CHAPTER-1

  The F Ranker Hunter

  Ren was a feeble child and was quite weak compared to a average person. He was now 20 without a proper living and his parents had gone missing during the first dungeon break. There was no news regarding their death and Ren was clinging on to the little hope that they were still alive. He was just 4 years old when his parents dissapeared from the Tokyo streets in front of him and never found again. Since that day he pledged to take revenge from those bloody hounds and swore to kill every fucking last one of them.

  He was a F rank hunter with not too much great of stats and was so weak that couldnt even kill a

  Nibblet(low tier F rank monster) on his own.

  Ren : I should probably head home for the day . I couldnt even kill one of them. I have yet failed again. Anyways let me get out of this dungeon.

  (Stomach growls) Haven't eaten something in a while, have I? When was it the last time i had a proper meal was it 1 month ago or was it on the day i got my paycheck for cleaning this damn shitty ass ugly dungeon. Not even a monster would like to spend a night in here it stinks too much. Now i understand why these things are so moody and always looking for a meal.

  Haaaaa I should probably head back now gotta pay my rent tommorrow too and get back to work for some handy cash.

  (Growling noises) What the fuck was that. Am i hearing things now. This hunger is surely getting on my mind now. (Footsteps approaching) Wait someone's really coming towards my direction.

  The hell monk appears.

  What the.... It can't be . What is a C-rank monster doing in this dungeon? This thing is supposed to be even more powerful than the dungeon boss.

  Ren is intimated by the monster and his body isn't moving. He's feeling the primal fear of a prey about to be hunted by a predator. He somehow gets control over his body while trying to sink in the whole situation in his head.

  Ren tries to run away using his dasher skill which increases the users speed by 2%. But the hell monk is out of his league.

  Hell monk uses one of his four hands to punch Ren in the gut as he tries to escape. Ren collides with the rocks in the dungeon and immediately realizes the power level gap between them. He gets paralyzed by the hit due to passive skill of the monster allowing it paralyze the opponent for 2 seconds after a successful critical hit. He starts to cough out blood from his mouth aggressively while crawling on the ground trying to escape.

  Only one hit of the monster took out 90% of Ren's health bar.

  The hell monk uses the skill screech which reduces Ren's willpower by 2 stat points and increases the monk's attack and speed by 1 stat point. Rems tries to use his heavy blow skill using his old rusty second hand katana. The katana gets shatteres down into pieces as Ren loses hope of his survival. Ren tries to use the dasher skill again but he is out of mana. The hell monk gives him a creepy smirk while showing his red bloody teeth and his fully purple tongue. It then immediately comes in front of Ren as if it has a teleporting skill. Ren is unable to react to this as the monster smashes his head on the ground while showing the creepy smirk on its face. It then grabs Ren by the legs and continues to pound him on the ground again and again.

  *Critical Health: The player's health has reached 1%*

  So this is how it ends huh? I never expected to die in a lonely place like this. I thought one day i would take revenge of my parents from these bitches. I would never ever accept my defeat from a bastard like you. Can't hear me, you pig?

  The hell monk gets enraged and crushes both of his legs with its hands.

  If i was a little more powerful, I would have killed

  every single one of you with this body of mine.

  As Ren was about to accept his end he is surprised by the notification on his system interface.

  *Congratulations, You have been selected as the candidate to become the crown achiever of the game*

  What tf does that even mean. What is all this I can't understand. Suddenly Ren realizes his mana has been replenished and his legs are perfectly fine now.

  Woah what is all this? How did i heal my legs and why do i feel much lighter now?

  Hell monk is about to punch Ren when he suddenly activates barrier unintentionally.

  What is this? I didnt had this skill earlier. When did I get this?

  *Barrier: A defensive skill which creates a force field around the user according to the mana and the level of the skill.*

  *Absolute Regeneration: The player recovers health after every 10 minutes and any kind of physical damage is healed without the usage of mana*

  Why are you telling me all this now idiot?

  What shoukd i do now? This guy is gonna kill me for sure if i dont do anything.

  Ren is able to control the objects in the surrounding on his will without touching them.

  Here eat these rocks you bastard.

  The hell monk get knocked back by the rocks and is agitated now.

  Ohh so you are angry now. I want to finish this soon too. Lets do this shall we? Now for the finisher.

  Ren alligns his fingers in the form of a knife and a blade made out of pure blue mana emerges out from his hand. The hell monk rises his fist to

  punch Ren. The fist is blocked by the barrier skill and uses the mana blade to slice through the monster's body. Within a mere second the Hell monk turns into a pile of meat as Ren cuts him off using his skill. The hell monk lets out a shreak of agony before finally living it's last moments.

I slayed a C rank monster just now when until just a hour ago i was struggling with a f rank monster to the point that i couldn't even call myself a hunter. And what is all this system interface, I didn't knew something like this existed in this world.

  Ren trudged towards the dungeon exit, his heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The world outside didn't know it yet, but a new hunter was about to rise- one who could change everything.
