Sakai
Sakai was born into a modest family of priests in Lior. Their life was simple and measured, far from the splendor of royal courts, but filled with warmth. The fourth child in the family, Sakai became part of its small world from the very first moments of his life, a world where days were spent in work, prayer, and the joy of companionship.
Sakai was an ordinary infant. His tiny fingers wrapped around his father's thumb; he fell asleep in the soft embrace of his mother. His older brothers and sister watched him with curiosity, played nearby, and helped their mother care for him. Sakai's world was simple, cozy, and full of care.
Hirata
At the same time, in Ezeris, a boy named Hirata was born into a wealthy family. Their home was spacious, with marble floors and tall windows. Though not nobility, their status afforded them access to the best life had to offer. Their connections with the aristocracy opened doors to high society, though Hirata himself knew little of this at the time.
When Hirata opened his eyes, he suddenly found himself in a new body. The last moments of his previous life still burned in his memory. He remembered the guillotine, Sakai’s face, and the pain of loss. Now, lying in the arms of a woman who gently called him her son, he tried to make sense of what was happening. His mind was that of an adult, his memory filled with vivid images, but his body… his body was tiny and helpless.

At first, his parents noticed nothing unusual. However, over time, Hirata began to display signs that could not be ignored. He tried to speak, but the infant's tongue betrayed him, producing only incoherent sounds. This brought smiles to his parents but filled Hirata with despair. He observed the world around him, clinging to details and studying this new reality.
Within a few months, it became clear that Hirata was not like other infants. He began to pay close attention to adults’ words, smiling in response to conversations, showing awareness. His parents began whispering about how special he was. When, at barely six months old, he started mimicking words, it convinced them entirely that the boy was a gift from the gods.
Rumors began to spread. People came to see the child who supposedly possessed miraculous abilities. For Hirata, however, all of this felt like a trial. He felt like a stranger in this new world, where no one understood who he was or where he came from.
Sakai and Hirata were separated by hundreds of kilometers. One grew up in a family where warmth and care were a natural part of life. The other grew up in wealth and luxury but bore the burden of memories from a previous life.
This chapter of their lives was only the beginning. Their paths had yet to cross, but destiny had already begun weaving the threads that would one day bring them together. The only question was who they would become when that day arrived.
