and naturally talented individual?" A middle-aged woman with a stiff expression replied coldly.

Another middle-aged man with gold-rimmed glasses and a pale complexion added, "According to common sense, if it's a spy, no one would be willing to send out such a young congenital master as a spy. If it were us, we wouldn't be willing either."

"Great! That's our good luck! Hey, no matter what this kid's background is, hey, even if he raped the Federal President's granddaughter? According to mercenary rules, he's now one of Old Man Hell's Angels! Forge a resume for him, hmm, temporarily give him junior lieutenant treatment!" The burly man slapped his thigh forcefully, making an on-the-spot decision regarding Gu Xiechen.

Kuya Dust stood still in Hell's Angel Mercenary Corps.
