Chapter Seventy: Ambushing the Camp

After learning that Stoff was ambushed, the remaining Bantu people did not dare to slack off. They would rather believe it than not believe it and immediately sent troops out. Of course, in order to prevent any unexpected events, nearly 800 soldiers were left behind to guard the main camp.

Eight hundred soldiers, on the war front or in some big towns, are simply negligible. But in the remote town of Weisen, it is already a considerable force. Even if the Russians suddenly attack, they will probably not be able to break in even if they bleed their last drop of blood.

Simple but sturdy wooden walls, lofty arrow towers, secret night watches and patrolling troops going back and forth, the remaining Bantu people sleep soundly. No one thought that the Ruo people would be foolish enough to come and attack the camp, sleeping more fragrantly than each other.

As the reinforcement troops disappeared into the night, the Bantu people who were on guard slowly calmed down. Stoff had taken away five hundred elite guards and now more than a thousand soldiers rushed to reinforce, with such a large number of people, it was not possible for the Ross people to be completely defeated, at least they could stand undefeated.

In the dead of night, when drowsiness was at its peak, the soldiers on sentry duty yawned a few times and relaxed their vigilance, including those on patrol. Some sneaked away to drink and gamble, some gathered together to brag, while others simply found a corner to sleep soundly. No one noticed that a large group of uninvited guests had suddenly appeared in the woods near the camp.

After the horned beast solved the Bantu people's hidden whistle, Yang Ling led the army to sneak quietly to the vicinity of the opponent's camp. The Bantu people had many hidden whistles, and their hiding positions were also very secret, but in front of the horned beast with keen senses and flying speed, they often didn't have time to react before being killed one by one.

Perhaps due to limited resources or perhaps due to overconfidence in their own strength, thinking that no one dared to attack them, the defensive fortifications of the Bantu people were not very strong. It can even be said to be simple and crude.

Perched high above, Yang Ling observed that the Bantou people's camp, which was as large as a football field, had more than 100 tents. Outside was a simple wooden wall about one person high. In each of the four corners of the southeast, northwest, southwest, and northeast, there was a watchtower. According to preliminary estimates, each could only hold about 20 soldiers on guard duty, with severely insufficient firepower. It's better to call it a watchtower than an arrow tower.

The camp is backed by a mountain to the west, and the other three sides are flat land, not an easy place to defend. The western mountain wall is very steep, and as long as there are 100 warriors guarding it on the mountain, I believe that the retreat of the Bantu people in the west can be blocked. As for the other three sides, although there are arrow towers and wooden walls, I believe they are no different from a thin paper in front of the magic beast army.

Don't delay. Fight quickly and decide quickly! After understanding the basic situation, Yang Ling quickly thought of a way to attack.

"Kassy, after the horned beast takes out the soldiers on the arrow tower. You lead 500 men to quickly break through the east wall and kill your way in, taking no prisoners, killing anyone who stands in your way!" Yang Ling gave a decisive order.

"Yes, I understand!" Kassy, clad in heavy armor, bowed his head to receive orders.

"Ku Te, you lead 400 men to break through the south wall and kill your way in. Kill without mercy! A Gu Su, you lead the Imperial Guard to follow behind Ku Te's army and set fires!"

"Yes. Understood!" Kudou and Agu both bowed their heads in unison to receive orders.

A hundred elite archers were deployed to ambush on the western mountain, and after making preparations, Yang Ling no longer hesitated. He divided the hornet beasts into four teams, each attacking one of the four arrow towers occupied by the Bantou people. In an instant, the hornet beasts, which had been building up their strength, split into four groups and charged towards the Bantou people's arrow towers like lightning.

On the watchtower, the guards were either leaning against the wooden wall snoring loudly or gathered together chatting idly, from the capital's fashionable noblewomen to the tender and delicate girls of Weisen Town. They talked with great relish, occasionally bursting into loud laughter. No one noticed the black cloud-like beast approaching, completely unaware of the impending disaster.

"Oyemia, you're even lazier than a Saro pig! You stand on the arrow tower all day to pee, be careful not to get caught by the patrolling General-sama, or he'll cut off your precious thing and feed it to the dogs!" Seeing Oyemia standing at the edge of the arrow tower with his legs spread apart, one sleepless guy muttered in dissatisfaction.

"Ebilis, what's wrong? Doesn't our leader often do such things?"

A soldier named Oimiya didn't think much of it, and while laughing, he unbuttoned his pants. However, just as he was about to pull out his thing, he suddenly let out a loud "ah" and saw an unbelievable sight.

"Haha, poor Oi Meya, isn't it a coincidence that you've arrived at our leader's place?"

"Heh heh, Oi Meya is done for. Even if her life is spared, she'll at least be trampled on by Lord Unite!"

As Oi'mia stood there with her eyes wide and mouth agape, the soldiers in the arrow tower couldn't help but burst out laughing. However, just as they were about to stand up and take a look at the commotion, they suddenly saw a group of ferocious horned beasts charging towards them from the darkness.

Where did so many horned beetles come from?

Looking at the fist-sized, densely packed horned beasts, the soldiers rubbed their eyes in confusion, unable to react for a moment.

As a low-level beast, the Quillboar can be found throughout the Deadmines; however, ones as large as fists with quills on their backs are extremely rare, let alone an entire group appearing at once. For a moment, nearly all of the soldiers thought they were seeing things.

The horned beast was very fast and beautiful, and before the soldiers could even think, it flashed in front of them like lightning.

Not good! The enemy is attacking!

  ******

As the horned beasts darted forward like lightning, the soldiers instinctively felt something was off. Unfortunately, it was too late, and before they could sound the alarm, the swift horned beasts shot out a flurry of unstoppable poisonous stingers.

  It's really too fast!

Soldiers often feel a cold light in front of their eyes, and before they can react, the poisonous stinger has been fiercely stabbed into their body, numb all over, and they fall to the ground powerlessly, staring blankly at the dense and numerous hornets rushing up to tear them apart frantically.

  "Action, no discussion!"

After the successful raid of the Angle Worm Beast, Yang Ling gave a decisive order, turned around and rode on the Unicorn, commanding the Demon Beast Army to launch a fierce attack on the gate of the Bantu people.

The vanguard, of course, was the evil eye army like a mortar. Under the command of the evil eye tyrant, dense light bullets fell on the Bantu people's camp like raindrops, and under the flash, the Bantu people guarding the gate were blown into mud. Unfortunately, the range is limited, otherwise, just the evil eye corps can make the opponent annihilated.

After several rounds of cannon fire, the first to move were the stone statue ghosts. Although there were not many, they excelled in speed and sharp attacks, one by one killing off the remaining fish near the gate, quickly clearing the road for the army.

In the air, it was the domain of the Golems and the Wyverns, but on the ground, the withered warriors were unmatched in terms of attack power. The thin wooden walls of the Bantu people's village were like a layer of paper to them, and they could kick through them with one foot. When they encountered several struggling Bantu people, they trampled them into pulp with one foot and quickly rushed towards the tents inside the wooden wall.

Behind the withered warrior, a dense army of spiders. Rushing into the Bantu people's camp quickly, under the command of the wolf spider king, they surged forward like a tide to kill the Bantu people who were awakened from their dreams.

In terms of remote attack capabilities, they are not as good as the Evil Eye Army; in terms of individual close combat capabilities, they are far inferior to the withered wooden warriors like meat grinders, but quantitative changes lead to qualitative changes, and no one can stop their tidal wave-like offensive. Sharp venomous fangs, deadly venom, make them the soul reapers of the Bantu people.

After waking up from the dream, facing the Angle Beasts and Stone Golems that filled the sky, facing the endless army of spiders on the ground, and facing the giant withered warriors, the Bantu people who woke up from the dream were almost frightened out of their wits.

In a state of great shock, the soldiers fled in disarray, running faster than rabbits. Unfortunately, everything was in vain before the extremely fast demonic beast army, and they were instantly overwhelmed by the surging tide of demonic beasts.

Yang Ling's side was like a broken bamboo, and Kasi and Guo also didn't encounter any decent resistance. The barbarians wielding giant axes like cart wheels swept forward, and the archers and swordsmen following closely behind also showed off their prowess, killing the Bantu people who had lost all will to fight until blood flowed like rivers.

In the chaos, the Bantu people could not find soldiers, and the soldiers could not find their commanders, so they were unable to organize a strong resistance. A few low-ranking officers had just gathered a few soldiers to resist when they were suddenly killed by the swarming Angle Beasts or Stone Golems.

When they realized the situation was hopeless, some of the Bantus desperately rushed to the foot of the western cliff, hoping to climb up and escape. Unfortunately, either they were killed by the low-flying Wyverns or they fell to their deaths halfway up the cliff due to tension. Even if they managed to climb up the steep cliff, they were picked off one by one by the waiting Elf archers.

  Massacre, a completely one-sided massacre!

It would be more accurate to describe it as a bloody massacre rather than a perfect ambush. In the face of Yang Ling's ferocious guard and his massive demonic beast army, the defenseless Bantu people had no chance of fighting back, with many not even waking up before meeting their demise.

"Hurry up and set fire, hurry!"

Yang Ling rode a unicorn back and forth, directing Agu Su to act quickly, preparing to set fire to Stov's large camp, pulling out his power in Visen Town from the roots. Without food or grass, without replenished weapons and a foothold, Stov would not have the ability to bully even with the help of reinforcements after defeating the Russians.

Gather the Warcraft army, set fire to the camp of the Bantu people and intentionally leave some Russian weapons and armor behind. Yang Ling led the army to quickly leave. Even if Stov can come back alive, I believe that under his furious anger, he will naturally put this blood feud on the head of the old enemy Russia.

No matter when, getting the greatest benefit at the least cost is the true royal way!

Yang Ling did not want to miss any opportunity for the fishermen to gain an advantage, the more fiercely the Bantu and Russian people fought, the more beneficial it would be for him. Whether now or in the future!
