Taro slowly opened his eyes. As he did, the space around him started to crack and shake. The air looked like it was rippling, like water when you throw a stone.
The System's voice spoke in Taro's mind, "Congratulations, Taro! You've reached the top of the Nirvana Realm! You've worked really hard."
The cracks in the space started to fix themselves, leaving a faint glow. Taro's eyes widened as he understood what the System said. He had done it!
The System asked, "Now that you've reached this milestone, when will you create your second technique?"
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Taro smiled, feeling proud. "Soon," he said confidently.
The System went quiet. Taro took a moment to calm down, hiding his progress from others.
When he left the System Space, Taro found himself back in his academy room. He stretched, feeling refreshed.
Just then, his friends Lila, Kaito, and Mira burst in.
"Taro, wake up!" Lila exclaimed. "The school tournament is next week! It's a big deal – everyone's participating, from students to teachers, even the principal!"
Kaito added, "The tournament will decide our rankings for the whole year. If we do well, we'll get better dorms, more privileges, and even special training with the principal himself!"
Mira nodded. "And, of course, bragging rights. We can't let the other students show us up!"
Taro's eyes sparkled with excitement. "That's awesome! I'm so ready! Let's do this, guys!"
His friends grinned, and they all high-fived each other.
The tournament was coming, and Taro was more determined than ever to make his mark!
