Chapter 47: Greed Fills the Heart (Part 2)

He silently pulled out a communicator from his sleeve and hastily said a few words into it. The small transport vessel that Saren and Aethereia had arrived in suddenly started up, slowly rising into the air and heading towards the Hell's Angels mercenary base. The transport vessel was not small in size, and the blue flame tail of its plasma engine was even more eye-catching in the night sky, with people from far and near seeing it leave the valley.

In a nearby thicket, three white-robed Vatican subordinates stared in shock at Gu Xuan dust standing still on the ground and the transport boat flying straight into the sky. They didn't understand what was going on. A burst of yellow earth suddenly erupted from behind the three people who were about to sound the alarm, and Xin Jia's massive body emerged from the earth. He stretched out his hands and easily snapped the necks of two white-robed men, then lightly punched the last person's head into the ground three feet deep.

Andre remained outside the valley in the dark outpost, apart from these three white-robed men, there were two other groups. One of them was three heavily armored Vatican knights, who were also about to warn Andre in the valley, and three thin knife wheels had already passed through their necks. Fresh blood spurted out of the arteries of the three people, shooting out a column of blood as far as seven or eight meters away, making a 'hissing' sound.

Another group of assassins, three men dressed in black tight-fitting clothes, were suddenly transported away by Gu Xie's remote control boat. Their fingers immediately pressed the communication device on their wrists. However, nine sturdy figures jumped down from the big tree above their heads, and nine long wooden spears with a length of two zhang pierced through their bodies with a dull breaking sound. The three killers secretly trained by the church also did not send out any information.

Yingli emerged from the grass with a small dagger in hand, and nodded sullenly at Gu Xie.

Gu Xiechen didn't say much, he ordered Xin Jia to bury all nine corpses dozens of meters underground. He hastily led his men around the side of the valley and slowly climbed up a cliff on one side of the valley. Here, Gu Xiechen found a good hiding place, a cave formed by several large boulders that could hold twenty or so people. Leaving Xin Jia and his subordinates to patrol the surroundings, Gu Xiechen and the others hid inside this natural cave.

On this cliff, every move in the valley is visible at a glance.

It seemed that Gu Xiechen's transport ship had taken off and left, and whether or not he received a warning from the hidden sentry outside, Archbishop Andre really thought that Gu Xiechen had already left this place. His full attention was focused on Hua and Xiao Zhang Daoren. It is unknown how they managed to provoke each other with just a few words, and more than a dozen Knights Templar wielding large swords rushed towards Hua and Xiao Zhang Daoren.

Gu Xie crouched behind a rock, narrowing his eyes to watch the battle below. Ing Lie knelt beside him, holding night vision goggles and also focusing on the battlefield below.

The Vatican Knights just pounced, and Xiao Zhang retreated to the back of Huahua. Huahua let out a loud whistle towards the sky, rolled up his sleeves and charged towards the dozen or so Vatican Knights. As Huahua looked up, the three crescent moons in the sky seemed to shine brighter for a moment, layers of dark gray mist seeped out from the moonlight and covered Huahua's body, with evil energy swirling around him, the twisted light made his figure appear much taller than normal.

Two great swords, shining with white holy light, descended from above, and Hua raised his right fist. In a split second, Hua struck out eighteen punches as fast as lightning. The force of the punches stirred the air, and a thunder-like explosion sound echoed through the valley. Two Temple Knights let out miserable screams as they flew backward, their thick silver armor unable to protect their bodies. Each of them had nine fist prints on their body, which were penetrated by Hua's punches, and nine clear fist prints also appeared on the back of their armor.

Xiao Zhang Dao Ren had already retreated to over a dozen meters away, his face twisted in a fierce scowl as he bellowed: "Boundless Heavenly Lord, today I will unleash my killing spree!" With a flick of his sleeves, a 30mm high-energy machine cannon appeared in his hands. Xiao Zhang Dao Ren stabilized the machine cannon on the ground, and with both hands, he forcefully pressed down the firing key. A series of 'zhi zhi zhi' sounds, like rain hitting banana leaves, rang out as this obviously specially modified laser cannon spat out thousands of beams of light within a mere three-tenths of a second.

The Templar knights, who were caught off guard while trying to avenge their comrades, had a thin layer of white light emanating from their armor. The high-energy beam struck the white light, causing a massive burst of radiance. However, this thin layer of protection didn't last long and was soon shattered into fragments. Over a dozen Templar knights let out blood-curdling screams as they hastily retreated backward. Each of them had two or three transparent holes, roughly the size of an egg, pierced through their bodies, causing excruciating pain that contorted their faces.

Andre's face turned extremely ugly and he let out a fierce roar.

Three white-robed cardinals stepped forward, simultaneously tearing open the scrolls they had prepared in their hands. Thirty Vatican knights burst forth from beside the three cardinals, emitting thick, several-inch-long white flames from their bodies as they shouted the holy name of God, their large swords spewing out sword lights that were several feet long.

Three torn scrolls burst forth with a holy light of ten thousand meters, three holy lights converged into a thick beam of light that shot up to the sky. A golden rain poured down from the sky, and a figure with wings on its back, several meters tall, slowly descended from the beam of light. The figure murmured vaguely, and suddenly the sky was filled with wonderful music, as beams of golden light continuously burst forth from the figure's hands. Thirty charging knights of the church were simultaneously enveloped in a thick golden aura, and beneath their feet emerged golden magic arrays several meters in diameter.

"Damn it!" cursed Hua and Zhang Daoren in unison. Zhang Daoren hastily retracted the machine gun, and the two of them rushed into the valley, one after the other.

Thirty Knights of the Vatican relentlessly pursued from behind, Andrei with a smile all over his face led the large army to follow closely and charge into the valley.

"Strange, where are the people from Asia Dao Meng?" Gu Xie furrowed his brow: "Could it be that these two guys really have the guts to come and trade with me just the two of them?"

"Beep beep", the communicator on Gu Xianchen's left wrist rang twice. He quickly answered it.

The military department of the Pangu Base of the Heavenly Star Expeditionary Force sent real-time satellite images to Gu Xiechen. In the dense forest 20 kilometers north of the valley, the Asian Taoist Alliance and the Gods' Union were confronting each other. More than a dozen burly men with a strong aura of death were fighting against more than a dozen wolf-like men with long black hair. From the satellite images, it could be seen that these two to three dozen men had extremely shocking strength, having already flattened an area of hundreds of meters in the dense forest.

Saijin and Inguri approached at the same time, Saijin sneered: "It seems that the Vatican and the Gods' Alliance have reached a cooperation agreement, after all, the Asian Taoist Alliance got that bamboo slip."

Ingli's dagger lightly scratched his face a few times, and he said in a low voice: "If the three of them can have internal conflicts and kill each other, our pressure will be greatly reduced."

She glared at Gu Xiechen again, and Ingley muttered: "I have to admit, bringing them to this valley was a clever move. Hmm, aren't you afraid that the people from the Church will tell the Asian Dao Alliance later that it was you who sold out the coordinates of this valley?"

Gu Xie dust stared at Ingrid in astonishment, his expression was so unbelievable.

"What does this have to do with me? The coordinates were indeed provided by me, but the one who passed on the intelligence to them was a military intelligence officer from Pangu Base. What does this have to do with me?"

"You!" Ingli was so angry that his body trembled, he pointed at Gu Xiechen for a long time without saying a word.

Gu Xie dust didn't bother to respond to Ying Ge Li, he just muttered to himself in a low voice: "The Vatican, the Asian Dao Alliance, and the Union of Gods have all arrived... but where is that one person?"

A strand of Aridyah's hair, leaning against a large stone, suddenly ignited. Two fiery lights burst out from her crimson eyes as she said in a low voice: "East, twenty kilometers away, at least 20,000 people are moving rapidly. One of my little treasures was trampled into pieces."

A tiny, half-transparent red insect, about the size of a green bean, flew out from Aridia's fingertips with a faint humming noise.

Gu Xie dust clenched his fist and smiled with satisfaction.

"True to form, the Romans have arrived."

"If the Vatican lost a large number of people at the hands of the Romans, they would be powerless to gain anything from Heaven's Gate even if they wanted to."

Ingley laughed a few times and turned his head around.

Gu Xie dust also laughed a few times, he too turned his head to one side.
