Chapter 101: Trying Clothes in Front of Him

The tailor's speed is actually very fast, but because Cynthia sent too many boxes, currently only 7 or 8 pieces of finished clothing and some matching accessories have been made.

Cynthia had Joe move all the trunks full of clothes up onto the wagon.

"In about half a month, the rest can be done well." The elf took over the heavy gold coins she handed over and happily spun several circles in mid-air.

Cynthia took the clothes back to the castle.

She had Joe carry the trunk into the bedroom and then hastily pulled out a sky-blue dress with a full skirt and put it on.

Under her specific instructions, the sprite made a high and conservative blue-and-white tight-fitting top that was not revealing at all.

Cynthia felt that this time Kael should have nothing to say, unless he still disliked blue.

With a casual gesture, Cynthia tied up her hair with a golden hairband and let it fall on her shoulders. She picked up a feather hat and put it on, and the sweet girl in the mirror was very satisfied.

She was just about to go out when her eyes fell on the envelope that had fallen out of the clothes she had exchanged, and her gaze froze.

She reached out to pick up the envelope and was about to throw it into the fireplace, but just as she was about to touch the flames, she suddenly withdrew her hand.

Cynthia was unsure how this person had gotten in.

Did he sneak across the river or did he sneak over with Caius' tacit consent?

What if he knew what to do? Burning letters again would involve a crisis of trust.

  Take it directly to Kayus?

It seems like there's no important information revealed in the letter, it's just a brother who loves his sister expressing his thoughts and feelings.

Cynthia was a bit uncertain, she pondered for a while and then dropped the letter on the bed.

  Let's talk about it later.

She walked towards Kayus's bedroom with a light step.

In the cold-colored bedroom, no one was there. She went upstairs again and found Caius holding a wine glass and reading with his head down in the study.

The weather is fine and the sun sets uprightly.

Golden sunlight with a hint of orange poured in from the side window, casting dappled colors that rendered the entire elegant and luxurious study room, as well as the handsome young man with raven-black hair.

  "Kayus." Cynthia called out softly.

He raised his head, a pair of sharp red eyes that had been narrowed in anger softened when they saw her skirt.

"Does it look good?" She walked up, turned around in front of the desk, and then showed an expectant expression, "I made it from the fabric I took out of your basement."

Kai Er put down the book in her hand, and the four words "harmful to public morals" got stuck as her gaze swept across her chest.

The girl's figure is perfect, with slender shoulders and only her beautiful collarbone exposed. Her skirt covers her ankles just right, sweeping the ground, and her waist is slim and curvy above.

  Very beautiful.

Cynthia was a bit overwhelmed by his intense stare, and most importantly, she couldn't read the emotions in his eyes at all.

Caius remained silent for a long time, and Cynthia was even standing straight with fatigue. The corners of her mouth that had been raised also fell, and disappointment crept into the corners of her eyes.

  "I understand."

She lifted her skirt and turned around to walk out of the study, but didn't expect a low and pleasant voice to suddenly come from behind, "Not bad."

Cynthia's back stiffened and she stopped in her tracks, her lips that had just fallen immediately lifted up.

"Really!" She turned back excitedly, her eyes shining, "I think so too! I still have five or six more! Let me show them all to you!"

Kairos watched her quickly run out of the door and furrowed his brow, suddenly regretting why he had just said that sentence.

Cynthia couldn't help but show off her beautiful thoughts.

She kept running back and forth between the third and fourth floors, wearing all sorts of skirts, waiting for Kaisa's evaluation.

"Actually, I think the design of this backless dress is quite strong." Cynthia looked down at her red dress, which was just a flowing silk skirt that exposed more than half of her back.

  "It's lost."

"Compared to last time, it really is."

"I don't want to repeat the second time." Kael's gaze was fixed on her sleek back, his fierce eyes like a terrifying male lion with a growling stomach.

Cynthia bit her lip and responded with a dissatisfied tone, who knows where he got so many conservative ideas from.

The folk customs of Taimolia are 'simple and honest', the female inn is everywhere, but this overlord is a male moral excellence champion.

All the dresses that Kaisa barely praised were vertical collars with long sleeves, and even her neck was not exposed, as if she wanted to wrap her face up.

I brought back just a few, and only three of them are good enough for this old fellow's eyes.

Cynthia changed back into her usual nightgown, wrapped herself in a blanket and sat down beside him in her own little chair. "And what about the Saint's Day ceremony? What am I supposed to wear? Shouldn't it be something fancy so as not to shame you?"

Caius glanced at her, "That was just a show."

So she's casual about it? As long as it doesn't get exposed, it's fine?

  It's really boring.

Cynthia pressed her face against the table, staring at the goose feather brush moving in his hand, and suddenly thought of something, and sat up with a swish.

  "Right."

"I have something I want to show you."

She hastily ran downstairs and rushed back to the bedroom to retrieve the letter from the bed, bumping into Qiao at the door who had come to call her for dinner.

"Wait a minute, I have something to say to Karius." She clutched the letter and ran upstairs again.

That golden mark unique to Rhedania flashed before Joe's eyes.

Cynthia clutched the letter and walked up to Kayrus, wanting to speak but hesitating.

Kairos, who was writing with his head down, raised his eyes and fixed his gaze on her hand, "What?"

He calmly inquired, covering up his surging emotions just now.

"Um, can you promise me one thing first?" Cynthia asked cautiously.

"You know you have no reason to talk terms with me."

"That's right, can you give me a reason then?" Cynthia said anxiously: "This is important, I don't want to hurt innocent people."

  "Okay."

He suddenly agreed without any thinking.

Cynthia looked at him in surprise, and also caught a hint of regret in his eyes.

That seems like an uncontrollable and unguarded indulgence?

She curved her lips and handed over the envelope. "A letter given to me by one person, Kael. You have to promise not to kill him out of anger."

  "What's wrong?"

Kai Rui's long fingers pinched the letter paper, and after reading only a few words at the beginning, his fingers had already crumpled one corner of the letter paper.

Cynthia could feel his surging anger and killing intent.

"That's your grudge with your brother, so don't harm innocent people." She said: "I just want to remind you, be prepared, I don't want to be robbed."

Kairos' eyes turned dark red, the storm brewing in them making the wind blowing around him carry a chilling coolness.

Woo woo woo, don't forget to vote, little cuties!
