Meanwhile in Las Caligulas, the three young adults and one adult walk out of the graveyard after they’ve digged someone’s graveyard to take out what it looks like to be an amulet. Alexander is still under the effects of the Jenkem drug, effects that will last the entire night. Selena is holding the amulet they just snatched from that corpse, she looks inside it and can see something written in there, but the writing is not readable.
“What is even written in there?” asks Selena to detective Malcolm who tags along with them.
“Don’t know…” says Detective Malcolm looking at the amulet with the help of his flashlight. “But it’s certainly written the name of the one we digged the body and the date of birth.”
“And what was his name though?” asks Marcus to the two adults. “The gravestone didn’t have a name.”
“No idea.” says detective Malcolm handing the amulet back to Selena, then he looks at Marcus. “Why don’t you ask your friend?”
The three are looking around, and they see Alexander who is entering the passenger seat of the car Detective Malcolm has driven to get here with the other two adults. The three are looking at each, wondering what to do, but before they could say something, Selena's phone rings.
“Hello?” asks Selena after she took the phone, viewed the unknown number and responded.
“Hi, Selena!” says the voice of Rosa from the other side.
“Rosa?” asks Selena, surprised.
“Yes.”
“Where are you? I was so worried.”
“I am fine.” responds Rosa. “I am in Hawaii. My phone died, and I don’t have any money to go to a rechargeable hub. Nor I don’t think there’s any rechargeable hub here in Hawaii. Anyway, where are you?”
“I am in Las Caligulas. We’ve jus-Wait! Are you in Hawaii?” asks Selena, sounding surprised on the phone.
“Yes. Still don't know how exactly I ended up here.” responds Rosa to Selena's question. “But, leaving that aside. You are with the others?”
“Others?” asks Selena. “You mean Marcus and Alexander?”
“Yes. The two boys. Are you with them?”
“Yes. I am with them.”
“That’s good.” says Rosa sounding relieved over the phone. “Tell them that I’ve found the second amulet.”
“Second amulet?”
“Yes. The one the ghosts told us they’ll be in Hawaii last night. I found it. Now we need yours, and can do the ceremony to stop the demon from killing us.”
“Wait, wait, wait!” says Selena, sounding scared. “The demon is trying to kill us all?!”
“Well, only me, you and Alexander.”
“Why us?!” Selena asks, sounding scared.
“You don’t remember, huh?”

“What to remember, Rosa?”
“One of the ghosts, I think it was the one we stole the amulet from… Um, what was her name again?”
“Rosa Abigail.”
“Um Rosa?” asks Marcus over the phone, then he looks at Selena if he can take the phone, which Selena obliges, handing her phone to Marcus to talk with her. “Look, Rosa. I am Marcus. You probably remember me.”
“I do.”
“Alright. Now listen. Besides her amulet, there also needs to be her remains right?”
“Oh, right. But there wasn’t anything there to take. Most of her bones turned to dust while the clothing was in bad shape.”
“I see… But, how many amulets did you find?”
“I only have one.”
“And we have two.”
“One more amulet?” asks Rosa. “Wasn’t supposed to be only two.”
“Technically it’s a watch. But yeah, there are three amulets in total.”
“I-I see… So, what are we going to do?”
“You’re in Hawaii, right?”
“Yes. I am in Hawaii. Near the volcano where we have to do the ritual.”
“That’s good because we’ll come there.”
“With what?” asks Rosa to Marcus. “You have the money?”
“I am loaded.” says Marcus with a smirk. “Await us to the nearest airport, and we’ll finish this.”
Marcus hands over the phone to Selena to carry on the conversation.
“Is everything alright Rosa?”
“Yes.” responds Rosa over the phone to Selena. “I will be in touch and call you back from a payphone to tell you at which airport you're supposed to be.”
“Okay.” says Selena.
“Gotta go, this payphone tells me I have to insert another twenty-five cents before he starts cutting the ca-”
Then, the call stopped abruptly, which made Selena feel a little worried, but Detective Malcolm assured her that these phone calls through the payphone are normal when they are cutting off. After Selena was feeling relieved, Marcus told the three his plan.
“We’ll go to Hawaii, burn the amulets and the watch into any volcano and this curse should end.”
“Sounds good.” says Detective Malcolm. “By the way, where’s the watch?”
“It’s here.” says Marcus raising his hand up, to reveal a hairy arm without any watch.
“Um…” tries to say Selena. “Where exactly?”
Marcus looks to his hand with the help of the light of a nearby streetlamp and sees that on his arm the watch he snatched from someone’s grave is missing. Marcus gasps, then he looks around his jacket pockets and pants pockets worried, wondering if the watch hadn't been stolen while he wasn’t looking.
“Oh shit.”
“You lost the watch?” Selena asks, shocked.
“Don’t, don’t.” says Marcus to Selena trying to calm her down. “I must’ve left back in the dorm. In my room. Where else I would've left it… Oh…”
“What?” asks Selena, sounding worried as well as Detective Malcolm.
“I think… I know where I've left the watch.”
“Where?” asks Selena.
“You probably won’t like it.”
“What do you mean?”
“My watch is at… Well… At my ex’s apartment.”
“How?” asks Detective Malcolm.
“I don't know. Probably while me and the others were on the Jenkem trip.”
“Then, we have to go to her apartment and snatch it from there.” says Selena.
“We can’t do that.”
“And why not?” asks Selena, sounding pissed at Marcus.
“Because she’s my ex.”
“So? Be a man and go back to her place and take the watch back.”
“Alright.” says Marcus after he sighed. “Worth a shot to ask her.”
The three walk toward the car where Alexander is still sitting and has been waiting for them this whole time like a little kid who was told to remain in the car and wait for his Mother while he does her errands at a Mall which is mostly a shopping spree. In the car, Detective Malcolm drives the group away from the graveyard toward the apartment district where Marcus’s ex-girlfriend lives, whose name is Velma.
