Hi everyone,

  You're all probably wondering why there haven't been updates in a while. Long story short, my mom had a nasty accident. This has temporarily promoted me to primary caregiver while she recovers. I've had to put my entire life on hold for the past couple of months for this, and that includes writing and editing Vale.

  My mom is a lot better already, but the road to recovery remains a long one. So this temporary hiatus will probably continue for a while still. I hope to get back to writing soon-ish, but I can't provide a timeline just yet. While the urge to write is there, the time and the mental bandwidth to act on that urge is still lacking. Expect it to be another month or two before a new chapter drops.
